The Black Sun is a very powerful magic that revolves around the use of extremely concentrated magical power exerted within a specific circumference in order to isolate a certain spatial region. The isolation of this spatial region, while still occupying oxygen and other necessary elements needed for survival, actually allows for the interaction of the fourth dimension to be possible through a unique magical frequency. Despite consuming a considerable level of magical power, the dimensional properties of the Black Sun provide Alastor the avenue to use Replacement Magic with much more ease. Furthermore, he may manipulate the shape and size of this dimension to suit his liking, even using it offensively and defensively to ultimately obliterate his opponents.
