Arc of Gaea (形式のガイア: Keishiki no Gaia) is an ancient magic that falls under the categories of lost, caster, and lastly, elemental magic. It gives the user control over the aspect of Gaea, or Mother Earth as she is called in mythology, allowing the user to control earth based elements.
Overview[]
As stated above, Arc of Gaea is a caster type lost magic that allows the user to control the elements of the earth. This includes, the ground beneath them, metals found in the ground, plant life, and even the use of healing abilities. This magic does not grant the use of other magical elements due to the primary creation of this magic to be perfect control over the earth itself, and as fire and water were created by gods the planet itself was originally rocks and metal.
Once this magic has been achieved the user undergoes a physical change as the magic itself takes natural energy from the earth around it to achieve its power. For this, it changes the users magical origin to accommodate the use of multiple earth based elements either in quick succession or at the same time. As well as this, the user is unable to learn other magic's as the magic itself encompasses various powers and abilities.
When the magic is in use, as stated above, it grants the user complete control over Gaea. This, in essence is the control over elements that can be found in the Earth, this ranges from the ground itself, to plants, and metals. However, the main focus of this magic is earth/ground/rock, the various other effects were born when the magic was created. Thus there are restriction for how much control over them the user has. When it comes to metals, the user must be in direct contact with them and cannot create the metals, as well as this, the user can only manipulate the exact amount of metal they have, no more and no less. When it comes to plants, the user must be within a 20 foot radius of the plant-life they are trying to manipulate. And in a similar sense to the metals drawback, they cannot create plants, only manipulate those around them.
When it comes to earth however, the user has complete control over it. Capable of manipulating it into whatever they deem fit, and shaping the ground around them to their liking. In addition to this, the earth and other abilities the user can control with this magic are unable to be consumed by slayers of any kind.
