Acis (エーシス, Ēshisu) is a Mage operating within the Queendom of Sophia. Born into a rigidly patriarchal household, her parents made a herculean effort to mold the woman into a respectable lady. As the only daughter of the house, she was expected to marry well and forge new alliances in this process. Instead, tomboy inclinations fostered by the presence of three older brothers pushed her to run away from home. Acis would eventually enlist in the Saxon army, climbing the ranks slowly before deserting; the outlook of her officers remained clouded by a patriarchal hegemony as they passed over her for less qualified male candidates. She would return following the rise of Queen Adriane; the new queen's most convincing gesture being the elimination of the outgoing royal family and all of its most heartfelt allies. That the new queen was an elf mattered not to Acis; all she saw was someone finally walking the walk and turning status quo on its head. She would ultimately prove her worth to the Queen by taking part in this anti-corruption campaign; becoming part of Tritonia in the process.
