<p>The japanese only says the message "Thank you for the support until the end" ends in Ch. 545 (since Hiro's been putting "hidden" parts of it on the Cover), it doesn't EXPLICITLY confirms the series ends. </p>

<p>Alpha, as much as we all know you love to spout your negative options about Fairy Tail, not everyone shares the same opinion as you, so perhaps, in the future, you could phrase your oh so lovely blog posts in a more pleasant way. </p><p>Also, who knows if your "friend" is an accurate source. We do know Fairy Tail is in it's last arc, but the end date is not confirmed by the author. </p>

<p>Nightmare? Hardly. This is the series that's inspiring the vast majority of your Erzafaces, canon characters and arc setups, no? </p><p>Unless your story is a nightmare? </p>

<p>@Queen Friend's Japanese who works as a translator for most of the scanlations you people read, so its a credible source since they buy Shonen Jump magazine every week and has subscription to the latest news concerning this series and other ones currently running. </p><p>Also, can't be helped since all that's ever heard about FT is hentai, shipping and predictable plot points that lead absolutely nowhere. Its like Twilight all over again. The entire fandom is composed of those three components. People mainly read the series for those three points, mainly the shipping: crack, canon, or otheriwse, so you can't chastise me for proclaiming something that's true. </p><p>I know some of you guys like it and that's okay, you have your reasons not putting you down for it, but seriously, even you have to admit that what Hiro's doing is..... sub-par. He can do better, and I'm pretty sure everyone here knows it, given his strings of one shots and Rave Master, which I'm STILL attached to for multiple reasons. He did so well with arcs such as Fantasia and Tower of Heaven, but after Tenrou, you can see the degrading in material. </p><p>@Ash Hey, at least its going somewhere. I mean, better execution and ideas was put forth into most of what I come up with, even if its parodied from another series, that way it has a certain uniqueness to it. I mean, I have to plan things out and see if it fits here and there. Some may be nonsensical, but that's okay if it actually fits in with what you're aiming for. </p>

<p>Also, the source is on Mashima's Twitter as an alternative. When translated, it chronologically states when the manga will finish, which he estimated to be August 2nd. </p><p>So yeah, ANOTHER series with a rushed ending smh. </p>

<p>As I said, you have to refer to the fact he is mainly talking about the message, it's not EXPLICITLY left that the SERIES itself ends. </p><p>Also, rushed? Why's that? It happened at its own pace despite some off-screen things and disappointments (which become null once you're sadly accostumed to it, with many fans clearly not being). PLUS, I don't think a mangaka simply announces his manga is ending, Hiro himself admitted he does most things as he goes on. </p>

<p>Damon, I get that and I'm not ignoring it, but I think he means the series itself (again, going by friend's translation since she's the Japanese expert here). I mean, Hiro has admitted to a lot of things at the ending of the volumes and told his readers the ideas he's had for what he's written, so its not really a stretch for him to make such an announcement. </p><p>Also, its rushes in the fact that Acnologia will probably be either off’d because he's too OP (the man eats all forms of magic; no contest there), or he's gonna get beaten in a way that defies stuff explicitly stated earlier on. Not to mention that there's the possibility of a huge jump in timeskip, where things are left vague and unanswered. This happened in Naruto until the LNs came out and to am extent, Bleach. </p>

<p>He already said that it's the final arc on Volume 60, why would he even just go for the lulz and say that it ends on Ch. X? Well, okay, just ignore it then. </p><p>Hey, at least it makes sense and he is not getting defeated off-screen or in a way deemed as bullshit so people will hate on it. </p>
