Hello everyone! So it has recently come to my attention that a lot of people are seeing glitches/changes to their coding, particularly regarding the collapsible boxes that are often used in people's sandboxes. Said glitches turn something like this:
Into this:
Which as you can see, defeats the purpose of having the information in a collapsible tab itself.
So, what I found out was that the glitches are caused by the usage of Classic rich-text editor. By using this editor it replaces the coding like this:
As you can see, it adds coding, changes coding, and spaces coding to make the template ineffective. Why it does this? I don't know. But I do have the solution so it stops happening to your articles.
Switch editors.
If you talk to any of the admins, we will all tell you the same thing. Source Editor is easiest and most functional, especially when dealing with collapsible boxes and other coding and templates.
In case you don't know how to switch to source editor, it's pretty simple:
- Scroll up to your avatar/profile
- Click "My Preferences"
- Then the tab "Editing"
You should reach something that looks like this:
Make sure Source Editor is selected. Not Classic or Visual.
