Grease Lightning is a Caster-Type branching out from Mental Magic. It is a quicken, trap spell utilizing the metacreativity technique which covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease induced with lightning.

Description

A type of Magic that instantly creates an electrical-coated grease that covers a solid surface in an area of up to 10,000km x 40,000km. Any creatures in the area must have the spell, power, or ability resembling Enhanced Reflexes. If they do not, they fall harshly on the ground, are dealt for minor, lightning-element damage as well as minor falling damage, become paralyzed, and are now coated with the electrical-coated grease. If they do, then the creatures will walk within or through the area of grease at half their normal speed.

The spell can also be used to create an electrical-coated grease on an item, or equipment. If the creatures do not have the spell, power, or ability resembling Enhanced Grips to hold onto the items or equipments, the weapon falls out of their grip, are dealt for lightning-element damage as well as minor falling damage, become paralyzed, and are now coated with the electrical-coated grease. If they do, then the creatures will be able to wield the item or equipment but will drop it once they begin to move (such as walking, running, climbing, etc;).

While affected objects are coated with electrical-coated grease, they are dealt for lightning-element damage each time they take an action and flinch (flinching effect occurs for every other 2 actions performed by the affected object). Any object that touches them or when affected creature touches an object, that object is now coated with electrical-coated grease.

The electrical-coated grease lasts for 30 minutes.

As a quicken spell, the user may choose to have this spell's effect take place before any other effect.
