Angel Blade (エンジェル ブラド Enjeru Burado) is the strongest mage guild of Pangaea lead by Gerard Warheart. The guild is famous for the power of its core members and their extraordinary feats and the acceptance of everyone despite their status or background.

Building

The guild headquarters has the form of a huge hexagonal, seemingly abandoned building in the center of Lithia Town with blue and gold colors that has four entrances with bridges and three huge floors. Starting from the bottom, there is the guild reception where information can be given and quests can be submitted and taken while there is the quest bullet board near it where given quests are displayed while finally, there is a bar and tavern for the guild members to eat and drink. The second floor is much bigger, with it having both the guild's library which, like the exterior of the guild, is filled with plantlife that is in fact a part of it while on the other side are the male and female dormitories that each has its own bath. On the top there is the master's room and the meeting room where he and the S-class mages take decisions. Finally, beneath the guild, there is a big arena for training that also has magic dolls.

Special Events

S-class Promotion Trial

Angel Blade's S-Class Mage Promotional Trial is an event that is held every year, where the Master makes his selected candidates to participate in a trial in order to be promoted to S-Class Mages. The trial is different each year but those known so far are:

• Retrieval of Sea Serpent eggs.

• Spending one night at Nether Forest.

• Retrieval of a Raiju fang,

• Treasure Hunting.

Most of these trials are supervised by the S-class mages of the guild who can even try to prevent members from clearing them.

Angel Blade Beauty Pageant

As a way to both welcome and wish for a wonderful year, the guild has a beauty pageant for both the male and female members. The women mostly compete in various clothing,quiz and talent display and the one that gathers the most points wins 10.000 gaias, an amount that is also gathered by the bets of the spectators. On the other hand, the men compete in sports, talent display and quiz, with the winner also winning 10.000 gaias. Hecate Inanis and Autolycus Ulysses were the winners last year.

Angel Blade Exhibition

In order to come closer to the people and to prove that they are not only machines of war, the guild has every last day of January an artistic contest where the members create a piece of art with their own hands or even via their magic, with their art pieces being later on exhibit for the people to see. Ouranos Khaos was the winner last year.

Valhalla Feast

Once every first of June, the guild has the Valhalla Feast, an eating contest taking place at the town's center where whoever eats the most dishes is the winner. The event is also sponsored by the town's taverns and the winner receives a ticket that allows them to eat for free for the whole year as long as they have five dishes or more. The winner last year was Hecate Inanis.

Einherjar

The Angel Blade guild has every twelfth of December the Einherjar, a tournament between members to display and promote growth. There are two divisions: the Soldier Division where the non S-class members participate and the General Division where the S-class mages participate and the winner of the Soldier Division has the right to challenge the General Division's winner while they have the right to participate in the next S-class promotion trial. The previous Soldier Division winner was Roland Blade while the previous General Division winner was Jason Foxear.

Leaving Angel Blade

While leaving the guild on one's own accord is rare, unless expelled, the guild has a handful of rules for that situation.

1. You can not share sensitive information with anyone about Angel Blade, it's members, or any of the data stored within the guild's library.
2. You may not contact past employers for work or information; unless they request you specifically.
3. You can not badmouth the guild or spread falsehoods about it.
4. Although you are no longer part of the guild, we wish that you would uphold the guild's values of justice and acceptance, and keep following the path you believe in and fight for what is right.
5. No matter how much time passes, Angel Blade will welcome you back with open arms.

Equipment

• Magic Dolls: The guild possesses knight armor like dolls powered by lacrima that are used for labor, chores and even training.
• Magic Cannons: The guild possesses cannons that fire pure magic energy. They are used for protecting the guild against enemy attacks.
• Ship: The guild possesses its own ship that is used for sea travels.
• Barrier Lacrima: The guild possesses numerous lacrima that can create barriers. The guild usually utilizes them to protect the city from disasters.

• The guild's mark is based on Ruler Jeanne D'arc's command spells from Fate/Apocrypha.
• In Norse mythology, the einherjar (Old Norse literally "army of one", "those who fight alone") are those who have died in battle and are brought to Valhalla by valkyries.The einherjar prepare daily for the events of Ragnarök, when they will advance for an immense battle at the field of Vígríðr.
• In Norse mythology, Valhalla (/vælˈhælə, vɑːlˈhɑːlə/; from Old Norse: Valhǫll "hall of the slain") is a majestic, enormous hall located in Asgard, ruled over by the god Odin. Chosen by Odin, half of those who die in combat travel to Valhalla upon death, led by valkyries, while the other half go to the goddess Freyja's field Fólkvangr. In Valhalla, the dead warriors join the masses of those who have died in combat (known as the Einherjar) and various legendary Germanic heroes and kings, as they prepare to aid Odin during the events of Ragnarök.
