<p>For this reason, I am going to apply Werther Ortis as a member of the Holy Knights. His backstory, powers and personality are mostly the same as I posted in my pre-reboot series, but with few tweaks: </p><p>>First, as additional part of his Backstory, his father was a Rune Knight, who alongside his troupes, was killed the day Werther's home was sacked by the cultists of Zeref. The local Magical Guilds were either unable or unwilling to help, which pushed the guy away from seeking asnwers outside the council boundaries. As per te rest, it is rather simple: Werther was kidnapped at very tender age by cultists of Zeref. They were, however, a different branch from the one which sought  to build the Tower of Heaven: their desire was to unlock the power of a weapon called Kethaka. They succeded, and Werther used the very weapon they were trying to master to escape from his captor. A few time after that, he joined the Rune Knights, had several years of service and became an Holy Knight. He may have (but I have to outline that) met Azriel before that. </p><p>>Personality wise, Werther is cynical and highly abrasive. He does not get along nor trust people, dedicating all of his life to train and destroy dark mages. Despite this, he acts in a very professional manner, carrying out scrupolously every job of the Council. Despite his bitterness, his heart is more or less on the right place. </p><p>> Abilities wise, he wears the magical shield Kethaka, an artifact seemingly connected with Zeref. Connected with Werther through an advanced Organic Link, it creates an aura around the knight which nullifies every magic used on him. As drawback Werther is unable to use magic whatsoever. That shield was analyzed a lot by the Council scientists, who did ensure after months of tests that it did not have any corruptive effective on him. They did not, however, manage to unveil their secret, so they tought the best course of action was to give Werther weapon back with few accessorial modifications and wreck some shit up. Fittingly, Werther's code name is Castiel, the shield of God. </p><p>>Since he cannot utilize magic, Werther trained his own body to become the lethal weapon he needed. He is an incredibly proficient hand-to-hand combatant and a master of multiple forms fighting, in a similar fashion a capitan America and the Punisher. He may not be a master fencer, but has experience with multiple tools. He is also an excellent spy, tactitian and infiltrator, having to learn how to blend in Dark Guils to survive his captivitiy. For this reason, The Council calls him mostly to do undercover or black-ops jobs. </p><p>> Kethaka may have a secret attack, which consumes Werther magic by concentrating it in a bay of concentrated anti-particles magic. That attack will deprive any opponent of their power and can potentially kill them due to anti magical poisoning, but makes also the shield totally inactive for a prolonged time, leaving Werther vulnerable. </p><p>I hope you like my man. </p>

<p>Right, I'll start replying to Tabor and BB in order. </p><p>Since Cedar's master is the partner of Ashy's planned Holy Knight, I'll make an exception for this "successor died, and got promoted" route, but he does show qualities of a Holy Knights. As such, I will accept him in. </p><p>Now, for Tabor's Werther. He's fine for the most part, but my one issue is this bit </p><p>"Personality wise, Werther is cynical and highly abrasive. He does not get along nor trust people, dedicating all of his life to train and destroy dark mages." </p><p>Now there's nothing inherently wrong with being dedicated to destroying dark mages, but not getting along or trusting people is an issue when you're in an elite and important group, with a leader. Being abrasive is more subjective and debatable, and being cynical is just fine. I'd say just work on that bit, and he should be fine. </p><p>I've also forgot to mention that Werther needs to have done a significant contribution to the Rune Knights or Council to be granted into the Holy Knights. </p>

<p>While I'm working on many things, for now, I'm gonna admit Kevin Gabriel Singhel, otherwise known as Gabriel (lit. "Power of God or "God is my Strength") yeah, just like others. So, as you can see, he is a Squire, not a Holy Knight, who serves under Keine Tachibana (it was approved by Per a long time ago, yeah). So, who is he: </p><p>>A very good Rune Knight, maintaining his squire position for a while. Kevin is the heir of Singhel Family, in past, this family was actually a clan that fought the Earth Land's supernatural cases, for now, it is somewhat a military-based family, where almost every generation has their child as Rune Knight, a man involved in the military organization, etc. Because his generation is, well, now, Kevin was chosen to become the new representative of this tradition. Within his family and their education, it is impossible for Kevin to have any criminal record, moreover, he suppresses any attempt of his fellow comrades within the Rune Knights to make anything bad, if he becomes aware of such idea from anybody. </p><p>>Because of his life and the responsibilities he has since childhood, Kevin is serious, hard-working man, who tries to not simply fight the evil, but actually work with it, try to understand it and eventually help it to become good in any way, something that works well with Keine's opinion on justice and her behavior with everyone. He is quite strict, stern man, the one who values order and respect, as well as the understanding one; he has an interest in people in general, he tries to find their motivation and desires, and the thing that caused them to become Dark Mage or simply evil, another testament to his way of being the Squire. On the other side, he cannot be called as the one who blindly serves the Magic Council, suspecting that every organization might have its own dark secrets - he simply tries to help innocent people and bad people, in order to maintain the balance of light and dark. He is careful in his speeches and actions, at least with those, who have the higher position. You can easily say, that Kevin is similar to Invel, but they have completely different stories and motivation; Kevin also may have his own opinion and decisions that aren't similar to the the Council's, and he doesn't maintain such high position as the Winter General. </p><p>>In terms of history and as it was mentioned, Kevin was highly educated within his family and attended Rune Knight Academy or School or what they have, I dunno; graduated with high marks as a persisting student, he learned his primary Magic, Lightning Magic, at that time. After that, he became the Rune Knight and worked for Magic Council. He was rather invited to become Squire, because of his talent and not the power, but intelligence; he easily passed any of intelligence tests, was able to greatly develop his magical abilities through the use of his knowledge, which eventually makes him a strong Mage. After becoming Squire, he learned a lot from Keine too, greatly improving himself again. </p><p>>In terms of his abilities, both physical and magical, Kevin is a quite good example of not being strong from the beginning, but as an example of the one, who spends a lot of time to become the one. His primary power is his keen, I would say almost immense intellect, as he understands many things around himself, and his powers lie in not what he has, but how he is able to utilize it. His own view on different attributes in terms of his own powers allowed him to become Squire, as to be honest, and he spends much of his time learning something new from different sources. He is well-trained, keeping himself in form, and his keen intellect allowed him to extend his roster of his Lightning Magic. He was trained in unarmed combat, is an expert hand-to-hand combatant and I may assume, that Kevin often trains with Keine in order to learn from her; he is a master swordsman due to him being highly trained since his childhood. As a Mage, Kevin shows great capabilities in Lightning Magic, is able to utilize White Lightning and Violet Spark; he also knows quite much about Enchantment and can be called as the Enchanter (due to already mentioned WL and VS). He also utilizes either Ice-Make or Ice Magic (haven't decided yet) through his sword as Holder Magic; his pinnacle is that he was able to create some combination spells that unite his ice and lightning powers. </p><p>>The codename Gabriel was given to him because of two reasons - first is that he is, well, named Gabriel; the second one is that he has great potential and he might be called as the late bloomer. </p><p>Well, that it. Hope I haven't made him power-based (and I can) and I will expend his intellectual attribute in future in order to give enough explanation why he became a strong Squire, on his page. If you have some suggestions, I will be glad to hear them. </p>

<p>Ugh, this fuckin' shit swallowed my message...here I go. As you know, I'm gonna' applicate for Abaddon once again: </p>

• Backstory: Not much is known about his backstory, he comes from a family whose members often tend to join and help the Magic Council. Influenced, also trained, by his older brother and father, Abaddon soon joined the Council and passed a certain trail to join the Rune Knights.

• Personality: Although his page says something, I may change it soon for the most part. He is a serious-funny kind of person, often staying quiet but quickly pointing out things. He is strict, not liking if people don't pay attention or don't do a fine job. Abaddon constantly corrects people if they're doing something wrong. His will is unshakable, not backing up from a fight and protecting/saving people and even his comrades.

• Power: For offensive purposes (for the most part) Abaddon uses a conjunction of Telekinesis and Spheroid, making the latter's spheres hurl around in order to execute a variety of attack combinations. To defend himself, he favors using Territory to stop attacks coming at him, like projectiles or spells themselves. Abaddon has the spear Longinus which can magically extend itself an immense amount of meters.

• Contribution: Abaddon helped a lot when it came to Security, overall that is. Surveillance, the design of many prisons and guard duty were all overhauled with his help, being improved to a certain point.

<p>Okay, Copy. Copy, mah boy, Squires don't need an application, only Holy Knights do. You just need to ask the user who has a Holy Knight.  </p><p>Unfortunately, I've recently asked Per if I could make Keine's squire, to which she said yes, shortly after she was first approved to join. I've already discussed it briefly with her, and she didn't seem to recall you, either forgetting or assuming you discontinued your plans. </p><p>But, for the actual character, he's fine, for the most part. But my issue is he's no Squire. Squires can be prodigies and powerful, but they are meant to be inexperienced, or atleast, not masters per se, who the Holy Knights choose to teach and be their successors one day. Additionally, they are not lite copies of their masters, as it seems to be what you have with Kevin specializing in lightning, though his intelligence being great is a good skill on its own, and I don't really see any reason to give him an additional element magic or a moolding magic much less. </p><p>
</p><p>Please go over these, and do not take this the wrong way, about me making Keine's squire now, since it seems it's been a really long time, additionally, this is a reboot of sorts. Ask other Holy Knights if they'd like a squire, and wait for their replies. </p>

<p>Damon's Abaddon is fine, he passes. Although, Territory manipulates space, which isn't simple, and the way you phrased it made it look like it's something simple he can just "use" and chooses to use for defensive use only. While I won't tell ya to change it, it does sound quite iffy. </p><p>Regardless, he's fine. </p>

<p>Oh, that's quite surprising, ahah. Well, okay then, should I make it as an application for HK position, than, if we have this surprise? I will re-consider some parts of him, as you told me some issues even now. <strike>Or should I ask Alpha, cuz he's the one without Squire, I dunno</strike> </p>

<p>If you want to make him a Knight, figure out what kind of contribution he made, and fix up his abilities, then apply again. Or wait until there's more Knights, and ask them. </p>

<p>My response to High. </p><p>On the trusting issue, I always figured my character to be a gruffy and cynical one. However, when paired with his colleague, he will act with the utmost professionalism and dedication. It is that very dedication that makes him unapproachable on a personal level, especially since he lacks any of the mercy that more idealistic knights such a Keine share. </p><p>He is, basically, the "Lawful Good/Neutral" version of a Bad Cop. Very zealous, but not incline to compromise and very eager to deal with problematic people in a violently permanent fashion. He still has some sense of empathy and kindness, but is not a side their colleagues sees ofte. Also, note that Werther is a good actor, and will put a facade of amiability on the public for the sake of the council reputation. Plus, Magic Council has a somewhat shadier streak: a loyal mastiff can be more useful to them than someone so indipendent as Keine or Skylar, as charismatic they may be. We have seen it is not above black ops operation, and people like Werhter thrive on that field. </p>

<p>While those are good qualities, please note that the Holy Knights have become anal about people having inclinations that remind of Michael, who was extreme in his path to destroy Dark Mages to the point it got out of hand, and he defected, becoming a criminal again.  </p><p>Basically, the idea isn't bad, but it doesn't fit a Holy Knight, who are supposed to be basically ideal, and not shady at all. There's a reason they're unbearably strict about their members. Say what you will about the council "being shady", either going by canon or the typical fanon interpertation, but the Holy Knights aren't meant to be a part of that. I don't want to sound as if I'm policing your idea, but I inevitably am, due to the requirements a Holy Knight needs to meet.  </p><p>Reading what you described raises some red flags akin to Michael, hence why it is an issue. </p>
