Aria of the Highest Order (敬最高天の宗教賛美歌(アリア·オフ·ザ·ハイエスト·オーダー), Aria Ovu Za Haiesuto Oudā; lit. "Sacred Hymns of the Divine Plain") is one of the supportive members of the Ancient Magics of the Thirteen Otherworldly Virtues, designed to have little to no offensive capabilities; this was mainly due to its designation as the Healing (平和, Heiwa), a representation of the Supreme God's capabilities of restoring all things destroyed by his or other's hands. It's one of the few magics that's exclusive to a race, in this case — Angels, the divine servants of the Gods and Bosatsu, and beings who're created personally by the Supreme God during the universe's conception.

It's a Caster Magic and an Ancient Spell — preceding nearly all other forms outside its group; it's also counted as a Subspecies Magic, inducing the principles of Healing Magic, Light Magic, and Sound Magic for functionality — all of which culminates in various hymns being created in response.

The current and only user is Muriel Hollister, a former Archangel who lives in Earthland after the loss of her powers some time before the beginning of the storyline; her skillful usage in both her Human form and Angel form has earned her the epithet, "Serene Voice of the Heavenly Hosts" (天軍の静穏声, Tengun no Seionsei). As this is the greatest form of healing known to the Heroic Chronicles series, she's technically the "greatest healer" by default — capable of curing all wounds and diseases, regardless of the degree of severity or foreign.

Trivia

• This was inspired by Per's rendition of Song Magic, which the author finds to be well-written for a simple concept; this led to him looking up hymns, which are associated with Christianity, being a commonplace way of worshiping. Since Muriel is an Angel, it would only make sense for her to have such a magic, further alluding to her origins as a divine messenger.
