Inferis Reverteri (返す黄泉ノ国(インフェリス リバーテリ), Inferisu Ribāteri; Latin and Japanese for "Return to the Underworld"), also called Exorcism Magic (悪魔払いマジック, Akumabarai majikku), is an incredibly powerful and rare magic, created with the intent to commune with the otherside. A unique piece of arcana, it is both a Caster & Holder-type magic, dating back millennia, when Magic was still being developed. It is an Ancient Spell: one of the few Old World magics that haven't been lost to the sands of time. However,

A rare non-elemental magic, it revolves around the channeling and influencing the forces of the netherworld, and all it encompasses. As such, the user can communicate with and summon the dead, subjugate spiritual beings, as well as summon and manipulate Nether: the "Chthonian Element" that flows through the underworld. Likewise, they can also forcibly eject and erase said entities and energies from objects and locations, cleansing their energies and dispelling their influences.

True to its categorization as an Ancient Spell, Inferis Reverteri has few users within the modern age. As one must first be in possession of the God Factor, practitioners typically hail from an established lineage or have received a blessing from a Netherworld King.
