Buddy (バディ Badi) is an exceed, and as such, is highly recognizable for being a talking, flying cat. He is also a member of the Elysium Guild and the close, beloved friend of Elysium mage, Gilgamesh Prime. On top of that, Buddy himself can also make use of magic; he himself being capable of using the exceed's Aera Magic. Aside from this, he also tends to spotlight as Gil's keeper; acting as the voice of reason for the Dragon Slayer, when not preoccupied in joining him in his wild and silly pursuits.

Magic and Abilities[]
Aera Magic (翼, エーラ Ēra): A commonly seen form of magic used by the exceed, and Buddy is no different. With it, Buddy can produce a pair of angel wings on his back, which grant him the power of flight. With it, he can travel to otherwise unreachable locations, and transport people and objects along with him. However, Aera Magic is limited by how long it can stay in use. Once the time limit has expired, the spell will deactivate and become unusable. Additionally, Buddy can increase the speed of his flight, but the faster he goes, the more magic power Aera consumes.
