Akel Corentine (アッケア・クオレﾝティネ, Akkea Kuorentine) is a Magic Hunter and the founder of the infamous Magick Shoppe, an organization that specializes in hunting down rare magic and the users of it, capturing both it and its caster and selling the magic off for incredible and at times inflated prices. Founding the organization due to his own desire to acquire the greatest and rarest magics that he could possibly find in the entirety of Earth Land, Akel quickly gained something of an incredible reputation among the variety of less reputable elements in the world, and a variety of criminal organizations and Dark Guilds would often come to see him in order to acquire a massive amount of various hard-to-find and powerful magics. However, as time went on the reputation of his establishment rose bit by bit, he found it harder and harder to acquire the magics that he truly sought. In order to hopefully remedy this potentially breaking problem, Akel came up with the idea of the Bewitching Magic Festival, an event to be set at various famous and massive cities, in the hopes of attracting users of rare magic under the guise of a party celebrating them and their own hard-to-find powers, only for them to be locked in and trapped without much fuss, and their magic quickly extracted and sold shortly thereafter. This done, Akel found that the business began rising again, and made the Festival a regular practice to continue its effects.

He first appears in the story during yet another festival at --- Town, in the continent known as Minstrel, where he ran into not just one or two, but THREE users of incredibly rare or never-before seen magic, specifically Knave Dhahaka, Duncan Valentine, and Erie Reinhardt (with Gopher tagging along). Managing to inquire info about Erie's background via a Clear Note contact, Akel managed to blackmail her into not only turning herself in, but also helping him acquire her other comrades by threating their very lives. With this method, Akel succeeded in luring them into their flying fortress and prepared to capture them. However, the two (along with Gopher) managed to defeat those working under him and attacking him directly. In the end, even Erie, his technical contact, managed to turn against him, and he was eventually defeated by both her and Knave, with the entire group managing to sink the fortress and leave him defeated and without a job. He was later arrested officially by the Magic Council.

He is the main antagonist of the Bewitching Magic Festival Arc in Fairy Tail: Dream.
