Cobra (コブラ, Kobura) is currently a member of Crimson Thorn, an Independent Guild composed of seven powerful Mages. Seven years prior to the reappearance of Team Tenrou, Cobra was a member of the Oracion Seis, a former Dark Guild that was once a third of the Balam Alliance. During his time as a Dark Mage, Cobra along with the other members of the Oracion Seis, sought to find the Nirvana, a destructive magic that was sealed a long time ago. Since his defeat at the hands of Fire Dragon Slayer Natsu Dragneel, Cobra has been travelling around the continent working as an independent mage, trying to atone for the sins he had committed.

Cobra is a slim man of average height with spiky crimson hair which is styled upwards, aside from a tuft covering his forehead and two bangs framing his face. He’s noted to have snake-like features, with slanted eyes somehow similar to Natsu’s, a rather flat nose, and prominent canine teeth. He also sports a simple circular earring on his left ear. When he makes use of his artificial Dragon Slayer Magic, activating Dragon Force, the back of his hands and forearms becomes covered in crimson dragon scales, while the front becomes light-colored and smooth, and his fingertips span sharp claws.
The outfit that he wore as a member of the Oracion Seis consisted of an elaborated whitish coat with purple inners and cuffs intricately decorated by silver-colored motifs, and many studs lined up the chest, the high collar and the sleeves, which have armbands seemingly made of metal around them above Cobra’s elbows. Below it he wore a dark shirt, and also sported a pair of crimson pants apparently composed of leather held up by a studded belt, with more similar belts circling diagonally the upper parts of his legs, and simple brown shoes.
Cobra retains the same style of clothing but with different colours, which now consists of an exquisite greyish long coat with a green underside and cuffs intricately decorated by golden-coloured motifs, and many studs lined up the chest, the high collar and the sleeves, which have armbands seemingly made of metal around them above Cobra’s elbows. Underneath it he wears a black shirt, along with dark colour leather pants held together by a studded belt, with similar belts circling diagonally the upper parts of his legs, and black boots.

Cobra was once a member of Oracion Seis, one of the most powerful dark guilds in the Kingdom of Fiore. And like his fellow members, he too sought Nirvana, an incredible magic sealed long ago. Prior to joining, he was enslaved in the Tower of Heaven as a young boy under Jellal's reign until Brain came and selected him to become a part of his guild with Jellal's permission.
