Until further notice, please do not create any Fifth Generation Dragon Slayer users or Magic! Likewise, do not create fanon versions of Diabolos! We still have to confirm the full nature of them, and it is best not to run on speculations!

Yes. But I won’t be surprised to see that lower generations can increase their power by eating dragons too. Similar to how Third Generation are just a mix of Generation 1-2.
Well, actually, it was said that by bathing in the dragon's blood, the one can become more powerful. Like, y'know, Acnologia did it that way, so yeah, I think that any generation excluding the fourth one can empower themselves with such method.

They might be Dragon Eaters, but are called Slayers as well as they possess the magic of another race as is how Slayer Magic works. After all they are called the 5th Generation. So while different from gen 1-4, they still are classified as a type of Dragon Slayer. My premise is what is next? Sixth Generation they are taught by a dragon and eats them? If it possible to mix methods like Generation 3 than we could have at least 10 possible generations.

5th Generation Slayers are a completely separate generation.
To those who are unable to grasp the concept still:
1. A "Generation" of Dragon Slayer refers to the way one obtains the ability to properly use Dragon Slayer Magic. First Generation obtain their powers from learning (or being enchanted by) a Dragon, Second Generation obtain powers from a Lacrima, Third Generation are incompletely taught by Dragons and require Lacrima to achieve their proper output, Fourth Generation are "Dragon Slaying Robots" (so-to-speak), and Fifth Generation are those who obtain their powers by eating Dragons in the first place.
A First, (possibly) Second and Third Generation Dragon Slayer can enhance their powers by eating Dragons, in the same vein Acnologia was assumed to do. However, that does not make them a Fifth Generation by default, as they possessed existing Dragon Slaying abilities.
I thought the Third did get taught by the dragons, but with the lacrima, would allow them to acess the Dragon Force at will.

While that may be true, you have to take into consideration that Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney are in the same vein as Wendy Marvell as they didn't finish their training as Dragon Slayers due to their young age at the time. However, Sting and Rogue were able to overcome this detriment due to the years in-between the disappearance of the main cast, acquiring experience and knowledge of how to use their Magic. This doesn't takeaway from the fact that they didn't complete their training and thus must rely on the Lacrima in order to attempt to match the likes of Natsu Dragneel.
