Aster Wild (アスターワイルド Asutāwairudo) is a dark mage of the ever elusive Dark Guild, Phoenix Rising. She works directly under Mao, who is one of the four generals of The Rising Order, following all his commands, making sure the duties of the dark guild are being fulfilled by the many guilds under Phoenix Rising's Subjugation.

Personality[]

Aster is not inherently bad and in fact, she hates being a dark mage, working for some of the cruelest monsters imaginable. She at this point though, doesn't have a choice or at least that is what she keeps telling herself. She joined, or more precisely, she was recruited to the Phoenix Rising guild by Mao in order to save her sister who had Possession Magic cast upon her. Aster loves her sister more than anything in the world and is perfectly able of committing such atrocities for her sake. She has an adamant will that keeps her moving forward until the day she can free her sister. Aster knows full well someday she will have to pay for her crimes as it is something that always lingers within her thoughts, but it has never slowed her down.

Just like her partner, Aster hates conflict and when possible will avoid it. Though she can get aggressive rather quickly when provoked or when there is no way around a fight, specially if it involves her sister. She is a cautious fighter and usually will not show her true abilities until she observes her opponents for a little while. Though it does not mean she can be taken lightly, as her two revolvers that she always carries with her, have more often than not proven to be more than enough to finish the job. She, unlike her guild mates, has shown mercy to many of her enemies and even preventing her partner from killing at times.

Magic and Abilities[]

Incredible Speed and Reflex: Even before joining her dark guild, Aster was not someone to take lightly. She has trained her legs to such an extent that she can dash about in instances. Moving from one place to another in a blink of an eye. While she can't do this over long distances, it still has become a deadly weapon for mages who are unable to keep up. She uses her amazing dash to get close,land a hit, then retreat which has worked many of times, confusing or aggravating her opponents. Her speed matched only by her quick-drawing skills, as she is able to conceal and draw her weapons so fast most people can't follow her hands. Though admittedly it doesn't come in handy too often, as she will usually always have her weapons drawn during battle. Though the same cannot be said about her quick firing skills, as she is able to shoot so fast that sometimes, six shots will look like one to the common spectator. This comes in handy when tricking her opponents or having multiple targets, making it look like she shot them all at the same time. This has allowed her to create more unorthodox attacks, that will often leave her opponents wondering what happened.

Aster also has incredible reflexes that lets her react to attacks or the environment at a moments notice, which helps in dodging incoming attacks or getting an advantage over enemies by dodging at the last possible second and then following up with an attack of her own. Her body is quite nimble and can twist and turn in various ways, giving her a means to always be on the offensive. Being an expert marksmen, she can shoot her weapons from almost any position almost always hitting the target.

Guns Magic[]

Guns Magic() Is a Holder Magic that allows Aster to shoot magical bullets with varying affects.

Grenade Magic[]

Grenade Magic (グレネードマジックGurenēdomajikku) grants Aster the ability to create grenades of varying effects and shape even to that of gun clips, which she is able to combine with her numerous guns. The effects of the grenades change depending on the type of magic used to create each grenade. The Grenades can be created from the Aster's magic or the ambient Eternano, which results in a standard grenade capable of destroying large boulders easily or damaging anyone within the blast radius greatly. The grenades can also be created, by having Aster gather energy from the surrounding elements, which allows them to conjure grenades with the respective element gathered like such things as flash grenades from light, concussive grenades from wind or fire grenades from fire and etc. She is also able to gather the lingering magic that secrete from mages within the area or their spells, making this even more impressive and deadly during battle. This though does not mean that Aster is capable of slayer properties when gathering magic from slayer or their spells. All it will do is create the elemental grenade with a larger boost in power then regular means. The amount and power of each grenade created largely depends on the magic of Aster, which is quite large and powerful allowing her to create many at one time, though adding the elements or lingering magic does increase its power. There is a limit to the elements used though, as Aster cannot alter them, meaning she can't increase or decrease their temperature or change them drastically. They will take the properties of what ever she used And although Aster can create Gravity Grenades, she cannot cause it to create a black hole like most Gravity mages can. Not even when using the magic of Gravity mages as the grenades do have some limits.There are also different types or responses of grenades Aster is able to create ranging from bouncing, sticky or splitting grenade though it is not limited to those as there is many more variations. Once the grenade has been created, it cannot be altered, with the exception of the timer or added type. Also, once a grenade detonates, Aster cannot dispell it or change it. This also means that the grenades can become dangerous to Aster herself if she is caught within it's range as it will damage any and all indiscriminately. Though thanks to her dashing speed, she can clear a grenades radius effectively.

Types []

This are the different types of grenades that can be created by this magic's user. Once a grenade has been made it cannot be completely altered to a different type, but it can be given a secondary or third type after being created. Each of these types have varying affects depending on the magic used for each grenade. All the grenades are capable of devastating damage and even more so when enough magic is pact into them. The more magic gathered within each the bigger the force and blast radius it will be. Though stronger grenades do take longer to create.

Standard(標準 Hyōjun): This grenade is the standard form and will explode five seconds after being thrown. Though unlike regular grenades, this doesn't have a pin that needs to be pulled. Being made from the users magic, it will detonate five seconds after leaving their hands. Though the user is able to alter the timer of the grenade as they wish,from three seconds up to fifteen seconds.

Sensor Grenade(センサーの手榴弾 Sensā no shuryūdan): This grenade works with a sort of sensory device that when it detects movement nearby it will detonate. This can work for setting traps. They can work much like a land mine when hiding them beneath the ground or placing them near objects or doors. This is possible do to the fact the grenade has multiple spikes extending out from the grenade, which allows it to stick or jam into almost any object or place.

Bouncing Grenade(跳ねるグレネード Haneru gurenēdo): This grenade is given the ability to bounce before exploding. It will not explode until making contact with a living being or the timer runs out. This grenade is not only unique with it's bouncing abilities, but it will not explode when the user of this magic hits it or touches it. Giving the user multiple ways of throwing this grenade.

Burst Grenade(バーストグレネード Bāsutogurenēdo): This grenade will burst when exploding, releasing around 1000 tiny rubber balls. This grenade mostly used for crowd control or attacking a large group. While the tiny rubber balls don't explode, the force from each one is strong enough to knockout an average person.

Rising Grenade(上昇するグレネード Jōshō suru gurenēdo): This grenade will shoot straight upward when it begins to detonate. Once it gains a little distance or rises a few feet of the ground, it will explode releasing a grenades in a full circle, which then will explode when making contact with anything.

Split Grenade(スプリットグレネード Supurittogurenēdo): This grenade will split into four grenades when it first hits the ground or any object. The four grenades then will explode when making contact with anything.

Needle Grenade(ニードルグレネード Nīdorugurenēdo): This grenade will release hundreds of tiny needles forward when it explodes. This is a unique grenade as the front part or where the needles are released, the grenade is painted with a smiley face. Which allows the user or anyone know where the needles will appear from. This grenade will only release the needles after a set time of three seconds after the user releases the grenade. During this short time the grenade can be hit without any problem of pre-maturely detonating it as it is actually quite durable.

Implosion Grenade(インプランシオングレネード Inpuranshiongurenēdo): This grenade works by first creating an explosion, then shortly after a massive force that draws everything around it, towards the explosion eventually collapsing on itself. While this Implosion only lasts three seconds, it is still enough time to cause major damage to those caught in it. The force that draws everything in, is so strong it will at times even break the ground or even cause a whole building to collapse.

Requip[]

Requip Magic() is a Caster and Spatial Type of Magic that allows Aster to store weapons and armors in a pocket dimension that is only accessible to Aster. While this spatial pocket does have a limit on how many things Aster can store, it has become a n incredible tool that allows her access to her weapons at anytime and almost anywhere. With this magic, Aster is given access to the different types of Requip Magic, which are The Knight and The Gunner, which as previously stated, allow Aster to store her various guns and armor within a dimensional pockets to access them at her convenience. Especially during battle.

The Tactician[]

The Tactician (戦術家 Senjutsu-kais) an armor in Aster's arsenal that increases her speed greatly.This do to the fact that the belt she wears around her waist has a powerful thruster or jets attached to it. This thruster increases her already impressive speed several times and it grants her the ability of flight. Though she usually uses it in a way that she is gliding around, a few inches above the ground. This armor is incredibly light weight as is it more clothing than armor, though it is infused with some magic, that grants her a large resistance to Wind Magic. While her clothing changes from the norm, so does her hair, which is do to her Hair Magic that

Aster possesses. Along with this form comes several weapons. The first being her handgun that shoots ricocheting bullets. That get stronger the more they bounce around. Her belt that has the thrusters attached to it, also have multiple pockets where different gadgets are stored. Some of them being multiple lacrimas that when hit with the ricocheting bullets, will explode, though the explosions are not too large, but they are strong enough to destroy flesh and bone. Another Item within the pockets is multiple small throwing knifes with small wind lacrimas embedded into them. Which allows the knife to fly faster and farther. When the knife is hit with the ricocheting bullet, it will of course change its course depending on how it was hit, but it will also cause the knife to release numerous wind blades in all directions. Another useful weapon,is the small light device attached near the end of Aster's long braided hair. This light device is capable of releasing a blinding flash whenever Aster wishes, blinding her foes momentarily. On her left left on the side of the shin and on her thigh, are knife holsters that have small blades that Aster uses while in close combat or throwing at her foes. These blades being part of her armor can be recalled at anytime giving Aster the ability to use them over and over, no matter how many times she throws them. 

  • Ricocheting Bullet(リコチェッティングブレット Rikochettinguburetto): Aster is able to shoot bullets that ricochet or bounce off objects. They can bounce off almost anything and the more a single bullet ricochets, the stronger the bullet will become.While a bullet with no bounces can shatter bones, These bullets are capable of tearing steel apart if given ample time to power-up. These bullets will not damage Aster or any of her equipment as they are infuse with her magic. Which also gives Aster a chance to attack without having to worry about getting hurt by her own attack.
  • Peek-A-Boo(ピック・ア・ブー Pikku a bū): Aster uses the light device attached to her hair to give off a blinding light that will temporarily blind her foes. Since this device is attached to her hair, it is also protected by the thin magical barrier surrounding her hair at all times, making it harder to destroy the device, though it is already very durable on its own. In fact, Aster has used it as a blunt object that she can whip around and hit her opponents with, without causing any malfunctions to the device.

Lighting Lady(ライティングレディ Raitinguredi) Requip is an electricity based armor in Aster's arsenal. This requip grants Aster a large resistance to all lighting based magic. Like her other Requip's ,this changes her clothing and hair. Along with this requip comes a shotgun,capable of shooting electric bullets, though much like a shot gun, the numerous bullets shoot out in a scattered form, capable of piercing anything in multiple areas. Though Aster is also able to shoot a beam of electricity as well for more concentrated damage. Aster's clothing give off strong static shocks that will electrocute any who get too close. This also works in deflecting attacks or minimizing damage. Aster can also use her glove that is on her right hand to release powerful surges of electricity. That can be formed into projectiles or lighting bolts. Which she can also use to destroy incoming attacks. This form grants Aster great defensive capabilities as the electricity surrounding her can be used in many ways. This Requip also has another unique gun that is a twelve barreled hand gun, that is also embedded with lighting lacrimas. This hand gun attaches itself around the hand of Aster.It fires the lighting bullets as if it were a high-powered machine gun, which also causes devastating damage.

  • Electric Bullet(電撃弾 Dengeki-dan): Aster using the glove on her right hand, can fire off multiple projectiles of electricity at extreme speeds. The electric bullets not only damage her foes, but it also has the chance of paralyzing them temporarily. Giving Aster enough time to finish them off with another attack or stronger spells. This electric bullet can also be fired off in pairs of three for a more devastating effect.
  • Wolf Pack(オオカミの群れ Ōkami no mure): Aster, using her shotgun, fires multiple bullets of electricity that take the form of wolf heads. These wolf heads take off at very high speeds and in a zig-zag motion as if they were lighting bolts. They will cause major damage and tear the ground as they travel. This spell is capable of burning common people  to a crisp if they were to get hit. This spell can be fired in a consecutive manner as most of the magic comes from the several lightning lacrimas embedded into the shotgun.

  • Unending Delight(): This spell uses the twelve barreled handgun to release a long barrage of lighting bullets.

     This handgun is actually light-weight and can be easily shifted to change targets and direction while firing. This spell releases the bullets in either a liner fashion or scattered form, which covers a much larger range. This spell can last for fifteen seconds before the gun has to stop and cool down, which makes it unusable for five seconds. The amounts of bullets released is similar to that of a Gatling gun, though the power of this spell is diluted greatly in order to not drain her magic at a rapid pace. This spell though is still very effective and can destroy multiple large buildings or take out large groups of mages.

Mad Bomber[]

This Requip, called Mad Bomber, grants Aster a massive resistance to fire and explosive magic. A unique ability of this Ex-equip is that it is able to change the behavior of her exploding bullets. Meaning it can causes Aster's exploding bullets to fire explosions in certain directions rather then the explosion going everywhere. Accompanying this Ex-equip is not only a change of clothing or hair, but a unique gun that releases explosive bullets. These bullets cause small explosions when they make contact. They are strong enough to tear steel apart when enough bullets have been fired. Do to the heightened resistance to explosives, Aster is able to stand pretty close to her attacks without receiving any damage. This is possible do to the fact that her clothing absorb small amounts of an explosion and then feeds it back into her gun. Her gun releases two bullets at once, though it can also be changed to shoot only one at a time. Her gun is also extremely resistant to explosives which help when the gun takes the form of a baton. Which is another ability this gun can perform. While in baton form, the tip can release small explosions that will cause severe damage if hit. She uses this form when fighting close range or during her hit and run fighting style.

Blue Thunder []

Requip: Blue Thunder

Is another Ex-quip that has the power of ligtning magic and light magic. Which give her a giant resistance to both magic. Though that is not the only unique aspect of this armor, as it can also shoot photon beams from the device on her head and photon bullets from her gun. Though the photon bullets are rather strange as they shoot in x shape rather than regular bullet form. These bullets are capable of burning through almost any material including flesh, should the target not have sufficient means to defend. These bullets are created by absorbing light through her gun, which then proceed to break down the light and then releasing the energy. Her Eyepatch also has a device that does the same thing though the device is attached to the side of her head, which is able to release powerful photon beams. Becuase the process does take time and is not instant, Aster has a sash on her lower back, that stores the energy accumulated allowing the gun and device to access it when needed, allowing Aster to shoot her bullets and beams reletively fast. Do to the magic or energy always surrounding Aster, she also gets a boost in speed that lets her move around in a blink of an eye.

Sun Lady() Is an ex-quip that draws magic from the rays of the sun allowing her to emit a strong heat capable of melting rock or when enough is gathered it could even melt steel. This also garners her clothing that protect her from intense heat and fire magic while also using the heat to grant her increased physical and magical capabilities.

This ex-quip is accompanied by a gun that has three small blades attached under the barrel that are incredibly sharp capable of cutting through flesh and bone, plus the added affect of being so hot that when it cuts it also cauterizes the wound as well. This gun releases heat bullets that will cause severe burns when making contact. Attached to her blade is a long chain that has the other end wrapped around Aster's free hand. This enables her to use her gun in many unorthodox ways. This chain is also capable of producing waves of heat, That Aster is able to use at close range to burn her victims.

Slowing Magic

Slowing Magic() is a Caster Type Magic that allows Aster to slow down time or at least the perception of time of her opponents. This causes her opponents to have delayed reactions, giving Aster ample time to counter all their attacks or attack before being seen. This specially helps in fooling those with skills that allow them to follow attacks by reading the opponents body language or direction of attacks. Since they are unable to properly percive said attacks. This magic though does have a range and anything outside this range is unaffected and will remain moving at regular speeds, but to the one affected by this magic, they will seem to be moving really fast.  Anything that entered the affected area after the magic was cast, will be unaffected when entering retaining their regular speeds.

  • Time Bullet: Once the magic has been cast, Aster can shoot bullets of her Slowing magic to further disrupt the perception of her opponents or to affect new opposing enemies that enter after the spell has been cast. This allows her to affect new threats that have entered after her magic was cast. This can also be created by her Grenade Magic, which she is able to create a grenade of her Slowing Magic with a larger range of infection than her bullet. This she calls Time Grenade.

Hair Magic

Hair magic is a Caster Type Magic that involves the manipulation of hair, which grants Aster the ability to extend or transform her into various attacks. While Aster usually uses this magic to just change her hair during her ex-equip armors, she is able to fling it around or stab her unsuspecting foes with it. Her hair is strong enough to break through the ground and resurface elsewhere for long ranged attacks including wrapping around her enemies. Aster can also increase the heat her hair generates being able to set it ablaze for burning her aggressors. Her hair is usually protected by a thin veil of magic, which protects her from the heat and other magical attacks. Aster has mastered this magic to the extend if shaping her hair into blades, Shields and large spikes. While her hair can be cut, it will only take a few seconds for it to grow back as long as she can exude her magic.


Equipment[]

Guns: These are the various gun's in Aster's arsenal that she is able to use with all her Ex-equip armors or her normal attire. She can take out multiple weapons at once. Each weapon has a special or unique bullet for each gun, but all of them are able to fire different kinds of magical bullets, Do to the aid of Aster's Guns Magic.

  • Blue and Mary(): These are her two revolvers that she always carries around with her. While she can store them in her dimensional pocket, she rarely does so. These revolvers use her magic to fire powerful piercing rounds that can shatter through walls leaving large holes. While she can shoot six bullets from each revolver, being magical and all, they don't ever have to be reloaded and can continue firing aslong as Aster keeps feeding her magic into them. These revolvers also have two types of magic bullets; Ice and Heat, which Aster can switch between them almost instantly. The left one Blue having the ice lacrima imbedded inside whiel Mary has the Fire lacrima inside.
  • Ricochet: Like its name implies, This gun has bullets that ricochet or bounce. The unique thing about this magical bullets is the fact that each time the bullet ricochets, it gets stronger and stronger the more it does. It can get so strong that one bullet can demolish whole buildings. Though it does take quite a few bounces to do so. This gun also has a Light Lacrima imbedded inside that when used, will fire short beams of light. This plus the added ability of Ricochet, the Light Bullets are also able to bounce of objects leaving severe burns, though unfortunately they do not get stronger as they bounce and they disappear after five bounces.
  • Spitter: This is her assualt rifle that is capable of firing at a high-rate of speed able to pierce people, leaving them riddled with holes. Unlike her other weapons, Temper does not have a lacrima imbedded inside with a special characteristic.
  • Temper: This is her Shotgun that fires Electric bullets capable of burning her targets to a crisp or paralyzing them momentarily, depending on the output of each bullet. This shotgun can shoot much like regular shotguns do, causing major damage up close do to the shot being being scattered damaging anyone in multiple places or blowing off whole chunks. It can also shoot a concentrated beam of Electricity for a more concentrated release over long distances. This is also one of her weapons she prefers to use when sniping
  • One-Shot: This is Aster's Sniper that is capable of piercing through steel easily.

    It will leave a large hole where it penetrated. This powerful sniper is capable of removing large chunks from people when it connects, especially those that have no means to defend themselves. This is also the gun that Aster perfers to shoot through shields or when fighting over long distances. Though thinking that getting close will do you any good is a foolish idea, as this sniper has a small grenade launcher attached at the bottom of if that is capable causing major destruction. Unfortunately though, this grenade launcher cannot be fed magical bullets directly and infact it can only be inserted cylindrical grenades made from Aster's Grenade Magic. Depending on the angle of the shot, the grenade launcher can cover a long distance.

    Gun: Demolisher

    This is Aster's heavy duty gatling gun that has two missil launchers that launch up to Eight missils each. A small four-barraled rotating gatling gun near her left shoulder that releases magic bullets at high speeds. A large Photon gun with another gatling gun underth it that release a photon beam and photon bullets. A large rocket lancher on her right shoulder and a large gatling gun on her right side that is actually three rotating gatling guns into one. This massive creation is Aster's strongest weapon capable of leveling a large village leaving nothing but rubble.  While one may thing that this kind of machine requires lots of energy or magic from Aster, it actually has numerous lacrimas attached to a backpack that is attached to her back. These lacrimas absorb the ambient Eternano for most the magic required to activate this massive machine. Though Aster does feed it her own as well, specially when she wants to feed it her magical bullets. This monstrosity of a machine is very heavy, though it has jets under and to the side of it that allow Aster ot move around without strain. While this machine can release a near inescapable barrage, it can also shoot the guns off in sequence specially useful to not let the guns overheat. As they will over heat when fired constantly over the period of three minutes, though thanks to Aster shooting in short bursts, this rarely happens.
  • Sunny: This magnum can only be used with her Sun Lady or Mad Bomber Ex-equip, as it generates a powerful heat that only these armors are capable of resisting. This gun has three spikes attached beneath the barrel of the gun and a long chain attached to the bottom of the gun. This chain generates a powerful heat, that can also be used in her attack by simply spinning or tossing it around, as it can release a concentrated wave of heat, that will burn her targets greatly or at the very least hit them with great force. Sunny can be used in many ways thanks to the chain and the blades attached to it, making it one of her more deadlier weapons. It is created from durable material that grants the gun an incredible endurance being capable of surviving an explosion without a scratch or even blocking or cutting many magical attacks.

S.O.L[]

Self Operating Lackey or better known as Sol is a unique shield that accompanies Aster during battle. While it sometimes is stored in her dimensional pocket, it is mostly floating by her side, deterring anything that might hope to harm Aster. This uniquely crafted shield has multiple lacrimas that give it, its near miraculous blocking abilities and several other abilities. Like any mage, this shield slowly regains its magic overtime. What is even more special about this shield is the fact that it acts with a will of its own, even going as far as changing facial expressions depending on the mood. This do to the fact that the front of the shield it has painted on a large smiley face, that like stated before can change depending on it's mood or the ambiance. This shield is always floating and has a streak of electricity around it at all times. It will also create a small streak of this electricity where ever it travels though it is quite short and doesn't last long. Sol can block incoming attacks, ram into people and release a shock of electricity for more damage. Its mouth can also open to reveal to small barrels that release a stream of fire. Sol is incredibly fast and has sharp metal blades on its side that can cut through rock when it spins rapidly. Aster is not sure who or how Sol came to be, but it does not change the fact it is her reliable companion.
