Fading Horsefish Counter is a Holder Type Magic branching out from Illusion Magic. It is an enchantment spell that utilizes a psychosomatic illusion technique and a quixotic force technique upon an enchantment spell. Its parent spell is Fading Counter.

Description[]

A type of Magic which allows its user to enchant a target enchantment spell and splice it apart to summon a phantasm in the shape of a flying horsefish. The horsefish has an average size of a healthy, sport-type horse. It looks like a half-horse, half-seahorse with bubbles forming underneath it as if it is taking a bubble bath. The horsefish is an intangible summon creature. It cannot be affected by physical nor magical effects. However, a spell or ability that targets or affects the horsefish to specifically return it back to its world will affect it.

Upon splicing the target enchantment, it is not dispelled nor destroyed. However, the affected enchantment loses 15% of its power or loses one of its many effects.

When summoned, the flying horsefish appears in a flash from behind a target opponent which neighs-out usually catching the opponent off-guard. When this reaction is achieved, the user tends to make their escape, hide, or prepare a spell though requiring the capability of casting quicken spells or moving out quickly with enhance speed (depending on how fast the opponent recovers from the state of awe and wonder, the "extra" turn reaction may or may not be possible).

The two main uses of this spell is to utilize the "enchant-all" effect that the horsefish provides. As long as the horsefish remains in the battle area, the user and their allies are able to not breath at all without suffering from repercussions. The other use is to allocate half of the damage that the user and their allies would take into the horsefish instead without it getting destroyed or knocked-out in the processed.

This spell cannot affect itself. The user may cast as many horsefishes as their magical energy can pay but the reduction of damage remains the same. Also, it would take a minute to summon another horsefish if there is an available enchantment to target and splice from.
