Arc of Impalement is a Lost Magic That allows the caster to manipulate and summon any item used for the purpose of impaling such as spears, lances, stakes, etc with in a area set by the caster

Description[]

Designed by a executioner turned king from a ancient far away country to kill people, this magic is said to grant the user the "Concept of impalement"

This magic grants the user the ability to summon stakes, spears and other polearms within range of the user and inside a set area set by the user beforehand though this takes time and magic to set up. The size of the set area that the impalement objects can be summoned in and how many Pointy things that can be summoned increases the more the caster masters this magic along with how fast the Impalement objects can be summoned. And after being summoned the stakes and spears remain out permanently allowing others to use them as they see fit.

The strength and amount of stakes and polearms that can be summoned depends on the casters magic power and what type of impalement object they are summoning with stakes being the weakest but least in magic cost and spears and other types of polearms being the strongest but cost the most magic to use. The highest amount of stakes ever summoned at once were by the original creator and user and totaled over 20,000 stakes with each one having a person attached to it, though that did use up most of his magic, compared to the later user who has a max of 200 stakes. The size of the stakes and polearms summoned can range from the size of a pencil to the size of a 10 story building.

While the stakes can pierce through the bodies of most people like a hot knife through butter, they have a tougher time piercing through armor with heavy armor being impervious to the stakes under normal situations. However the caster can use more of their magic to strengthen the stakes at the cost of them being slower to summon and being able to summon less of them though the cost of strengthening them is less then the cost of summoning polearms and as the caster masters this magic and gets stronger, the strength of the regular stakes increases so that boosting the stakes becomes less of a need.

The stakes can be summoned from almost any surface like the ground or the celling and walls and even from stakes summoned by this magic already though that is an advanced technique. And by using a special spell the stakes can even be summoned from INSIDE their own body with no side effects done to them.

And despite the stakes purpose to kill, they are durable enough to be used for defense as well as they can block attacks from even the strongest mages though enough force can break the stakes. The stakes can even be used in utility as ladders, hangers or foot holds. Combine enough of the stakes and one could even form a bridge made of stakes. And a master of this magic can cause the stakes to fly out of the ground and into the sky and be able to have them move even throughout the air as the caster controls them.

Now the spears and polearms that can be summoned by this magic are a different beast. As noted earlier the polearms are the stronger option of the two options at the cost of being the heaviest in magic cost but to compensate for their lack of utility, defense and cost usage, they have a few tricks of their own.

For one, the spears and polearms all do extra damage based on how many sins the target has committed in addition to the obvious damage of being impaled. In addition, if the user wields one the polearms summoned as a normal weapon and manages to stab them the caster can then cast a spell to summon stakes and spears from inside their body, dealing internal damage to them and bypassing any armor they may have, though this is a very advanced technique and takes quite a bit of magic.

Despite all this magics power, there are a few weaknesses. For one to summon the stakes and spears from other places other than then from their own body, the caster must create a special seal that creates a boundary that allows the impalement objects to be summoned and they must remain in that area or they will not be able to summon the Pointy objects. And the seal can be destroyed and creation of the seal takes time and a lot of magic to use and to create the impalement objects the caster must see where they are being created.
