Featured Articles of March 2018 — Nominations

Hello everyone! March's Featured Articles nominations will begin this week, while the voting will take place next week.

Matching last month's themes, for this month our theme is going to be Blue.

For characters, this means your favorite male characters.

For magics, this means any magic or spell that makes you think of Blue, ie, water-based magics and spells, ice-based magics and spells, magics of wisdom, tranquility, or heaven.

Nominations will be from February 19th to February 23th, Voting will be added on February 24th and will carry through February 28th.

Remember, please don't nominate your own articles and try not to repeat nominations!

Featured Articles of February 2018 — Nominations

Hello everyone! It is two weeks until February so we're going to start Featured Articles nominations this week, and voting next week. For the winners of January's featured articles, your pages will still be on the front page until first, however, we're getting nominations and voting started early to make sure February's winners have a full month as well.

So, for characters this month our theme is Pink aka, your favorite female character.

For magics this month, it is Red, a magic that reminds you of red, either in coloration or in theme. Fire, blood, death, anger, etc, are all concepts linked to color red so be creative and have fun!

Nominations will be from January 17th to January 23th, Voting will be added on January 24th and will carry through January 31st.

Featured Articles of January 2018

Hello! With the dawn of a new year and a new admin (me!), we're bringing back Article(s) of the Month.

This is going to be what I'm calling a Lightning Round as there are actually only two days left until January. So, nominations and voting will be swift and decisive! You have until January First to nominate and until January Third to vote.

Without further ado, the theme for Characters this month is going to be Wanderers. The mysterious or lost ones. The independent mages on their own quests. Nominate semi-complete/complete characters that you recognize as fitting the theme of a Wanderer.

For Magic this month I've picked Light. It's sort of contrary to the season, but that is part of the appeal. We all need a little bit of light in the winter. For this, you can either take it literally and nominate magics that incorporate the element of light or more metaphorically to include light of heart magics. This is, of course, discounting canon Light Magic.

Also, due per her request, Per has asked that her articles are discounted from Featured Article Nominations, and as such, will not be counted if nominated.

Featured Article Character and Magic of May 2017

Howdy there everyone. It's been a while since we've done these. It's not because we've forgotten about 'em or anything. It's mostly been a combination of the admins being relatively busy with their own lives and figuring out themes to fit for the specific month. ~~There is also the fact we secretly dread this time of the month.~~ However, there is no need to fear for Arukana is here to help with alleviate this situation! From this point onward, I will be in charge of the Feature Article of the Month. As such, you no longer have to direct your concerns towards any of the other admins from this point on.

Moving onwards, it is time to focus on the this month’s featured character and magic. Thankfully, the themes for May were graciously provided for me by Ash and Liza in order to help ease me into the position. Anyways, the theme for characters will be those of the LGBT+ community as May is often seen as the month in which events resolving around this subject. With the amount of users on the wiki, I'm positive there will be a variety of characters who are LGBT+ and look forward to looking over them.

Regarding Magic, the theme will be the season of spring as May is known for being the final month in which the season takes place. Spring is known for representing the growth, renewal and new life of plants and animals being born. As such, examples which would fit the theme of Spring from a general standpoint would be Healing Magic, Wood-Make, and Weather Magic. Of course, this could also refer to a Magic Item if it was to fit within the theme as well. Nonetheless, this is what the theme(s) for this month will be!

The nomination period will end on May 26th at midnight. Afterwards, the voting period will commence and will last until May 31st at 11:00 pm.
