Chiruochiba (散る落葉, Chiruochiba) is a swordsman and acolyte currently following Ryūrei Kurokami. Originally a shrine maiden in a country to the East, she would leave that life behind after her shrine took in an injured rōnin. Caring for him and watching him practice, Chiba would fall in love with the fluid motions of the blade, slicing through air and cleaving invisible adversaries in two. She would eventually demand lessons in exchange for caring for him, and used every moment of spare time to hone her craft with a wooden blade. It would be this focus that became her undoing, as Chi was subsequently banished from the shrine for neglecting her duties.

Nonetheless, it was a blessing in disguise; now free to pursue her passions, Chiruo would take what she had learned from the rōnin and expand it, drawing upon the spontaneity of nature to accomplish this. Likewise, her passion for swords styles has blossomed, the woman living her life as a hardcore enthusiast. It would be this that drew her to Ryū, hearing of an activist swordmaster who was hell-bent on building a school. Thus, a new adventure began.
