They could be thought of as "Elemental Magic made manifest", though while a personification of the strongest power imaginable; the chains known as a "mortal body" do not hinder their performance in battle in the slightest. The dragon who passed on this magic to the user actually created a magical change in how the body's Magic Origin functioned, therefore causing their body to possess the magical powers of a Dragon - otherwise known as Dragon Slayer Magic. Continuing with this process, the user's magical power acts alongside the energy of the body in order to catalyze a variety of bodily processes when younger, therefore allowing the morphing of their physiology to a point where the user has adopted some physical traits, as well as the element, from the said Dragon. These flames as produced by a wielder of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic are known to be one of the four classical elements in ancient philosophy and science, having been an important part of all cultures and religions from pre-history to modern day and was vital to the development of civilization, being regarded in many different contexts throughout history, but especially as a metaphysical constant of the world. Indeed, fire is commonly associated with the qualities of energy, assertiveness, and passion. In one myth, the god known as Prometheus stole fire from the other gods to protect the otherwise helpless humans, but was punished for this charity. Fire Dragon Slayer Magic continues on from that theory, because as a dragon is elemental energy made manifest, the draconic elemental flames brought upon the physical plane possess traits and properties that are intricately linked to their very nature, embodying their status as a being of pure destruction.

Additionally, due to their draconic flames, a wielder of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic is immune to burns no matter the degree and regardless of whether the burn was inflicted by a natural phenomenon or a magician beyond their league in power.

In addition, the user can consume external sources of fire to restore their body to a healthy state and regain their reserves of strength, something that also makes them immune to all types of fire, due to their capability of nullifying fire-based attacks by sucking them in and eating them; the consumed fire also seems to possess a different "taste" according to its "quality". However, the user can't eat their own flames, or things set on fire by themselves in order to reinvigorate themselves. In terms of elemental match-ups, Fire Dragon Slayer Magic is strong against nature-based magics such as Green Magic and Wood Dragon Slayer Magic due to the fact that fires consume plants easily, regardless of if the fire is extinguished, with the plants being damaged heavily. Additionally, they have an advantage against the likes of Ice-Make and Ice Devil Slayer Magic as fire and heat melt ice, and against Iron-Make and Iron Dragon Slayer Magic, fires can melt down metals, thus giving it an advantage. However, Fire Dragon Slayer Magic is weak against geokinetic-type magics such as Earth Magic because if rocks and ground are thrown over a fire, the flames suffocate and die. Fire Dragon Slayer Magic is also at a disadvantage against Water Magic and Water Dragon Slayer Magic as water extinguishes fire - however, in the case of water, at higher levels of mastery, a pyrokinetic-type Dragon Slayer Magic displays the ability to turn water into steam upon contact, with the fires simply shooting through and land a direct hit on the magician who made the foolish decision to launch their water towards the user of this form of Dragon Slayer Magic; even so, this counteraction can also be reversed as well.

- Flames of Emotion (炎情, Enjō): The Flames of Emotion are a permanently activated sub-ability of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic – it is the ability to increase the intensity of the flames generated through the magic in accordance with the user's emotions; it is tied directly to the user's magic origin. The flames of a Fire-element Slayer are strictly connected to their feelings; meaning that the fires generated by their magic can intensify or decrease depending on their emotional state. At an all-time low, the flames can barely manifest as a spark; but when properly determined, more their flames will increase exponentially in temperature. Effectively, this radically modifies the output and temperature of the user's flames, going from simply being "strong", beyond normal forms of elemental magic, to "overwhelming", the heat of the flames becoming comparable to that of the sun or even beyond that. If the user is sufficiently determined, they are capable of effectively transforming themselves into an all-consuming inferno that promises naught but absolute destruction, rendering the attempts by opponents to stop them null and void before the might of their willpower; as emotions are the base of all forms of magic, the Flames of Emotion can be said to be one of the purest forms of pyrokinesis to exist. It should be noted that with the Flames of Emotion, the user is capable of focusing the entirety of the fires upon their person, absorbing the force of the flames to the point where their power multiplies by several factors for a several minutes. - Fire Dragon's Iron Fist (火竜の鉄拳, Karyū no Tekken): Fire Dragon's Iron Fist is a basic Fire Dragon Slayer Magic spell which is oftentimes considered the meat and bones of this particular form of Dragon Slayer Magic, being a building block of the magic from which countless extensions are forged – Fire Dragon's Iron Fist involves the wielder of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic engulfing one or more of their hands in flames before slamming their fist into their adversary, not only causing sheer blunt damage, but also imparting the mass of fire upon their opponent. From here, the user then launches their clenched fist forward with a swift, bullet-esque motion that appears almost untraceable to the untrained eye and can be thrown towards the target from near-all positions imaginable – when the burning fist impacts upon the form of the target, it strikes with the force of being struck in the face with an solid iron anvil, with the flames amassed around their hand swirling around at the point of contact which deals multiple strikes of damage in order to induce an effect which isn't dissimilar to that of a drill that's utilized for the purpose of excavation grinding into their body as if the drill was eating away at bedrock little by little, finishing its journey towards its target with a powerful punching force that inflicts major damage upon the caster's opponent and launches them several meters away if their bodily constitution isn't capable of handling the forces associated with the Fire Dragon's Iron Fist. To those whom witness the process of the user launching the Fire Dragon's Iron Fist which impacts upon the opponent, it visually appears as if the user has made the slightest of movements forward and from there, the enemy was struck with the force of a cannon shell, being sent careening across the landscape near-instantly, releasing that heat with explosive power that deals tremendous damage to the foe upon contact. The amount of time in which these actions transpire make it seem as if the opponent has been punched with the force of a powerful cannon shell, effectively blowing the opponent away while unleashing mass devastation to the enemy no matter what defenses they manage to erect rather futilely. As one of the signature spells of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic, depending on the skill level of the magician casting the spell, Fire Dragon's Iron Fist is able to be performed in almost any way that the user of the magic deems to be suitable, whether it's just a simple fist forward in a similar manner to the standard short straight punch used in all Slayer punching techniques, an uppercut, a punch that travels along a vertical line at the opponent's chin or solar plexus (and from here, can be launched as a jumping uppercut), a jab where the lead fist is thrown straight ahead and the arm is fully extended - the moment of impact, the pronated fist is generally held in a horizontal orientation with the palm facing the ground, a rabbit punch, which is a blow to the back of the head or to the base of the skull, a cross where the caster throws a punch with the dominant hand the instant an opponent leads with their opposite hand, a overhand, a semi-circular and vertical punch thrown with the rear hand, a hook, a punch performed by turning the core muscles and back, thereby swinging the arm, which is bent at an angle near or at ninety degrees, in a horizontal arc into the opponent, aimed at the chin, and a swing, a variant of the hook where the arm is usually more extended. The blazing torrents known as Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade are capable of hitting about eight times a second, although this is unlikely due to the speed the streams spin at and the knockback delivered, with each connecting strike generating a powerful, burning explosion, with an even larger explosion ending the barrage- the blast radius of the final explosion looks like a huge sphere of negative space fifteen hundred feet across, with neat slices taken out of surrounding buildings, pavement, cars, hillsides, et cetera; there appears to have been no actual heat, let alone shockwaves, emanating from the explosion at all - the only result is that a massive spherical section of the area appears to be missing. Despite being a powerful attack, it has one major flaw: if the opponents are far away from the user, they can avoid the attack by jumping over it. However, it makes it up by inflicting damage on a wide range of multiple enemies and pushing them back quite some distance without allowing recovery, possibly even dragging opponents off the side. Along with its astounding destructive power, the attack has a delayed effect if the initial blast should fail, wherein the target will be blasted by residual effects left over by the volley of flames; absolutely obliterating the opponent.
