Spartoi is a sub-guild of Dragon Gunfire. The group's goal is to rehabilitate Dark Mages that wish to go straight, something that was the original goal of Black Void.
Overview[]
This section of Dragon Gunfire was created in order to rehabilitate Dark Mages, and teach them to be kinder and less malefic through learning the bond of camaraderie. This idea was thought out by Aether Cade and Jason Gaebolg, and was approved by the Magic Council after the events of the Othrys-Dragon Gunfire war. Jason acts as the group's program manager, giving him status akin to that of an S-Class Mage in the guild. The sub-guild as a whole, however, is under the supervision of Dragon Gunfire's guild master. Although the group's size is rather small, they hope to eventually gain many reformed Dark Mages. All members also bear the Dragon Gunfire guild mark and are allowed to take part in all events related to Dragon Gunfire (S-Class Promotional Trial, Grand Magic Games, etc.).

In Greek mythology, the Spartoi were a group of warriors created by Cadmus after sowing Dragon's teeth in the ground. They then assisted him in the founding of Thebes.
Jason in Greek mythology also summoned the Spartoi, which is evident in the name of the group's leader.
The Spartoi's theme song is Heathens by twenty one pilots.
