Boreas Skadi (ボリアス スケーディ Boriasu Sukeedi) was a member of a now deceased monk order slain by Zelretch Kenos in order to one day conquer Pangaea, with him now having him and Alfred as his primary targets upon learning the truth. He utilizes Ice Dragon Slayer Magic (DeathGr) via teachings from the lingering soul of the Ice Dragon King, Pagyranus, which makes him a First Generation Dragon Slayer.

Boreas is a teen with black eyes and long, light, turquoise blue spiky hair. He wears a black headband, black vest, black shorts, black gloves, and black boots, with a blue lining, all with red wave like markings. He also wears an open sleeveless jacket with blue lining and blue wave patterns. He has black shorts tied with a white band.
Personality[]
When he was a child, Boreas was a cheerful and sweet boy, surrounded by friends that he would defend no matter what. When he was adopted by his previous monk order after his village was lost by a plague, he became more mature and serious while retaining kindness. However, once said monk order was destroyed, he became vengeful and full of anger while he became uncaring for the lives of those considered evil. Despite his lone nature, a trait created by his internal fear of connecting with others in order to not be hurt by their loss, his true need of being with others makes him bond with others easily and greatly as he did with Roxanne and all her friends.
Magic & Abilities[]
Immense Magic Power: As a dragon slayer that has received very hard training since he was young, Boreas possesses incredible amounts of magic power. When he releases it, those near him feel cold while anything near him begins freezing the more his aura is released. His magic power rivals that of Agni's own in base form, with both being considered the two strongest dragon slayers Roxanne and her friends have met at the time, while he has enough magic power to use many of his spells a lot of times. When he unlocks and enters his Ice Dragon King Mode, his magic power reaches Sorcery Lord levels and surpasses that of all the dragon slayers Roxanne and her friends ever met and even Alfred's own.
Enhanced Senses: As a dragon slayer, Boreas possesses incredible senses like hearing and smell, being able to smell someone hiding in a pile of snow
Ice and Cold Immunity: As an ice dragon slayer, Boreas is immune to ice magic and cold temperatures, with the prior powering him up and healing him while the latter can rejuvenate him.

Ice Dragon Slayer Magic[]
Ice Dragon Slayer Magic (氷の滅竜魔法 Hyō no Metsuryū Mahō) is a Caster Magic, Lost Magic, and a type of Dragon Slayer Magic that allows Boreas to utilize the element of ice.
Description
A Magic which allows Boreas to incorporate the element of Ice into his body, gaining exclusive characteristics that are commonly associated with Ice Dragons such as immunity to cold and the power to freeze anything he comes in contact with. Boreas can create numerous constructs from ice in a similar way to Ice-Make but much faster and without any complex stance while anything his constructs and spells hit or even touch in some occasions, will be rapidly frozen until they are fully encased in ice, however, as an expert user, Boreas can freeze things and people with a mere touch or release of magic energy. Boreas can consume natural ice along with the one produced by Ice-Make and Ice Magic in order to power up himself while cold climates can relieve to a lesser extend his sense of fatigue while he can draw power from them to boost the power of his spells and at the height of his power and emotional state, he can influence the weather, turning it into cold and cloudy. Boreas is one of the few First Generation of Dragon Slayers in his guild, having learned his magic by an enchanted tablet that held part of the soul of Pagyranus, the Ice Dragon King who entrusted said tablet to the family ancestors of Boreas' family with the vow of allowing only one who will manifest an affinity for Ice Magic to touch. This magic has a weakness to slayer magic of the fire element, with them being able to melt the ice he generates.

Spells
- Ice Dragon's Roar (氷竜の咆哮 Hyōryū no Hōkō): Boreas gathers magic power in his mouth and releases a tornado of ice shards that can inflict blunt damage and cut or pierce targets, causing gradual freezing.
- Ice Dragon's Fist (氷竜の拳 Hyōryū no Ken): Boreas gathers magic power in his fist and engulfs it in ice, hitting the target with enhanced damage while also freezing a little the struck part.
- Ice Dragon's Crushing Fang (氷竜の砕牙 Hyōryū no Saiga): Boreas gathers magic power in his hand and covers it in ice before swinging it in an arc, striking the target with his fingertips, leaving a trail of ice.
- Ice Dragon's Wing Attack (氷竜の翼撃 Hyōryū no Yokugeki): Boreas gathers magic power in his arms and coats them in ice and slams the target. Alternatively, he can bring his arms down to release a vortex that gradually freezes those inside.
- Ice Dragon's Claw (氷竜の鉤爪 Hyōryū no Kagitsume): Boreas gathers magic power to his feet and kicks the target.
- Ice Dragon's Shield (氷竜のシールド Hyōryū no Shīrudo): Boreas gathers magic power to his hand and extends it, creating a shield of ice that slowly freezes anything touching it the more it keeps in contact with it.
- Ice Dragon's Cold Fang (氷竜の冷たい牙 Hyōryū no Tsumetai Kiba): Boreas gathers magic power to his hand and creates a frozen spear that pierces and freezes the struck part.
- Ice Dragon's Sword Horn (氷竜の劍角 Hyōryū no Kenkaku): Boreas gathers magic power around his body and lunges towards a target, encasing himself in ice and propels himself at high speed, hitting them with a powerful headbutt. He then proceeds to send the target flying up in the air with a pillar of ice produced from his body.
- Ice Dragon's Glacial Strike (氷竜の氷河打撃 Hyōryū no Hyōga Dageki): Boreas gathers magic power to his hand and slaps it to the ground, with a pillar of ice being manifested beneath the target that strikes and sends them up in the air.
- Ice Dragon's Freezing Bite (氷竜の凍結噛み付く Hyōryū no Tōketsu Kamitsuku): Boreas gathers magic power in his mouth and creates an ice set of teeth with which he bites down the target.
Advanced Spells
- Ice Dragon's Coldness (氷竜の寒冷 Hyōryū no Kanrei): Boreas gathers magic power and spreads it to his whole body, covering it scales of ice. The scales not only boost his offense and defense, but they also allow him to freeze at a rapid rate anything he merely touches while the cold emanated near him is such that he can create anything he wishes by simply freezing the moisture and controlling the form while the scales can repair themselves by freezing the near moisture. Finally, the scales are cold enough to freeze normal fire spells, with Agni's flames being the only thing able to melt them.
- Ice Dragon's Frostbite (氷竜の凍傷 Hyōryū no Tōshō): Boreas gathers magic power to his arms, encasing it in ice in the form of a blade. The blade not only is sharp, but also causes numbness to the slashed part which evolves into complete freezing if not warmed in a minute.
- Ice Dragon's Hail Storm (氷竜の雹の嵐 Hyōryū no Hyōnoarashi): A spell usable in cloudy weather. Boreas gathers magic power which he unleashes toward the sky, with a rain of hail falling on the opponent's general direction and barraging them, with each hail ball being able to dent iron.
- Ice Dragon's Polar Fist (氷竜の極拳 Hyōryū no Kyokuken): An advanced version of the fist spell where Boreas gathers magic power to his arm or arms, encasing them in huge gauntlets of ice. The spell not only does much greater physical damage than the basic spell, but also releases on impact an air of freezing energy that freezes someone in a couple of seconds.
- Ice Dragon's Ice Servants (氷竜の氷使用人 Hyōryū no Kōri Shiyōnin): Boreas gathers magic power in his hands and claps them, creating some winged dragons. The dragons are fast and can freeze and shatter any body part they happen to bite. However, they last for five minutes, melting later from the surrounding heat of the normal environment, but they remain if there is cold in their area.
Secret Dragon Slayer Arts
- Sub-Zero Cold: Winter Fang (サブゼロ：冬の牙 Sabu Zero: Fuyu Kiba): Boreas gathers a lot of magic power and spreads it in the area and by tightening his fists, he envelops a target with spiked columns of ice that when he does a cross motion, the columns envelop and pierce them, freezing them also to the bone.
- Sub-Zero Cold: World Freezing Star (サブゼロ：ワールドスターを凍結 Sabu Zero: Wārudo Sutā o Tōketsu ): Boreas gathers a lot of magic power with his hands joined and raised up, bringing them down in order to unleash a huge sphere of ice that not only does concussive damage, but also creates an explosion of ice that freezes a huge area.
- "I see now. You wanted this to happen, right, Pagyranus? For me to let you go along with my past and violent side. Thank you. I will honor your soul's departure with a display of the Ice Dragon King's power!"

Primal Dragon Mode[]
Primal Dragon Mode (親忘れ形見竜力 (プライマル・ドラゴン・モード), Puraimaru Doragon Mōdo lit. Parent's Memento Dragon Power) is a peculiar Dragon Slayer Magic power; it allows the Dragon Slayer to use the power of their parent dragon.
Primal Dragon Mode is perhaps the Dragon Slayer sub-ability; is the ultimate representation of a student's bond with their winged, scaly flying lizard of a teacher. It can be a byproduct of the Dragon Soul Seal, which allows the parent dragon to enter their protégé's soul, serving as a defense of sorts until their departure. When the dragon is released from their student's soul, and subsequently, when their time is up and their spiritual form begins to vanish, in their last moments, a dragon is capable of giving their child one final power-boost, granting them the remainder of both their magical and physical power by modifying their biology and Magic Origin; the visual representation of which is a draconic tattoo that is branded upon their skin in a place that depends from user to user- the tattoo is one final memento left from parent to child. Alternatively, the user can get this ability as a parting gift from their dragon without the seal, as long as the dragon is dead.
When activating Primal Dragon Mode, the draconic tattoo begins to glow brightly in the colour of the user's element, causing their dragon teacher's powers to influence their body, resulting in a drastic change. The user's Magic Origin is modified in order to take the addition of the draconic power of their parent into consideration, becoming larger and amplifying the quantity and effects of the magical power stored within. Additionally, the user's body strength is drastically augmented, with the tattoo altering it in order to take upon the properties of an actual dragon at full power. As a result of the sheer volume of the magical power granted by this power-up, before even properly utilizing the power to its fullest, the user constantly discharges after effects of their element, and their speed and power drastically increase to levels that allow them to fight toe-to-toe with incredulously powerful beings- the power of Primal Dragon Mode can also enable them to shrug off some forms of Black Magic. When in this form, the user has access to enhanced versions of their normal Dragon Slayer Magic spells, referred to as "_Dragon King's _" (_竜王の, _Ryūō no_).
When the power granted by Primal Dragon Mode is exerted to its maximum, in a radius expanding meters, the surroundings itself becomes a storm of elemental energy which varies from user to user, and the user becomes cloaked in their element, which takes upon the manifestation of their dragon parent, causing a frightening visage. However, in order to utilize Primal Dragon Mode to the utmost of its ability, it can take an extremely long time to learn the ins and outs of the power, with the absolute maximum taking ten months of dedicated training to properly master, though in that case, the Dragon Slayer in question was mentally impaired. Another weakness of Primal Dragon Mode is that the magical power bestowed upon the user by their dragon parent is extremely finite, mostly due to the dragon parent only giving them this power in their last moments in existence; and once it runs out, the user can never utilize its power again.
When Boreas uses this mode which is known as Ice Dragon King Mode, he is surrounded by a potent ice aura that when flared and spread, can cover and freeze instantly a huge area. The aura surrounding him is so potent that even the spells of other dragon slayers freeze and shatter while he unlocks such control over ice and cold temperatures that he can freeze instantly from a distance numerous people and objects no matter their size. He claims that the ice of this mode can freeze anything and shut down any function and true to that, when he used it against Zelretch Kenos for the first time, he managed to freeze him even though the latter was a ghost, an ability which is a gift and wish from his teacher dragon. Even when he lost that ability after the time limit, he could still enter the mode with his own power and freeze anything instantly while the magic power he gains allows him to stand up to Zelretch Kenos whose magic power is considered Sorcery Lord level.

Spells
- Ice Dragon King's Blizzard Roar (氷竜王の猛吹雪咆哮 Hyōryūō no Mō Fubuki Hōkō): Boreas gathers a lot of magic power in his mouth and releases a huge and wide wave of ice vortex. This ice vortex is in fact a greatly freezing air that rapidly removes the warmth in the direction it is unleashed upon.
- Ice Dragon King's Winter Soul (氷竜王の冬魂 Hyōryūō no Mō Fuyu Tamashī): Boreas gathers a lot of magic power in his hands and moves them in a counter-clockwise motion, releasing two Chinese dragons of liquid ice. Anything the dragons devour is rapidly frozen and shattered. It is his most magic consuming spell.
- Ice Dragon King's Eternal Grasp (氷竜王の永遠つかみ Hyōryūō no Eien Tsukami): Boreas gathers a lot of magic power in his hands and covers them in icy claw gauntlets. These claw gauntlets not only are extremely sharp like swords, but also freeze severely whatever they slice.
- Ice Dragon King's Hel's Punishment (氷竜王のヘルお仕置き Hyōryūō no Heru Oshioki): Boreas gathers a lot of magic power in his hands and has them extended apart, creating countless spears of ice that pierce targets and are quite dangerous because anyone pierced will be frozen internally.

- His appearance is based on Horohoro/Usui Horokeu from Shaman King.
- He will become a member of the protagonist group of the future story.
- His Dragon's name Pagyranus is a mix of Pagos the Greek word for Ice and Tyrannus the ancient Greek word for Tyrant, with his name meaning Ice Tyrant.
- Boreas is the Greek God of North Wind and the bringer of winter while Skadi is the Norse Goddess of Snow among other things.
- Hel is one of the Nine Realms of Norse Mythology. A realm of ice where those that died from sickness and old age go.
- Boreas is incompatible with lacrima so he cannot become a Third Generation Dragon Slayer, however, he has antibodies thanks to his body hosting Pagyranus for years, escaping the fate of dragonification.
