Gul (黄色 Kiiro) is a mage originally born in the foreign country Mys but travelled to the land of Ishgar in hopes that he may learn how to control his special Dragon Slayer Magic, Light Dragon Slayer Magic variant which he recieved after getting a strange lacrima implanted into him for scientific study by the Mystan Government, the dominating force in the whole empire of the continent. Having been introduced to the Lost magic of Dragon Slaying by the time he reached Ishgar, Gul was very much a novice to the Caster magic and so seeked help from many other Dragon Slayers on how to be able to preform it, which he mostly tried to search for those that share his variant where he may learn with the proper techniques associated with his magic, always looking to improve his skills everyday. From a couple of years he has only learnt Light Dragon Slayer Magic, he has shown from his focus on just one magic type he has grown exponentially more capable with his skills as he has soon grown out of the early stages of the Dragon Slayer phase and now is reaching to learn from the best in hopes that he may succeed them in power.
Always willing to learn from his teachers Gul loves the experience of learning something new as well as being able to use the school outside of education and even learn to empower it so that it may exceed suh power from his current Dragon Slayer masters which he learns new techniques from. However, most of the magic techniques and spells that Gul has equipped, utelised and even configured were mostly taught to him by a more expert Light Dragon Slayer, Theia Zhulong who had taken Gul under her wing of guidance after he had constantly begged her to learn under her methods, which he had recieved due to casuing complete irratation expressed by the terrifying Dragon Slayer. Still even being taught by Theia, Gul tries his best to master the skills taught to him by his teacher and even wishes to try and attempt at exceeding her power which he knows will take ages before he can clearly accomplish such a task. Relying not only on his powerful magic but as well as brute strength and a healthy body Gul is an accomplished athlete with much more to give due to his intense trainings and schedules that Gul does throughout the week that involve some of the most ridiculous cycles that not even the strongest mages on earth Land could handle themselves.
Valuing and incorporating into his nature the aspects of "Power, experience and companionship", Gul has lived by these terms since he had arrived from Ishgar after having spent most of his time working under the House of Hogi, the royal family that controls the government where he comes from. Now free to do as he wishes Gul has been with many small communities of mages that arn't even recognised by some of the lowest of guilds, keeping his identity secret until the time he seeks to join one of the higher ups. Gul's value for companionship has led him to make new friends in the continent of Ishgar and values them with his upmost respect, though however Gul's companionship of the House of Hogi still exists and being that they were the first ever to call on his existence Gul has respected them the most. Always ready to serve the Hogi brother and sister at whatever time Gul will always try his best to defend them no matter what side they are on though it will seem a problem must they be opposing one another to which Gul will choose the eldest brother Mago due to his extreme power and capablitiy to preform grand and entertaining feats that Gul has admired since serving the household.
Referred to as Star Boy (スターボーイ Sutābōih) due to his brighter coloured locks, Gul is the opposite to his black haired associates although does somehow relate to his master Theia, though Gul constantly puts down any sort of questioning to if blood relation. His unique spells that he has attained and practised over the years of the lost magic have made him exceptionally known in his part of Ishgar due to his kindness and support that he gives to the people and will do anything to defend them from incoming hostilities which he is mostly able to settle down with the help of occasional friends that somehow make their way to Gul. Very soon to master the art Gul is determined and devouted to mastering Light Dragon Slayer and so wishes that once he has mastered the art move onto another Dragon Slayer variant, hoping to become one of the most powerful beings in this world as well as become the greatest Dragon Slayer to exist, as to what was to be a harmless experiment of a young boy by the government would turn into a full on journey in order to become one of the most dangerous and unbelievable beings to ever live.

Gul is quite the good looking young man, having skin as smooth as a freshly sharpened and polished blade that is just as light as the sun that shines down upon it, displaying Gul as the very dangerous man who should not be taken lightly he is like a blade in clear sight. Standing tall and proud, Gul looks like he could be quite the cocky and enthusiastic man just from the look of his pose, which builds this sense of courage and strength around his vibe. Because of how much Gul trains durinh his spare time, his body has been buffed out that he has muscles flexing out all in the right places to give off the impression that he is pretty strong. But his muscles can be seen from his clothes as well, mostly his pex due to how Gul wears his top clothing most of the time for his normal wear. Gul's smile is definitely something to bring up memories with, as it is a smile that has been through a lot of experiences for it to keep in store, such as his time serving Mago Hogi, leaving Ishgar and even training with his former mentor Theia. His eyes are literally gold in colour, and are sort of small stars that sit on both sides of his face, giving a notable glimmer that anyone looking at him would awe at due to how amazing and beutiful his eyes really are, and is one of the main reasons to why Gul is referred to as Star boy. His jaw line could honestly be used to deflect blades because of how god damn sharp it is, which leads to nis notable strong chin that sits just below his very comforting smile. His brown hair is ruffled up, messy in most places with many strans hanging and sticking out in all different directions that give Gul that adventurous, wild and warrior look that he deserves to have for himself. Underneath and above his starry eyes is his bold and strong brown eyebrows which are the same colour as his glorious locks, and look just as bold as his own courage, which is pretty big.
His normal outfit consists of on the top a very dark navy kind of coloured collared shirt, with a collar that is so god damn huge that it basically shields Gul's neck from plastic bullets and all that, useful for hiding tattoos on the back of his neck and other types of art that is on the back of his nack. Few of the top buttons of the shirt are un done to display just a small view of Gul's pex, although he says it is done to help him deal with incoming attacks that have hit his torso and such that he is able to breath easier. On the left sleeve of his blue shirt, there is a strange yellow marking that even Gul doesn't know what it means, as the marking was already on the shirt when Gul had bought it so it could honestly mean anything. The sleeves' cuffs are pulled back to his elbows and have a white lining on the end of them, and are folded in order to become huge just like a pirates'. On his hands, Gul wears a pair of fingerless gloves made pf black cotton or wool, and are pulled up to the middle of his wrists, also with strange metal cuffs on his wrists that are meaant to one contain his power and also supply hand attacks with extra magic power for his Dragon Slayer capabilities. Over his blue shirt however is a long collared vest that sits nicely on top of his blue collared shirt, with white lining on the collar and down the middle, it isn't very hard to see that this is what makes Gul look like a badass, at least to the author of this article. Buttoned up, the collar of the vest goes down below the buttons that have been undone to display Gul's pex, with a red ribbon that hangs between the collars because why not, purely just a cosmetic decoration added to give the vest some more flair. Wearing a purple belt and a gold buckle, the vest is securely fastened to Gul's body and doesn't prove to be so much as a liability thinking about how long the vest really is. As the vest can reach down past Gul's thighs.
Underneath, Gul wears fine black suit pants underneath which do not have any limitations to their movement even though they are suit pants, just thinking about most suit pants' materials and how little move,ent one can be able to do with it, which is why Gul had chosen to use this so he can move around easier. The pants is a near regular fit and for Gul seems as if he was wearing leggings instead of actual suit pants due to how comfortable and flexible they are, as well as how fitted they are to Gul's legs, where one can actually see the muscle of his calves sticking out when he flexes them off to show. The pants is fasted to his lower body with a hidden belt that goes to Gul's waist and is made out of a leather material that has a gold buckle to keep it together. For the pants, it is pretty standard with two front pockets that can hold anything around the size of a Celestial Spirit Key, and two back bottom pockets that holds Gul's wallets and everything, which is pretty useful as the ves flows down past these pockets and him them from anyone thinking of trying to steal them. The sleeves of his pants are really long, that they hang on top of his grey coloured leather shoes which he uses mainly to deal with fire and everything, being heeled that they can be used to deliver strong kick attacks al by themselves. The bottom of the shoes on the sinside have metal in them, meaning that Gul can still defend the soles of his feet fom incoming attacks by using the bottom of his shoes to block them. The shoes are pretty easy to take off as the thing holding them in place is this material that can be tightened and released when commanded to, making getting out of problems that involve his shoes being stuck in place pretty easy to fix as he can just simply slide right out of the footwear.
Gul also has a formal suit that he is rarely seen wearing because his lack of motivation to wear one, only actually wearing the suit to formal events such as balls and the such, but even then Gul doesn't wear the suit mainly because he doesn't want to wear one like said before. Starting off is that Gul wears a snow white coloured dress shirt, that is fully buttoned compared to his usual blue shirt. The dress shirt has a pocket on the left side of his chest which is large enough to hold one or two coloured handkerchiefs.

When Gul is with the right people he opens up a side that no normal person on Earth Land is able to experience as there are only few people on the world that Gul can consider his friend, and to friends Gul shows a side of gratitude and loyalty as well as extreme kindness whoch is something of the opposite to how he truly behaves when dealing with the common people around him. This side of Gul is rarely seen and is definitely not to be taken granted for as it takes time for him to build a bond with someone and give them his trust as a friend as the first time being in Ishgar, Gul found many of the residents here to be sketchy and dodgy at most times which is how he began to percieve the population of Ishgar as, though this can easily be broken through if one can show how trustworthy and friendly as well as being real to Gul. When Gul is around his friends his behaviour changes drastically as he switches to an undying loyalty unless those who are his friends show a suspicious behaviour that may not seem very trustworthy for Gul, which makes him very uneasy about and starts beginning to think up exaggerated ideas just for the smallest bit of detail that is out of place. He will fight to the very end in order to keep his friends safe and will do whatever he can to make sure that they are safe from danger, even to put his own life on the line just so he knows that they will be safe and keeping the thought till the time that he passes. Gul is extremely serious about companionship and will work on cooperation and teamwork to get a job done as he sees that living depends on how well and good you're relationship is to other people as there will be more there for you to support and there to support you.
The normal folk of the lands Gul can seem to be very selfish as well as arrogant due to being extremely confident and faithful to his skills as a mage, which is known to be very irritating to other mages that happen to come by Gul, which is looked down upon by honourable mages. Gul always looks for a fight no matter how big the opponent or how small they may be Gul will not be scared off so easily unless he knows full well the extent of one's powers that exceeds his own whoch in a way does scare him as he is fullu acknowledging what the opponent is capable of doing on him. He can also be very childish when dealing with situations and refuse to listen to those that know better than him, gaining an aspect of ignorance to the wellbeing of others as he practically doesn't care about other people around him. His pride is another thing about him that people don't shine broght lights as Gul is too proud of his relation to the House of Hogi family as well as the brother and sister who reside in the land who he deeply cares for and respects with from the bottom of his heart, as not even the Magic Council or Wizard Saints could get this type of behaviour from. Though speaking of the Magic Council, Gul has positive views on the subject of Anarchy even though having served under the family of an emperor and also being good friends with a member of the Magic Council, Gul believes and dreams a world without control just as how it was before and wants to try and renew the world into such a way that he can live in a place that shares his thoughts and ideals of without governmental figures. However this aspect of his beliefs and opinions have not made him quite the target yet as he has not commited any action in supporting these views and thoughts of how the world should be, unlike other rebels and criminals that have actually taken action in order to bring their ideal world to existence.
Gul is always annoyed when someone refers to him as a child, which actually brings him to the point where he can get a little violent and angry just because of a small word or referral, but not actually to the point where he might kill someone because of it cause he knows that is just too far for someone to do that. He is extreemly conscious about his looks and tries to act and look as mature as he can be to overcome the childish appearance that he was so cursed to bear for his life as he tries so hard. From using long words to drinking large amounts of beer aswell as smoking cigarretes, all of which Gul can handle by himself without medical help and advice, these actions can be quite distasteful as well as shocking to many as he regularly participates in drinking competitions involving other alcohol loving mages that accept the request for a drinking spar, which Gul can seem to look as if he's winning. He also has a huge love for scarfs which he always wears on his body as well as keep it on his person at all times no matter the outfit, making it a prime feature of his attire no matter how detailed the other articles of clothing may be. From lomg scarfs to short scarfs, plan scarfs to detailed scarfs, thin scarfs to thick scarfs it doesn't matter what kind of scarf because Gul always has every type of scarf ready for any type of situation that he might find himself in. To support his love for scarfs Gul uses them for a variety of purposes such as ropes, bandages to keep blood flow, blindfolds, restraints, as well as forming a collection of scarfs to resemble other things there is nothing Gul can't do with the power and capabilities of his many scarfs all of which are somehow able to fit in his pockets which never seem to show the existence of such material.
In combat there are different way to how Gul can respond to violence that may come his way which all depend on the mood that he is in, as emotions in a fight can greatly affect a mage's capability and power with their attacks as shown over the years of fighting and training that gul has experienced. In much calmer times such as positive feelings or when battling someone who is clearly much weaker to Gul in terms of power and mentality, Gul is laid back and cocky when fighting as he fights almost effortlessly as he counters and reflects his opponent's attacks without the need for dodging them due to how lower skilled they are compared to the Light Dragon Slayer, though this is actually a prime weakness that all mages fighting him in this state of mind should use to their advantage. Gul is arrogant and ignorant so when one must battle him should use surprising attacks when Gul is out in the open, though to beat him during this they must show him that he is weak and therefore take in hits to convey that they are human and they can feel pain, something that Gul despises in a sentient being. When going through negative emotions such as anger and sadness, Gul gets more extreme with his attacks and his power becomes alot more intense thanks to this, as now he becomes more sadistic, violent and animalistic as he attacks with flurries of attacks that are composed of full powered strikes that he sends to the opponent's way, as nothing there is able to hold him back. Gul isn't afraid to kill and therefore makes him very dangerous as the only way to make sure he is disabled from the thought is to return the killing idea or knock him out long enough for one to escape.

Magic Abilities[]
Light Dragon Slayer Magic (光の滅竜魔法 Kō no Metsuryū Mahō) is variant of the powerful Dragon Slayer Magic as well as being a form of Lost Magic which is also another Caster Magic that utilises the aspects and the elements of Light Magic within it's spells in order to match the great power of the legendary avian reptilian species of the Dragons, beasts that had ruled over the lands back in the old days, in order to devastatingly damage them or if possible slaughter them. This form of Dragon Slayer Magic involves the mage utilising and empowering their ethernano magic particles within them to mimic the spells that dragons had used to dominate the world, effectively matching their skill to the dragons as many of these attacks when done correctly at the right time can prove to be quite deadly, leaving grievous damages on a human body due to the power the attacks hold within them. Since this magic gathers power from the use of Light Magic's elements, positive feelings are the power source for all of Light Dragon Slayer attacks such as happiness, love, compassion, excitement, etc. But even though Dragon Slayer Magic involves the consumption of physical materials in order to power up these attacks, with Fire Dragon Slayers eating fire, Metal Dragon Slayers eating metal, etc. Light Dragon Slayer Magic users still can get this power though with their main source of power they consume it through absorbing the Light energy from positive emotions of others as they can "eat" the energy just by standing next to someone who would be currently under the experience of positive emotions. After months of training and intense drills under his mentor Theia Zhulong, Gul has become very capable in the art as it is the only magic that he has focused on since ever recieving it, may it be a blessing or a curse on his status as a mage of the Lost magic.
- Light Dragon Roar (ライトドラゴンロア Raitodoragonroa) is the most basic out of all the Dragon Slayer magics in the whole magic type, as all Dragon Slayer users are able to cast this all mighty spell, which requires the magic user to build up the energy within themselves in order to "roar" at the direction of their target, sending mass amounts of strong built up energy towards the target like a scream. Before the user can do anything they must collect a certain amount of ethernano from their ethernano magic supply in order to power up the spell for it to work, concentrating on moving the ethernano within themselves to their throat as the magic from there begins building up the more the user waits to let out that energy. As the energy within her throat really does build up the ethernano begins taking an change on itself as the less space that the ethernano has the more pressure there is on the magic particles as it strives to get released out from their container as there are repelling ethernano particles also building up underneath them, and when activated allows the magic user to effectively push the built up energy within their throat just enough to send it propelling through the air as it cuts and smashes through the atmosphere to get to the target. With just a simple open of the jaw and the exertion and powering or activating of the repelling magic particles, the caster of Light Dragon Roar lets out the iconic roar of a dragon as the built up pressure of the ethernano quickly and violently pushes the ethernano out her throat and out of her mouth, somehow holding the ethernano together as it is pushed out in a specific location which the ethernano keeps together by pushing it into a blast of Light magic energy, leaving a devastating effect on human life forms as the built energy and the combined collision of the constructed Dragon roar solidifies itself into a physical material as it swiftly and violently crushes the target from the front.
- Light Dragon Fist (ライトドラゴンフィスト Raitodoragonfisuto) One of his most capable spells Gul is able to greatly enhance his skill as a Light Dragon Slayer by building up the required ethernano magic particles within hos hand in order to leave devastating attacks and damages on his targets all done through the simple task of a punch, just now with a lot of powerful energy built up within. The spell starts off with Gul concentrating and thinking which somehow commands the magic particles from his magic supply to flow through his body but this time now into his hands which have special areas for the magic particles to build up in order for those that unluckily have to battle against him, the special area in his hand allows the built up magic to take effect as it escapes his hand with every collision that it does in order to resemble the famed Dragon Fist attack. Light Dragon Fist hardens the energy so that when built up it will start radiating the particles that were used to create the Light Dragon Slayer Fist as it slowly and individually drops out from his hand and back into the atmosphere for mages to absorb from the sky. This combination of seeping powerful Light magic energy as well as the raw strength of the fused dragon fist with Gul's strength, creates a lethal weapon at Gul's disposal as the radiation from the Dragon Fist leaves grievous and very dangerous marks on their opponent as the fist collides with the target, hurting them greatly if they were not very prepared for such a collision. His great skill with this spell allows him to cause a short tremor within the earth if he was to smash his Light Dragon Fist into the ground while activated.
- Light Dragon Claw (ライトドラゴンクロー Raitodoragon) Despite it's name being claw and that claws are usually weapons that are associated with the hands of a being, this is not the case with Light Dragon Slayer magic as well as other Dragon Slayer Magic types as this spell utelises magic that is concentrated on the user's feet which gives them more power and enhancing the strength of their kicks as well as producing a mass amount of magical energy that is capable of propelling Gul to any direction he so wishes or use them to shoot the magic energy from his feet which may prove to be useful for scaling tall buildings and mounds to get on top of. The spell begins with Gul thinking and concentrating on the thought of exerting his inner magic force to his lower legs and feet, as they travel down the body of Gul's and start to enhance the mages body's feet and legs as they begin radiating and burning off a bright light that flickers in the wind as it burns brightly but doesn't effect him at all. Gul can see when the spell is being prepared and ready as the fire at his feet become extremely intense as he can now feel some sort of heat from below his waist as he awaits the next part of his plan which mainly should be him striking the opponent with his now magical enhanced feet which now delivers extreme blows from every kick that Gul does to his opponent, taking more and more effect the more that the mage continues kicking his opponent. Light Dragon Claw even though might be his less powerful spell, this spell of his Dragon Slaying arsenal can be quite deadly when combined with her Light Dragon Fist as many hits from this combination and flurry of attacks will be one of his deadliest and most lethal aspect to his capabilities as a mage.
- Light Dragon's Shimmering Arrows (光竜の水明雨注 Kōryu no Suimei Uchū): First Gul will concentrate his ethernano into the palm of his hand, causing a small glow to spread out as this technique is activated, encircling his hand in a raidiant golden glow as multiple streams of light are sent out to attack the enemy. The spread of these beams can cover a distance of 260 feet straight, and 35 feet across, making it one of most widespread and threatening attacks in Gul’s arsenal. The beams themselves are always connected at the point of origin, allowing Gul to alter the beam's direction after being shot by the aid of expert ethernano manipulation. This makes it possible to strike multiple enemies with pinpoint accuracy, even bypassing hostages held in close proximity. The beams start off at a thickness of 8 inches from their point of origin, and gradually get thinner as the travel down their path, ending at a mere quarter inch thickness at their maximum length. They can easily puncture steel or earth, and even make their way through viscous liquid due to their vibrational frequency. A unique trait about this spell is his ability to increase the number of beams to a substantially large amount, splitting them in half in the process. An initial attack can generate 15 different beams, each which can easily be controlled by Gul. But should he desire to split them up towards their 480 beam maximum, the maneuverability of the arrows lessens, turning the attack into more of a barrage, rather than a pinpoint attack.
- Light Dragon's Wing Attack (光竜の要撃, Kōryu no Yōgeki): Crouching down and putting his two fists together, Gul brings about a decent amount of ethernano into his arms and hands. This ethernano swells outwards, taking shape in what appears as large draconic wings, spanning a total of 32 feet arched upwards. The benefit of this extremely dense attack is that can be performed both at close range, or “thrown” from a distance. Once formed, Gul will bring his hands as far back as he can and then proceeds to swing his arms forwards into an extended clapping motion. Should an opponent be in close range of this clap, he will feel the concussive force of this photonic attack like a freight train hitting him head on. The light itself can cause minor lacerations from its molecular speed, but the true power of this wing attack comes from the barrage of force. This is even a two part attack, as a shockwave of pressure from the force of the wing attack will follow a couple seconds after the initial strike. This does as much damage to the body as it does to the earth; effective ripping up rocks and roots half a foot under the surface. This can act as a boosted attack as well. Whereas by aiming one attack at the ground, he can propel herself upwards about ten feet, allowing him to use the force of gravity to aid in the strength of subsequent downward strike of the second “wing”. This increased power does come at a cost, for Gul is subjecting himself to the rubble and debris shot up from his attack on the initial boost.
- Illuminating Whip (照らす鞭, Terasumuchi): Sticking his hand out in an outstretched fashion, Gul will begin to channel his ethernano out of his palm into a concentrated stream of golden white light. This stream takes on the shape of an eight foot long bullwhip, with a heavier light concentration near the handle to balance out the sleek tapered length of the whip. The amount of control Gul has over this whip allows him to easily hit his target with the accuracy that can clean the wick off a candle. She can easily use this to wrap around a target’s body to constrict and crush them with great force; or fling them into objects or the ground for excruciating pain. He has even been seen using this whip to latch onto object to save himself from a fall, or to swing himself around and object and use the momentum from a more powerful hit. Ways that Gul have used this to benefit himself however greatly differentiate his use for the magic compared to his master Theia, as he commonly uses this spell grab onto retreating opponents as he is able to sustain enough magical energy to bring down an oppjent onto their jnees due to the constant burn from the Illuminating whip that has been wrapped tightly around the hostage of Gul's choice.
- Luminous Cloak (発光マント Hakkō Manto): Gul coats himself in a shroud of light that increases the damage of his attacks, as well as greatly increases his endurance, and even his speed slightly. This is due to the light being emitted and recycled into his aura that gathers up ambient ethernano to bring into his body and replenish his muscles more rapidly. His speed has been noted to increase two fold, giving the appearance that he is merely floating on the earth, for the light being emitted from him allows him to simply glide over the earth, lowering resistance, and increasing speed. When wearing this cloak the light given off by the shroud can help blind the enemy, making it extremely useful, especially in close combat. The photo-bleaching of the opponent’s eyes can last for over 2 minutes depending on the exposure, and direct visual contact with the cloak for over 3 minutes can cause permanent retinal damage. Although those who have an affinity towards Light or Lightning Magic are immune to its visual effects, as the ethernano that flows through their body has altered the physiology of their rods and cones, making it possible to withstand such intense lumens. An added benefit of this form is the resistance to light based attacks, as they become integrated with the luminous cloak, reinforcing its properties. The strength of a punch in this light clad form is able to easily break through brick, stone, and weaker metals; but given the output of ethernano into the cloak, the power of a mages physical skill can be increased.
- Light Clone (クローン Kurōn): A highly advanced technique for that of a mage, this spell allows the caster to construct an almost identical clone of themselves made out of ethernano. Akin to the ninja way of Shadow Clone Jutsu, a mage will have to expend a great deal of ethernano to give shape to a human body. The clone is able to perform physical techniques and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance, and has an ethernano network as an exact replica of Theia, giving it the ability to perform known spells as well. The clone itself is not of its own free will, but is instead directed by original by fluctuating the ethernano output of the clone’s construct. Theia can even send her consciousness through to the clone to give it the ability to speak, but this leaves the original body open to attack as one’s mind cannot be in two bodies at the same time. This is why Gul will generally hide his real body and send his consciousness to the clone to help use it to assess his targets abilities before getting injured himself. Typically used in combination for a close range, omnidirectional attack, a clone’s maneuverability and power can be highly advanced depending on the skill of the caster. But this is all dependant upon the control of the caster and how well they can keep the clone in their line of vision, because without seeing the environment the clone is inhabiting, their movements would see inorganic and tip off their opponent to the likes of a clone. This technique can be used for more than one clone, however, it will evenly distributes the caster’s magic between each clone, which comes at a cost of weakening the overall effectiveness of the clone and expend a great deal of energy. If the clone is seriously injured, it will revert to its natural light-state, at the same time blinding whatever opponent dealt such damage. Gul has used this as a trap himself, as he will use the clone to latch on to his target and then stab himself in the chest to cause the clone to revert and blind his enemy. Another great benefit of this is that a small portion of ethernano from the clone is returned to the caster’s body, in which their brain will process the information gathered by the clone. This can help a great deal with intel and even with training on a new technique. As the time to master a technique can be halved if using a clone.
- Light Dragon's Shining Impact (光竜の映射振盪, Kōryu no Eisha shintō): Gul engulfs his entire body in a whitish-gold light, expelling and circulating ethernano at a faster rate than normal to coat himself in a dense, oscillating light that ferociously wears away at a surface like a high powered water jet against a cliff. He then channels a great deal into his feet to give him a high speed boost as he propels himself towards her opponent, hitting them with a powerful headbutt. He protects his head from any damage by shifting the coat of ethernano to be the thickest at the point of impact, allowing it to absorb the energy and expel it out the back to further propel her forwards. Gul then halts the propulsion from beneath his feet to plant himself underneath the bent over opponent and release all the light in his coat to send the enemy flying up in the air. This huge release of magical pressure can launch a target about 10 feet in the air; giving Gul enough time to generate another attack, typically Illuminating Whip, to slam his target back into the ground with great force.
- Light Dragon's Piercing Shot (ライトドラゴンのピアスショット Raito doragon no piasu) is a simple one hand ranged attack in the Light Dragon's magic arsenal that allows charged up Light Dragon Magic power within the Dragon Slayer's palm to shoot in a violent blast of energy capable of burning through solid objects with ease. Exerting magic power into their palm, the user of Light Dragon's Piercing Shot contains mass amounts of power within their palm in order to prepare for the attack, with the more power being used the longer the blast will continue to shoot out from the Dragon Slayer's palm. By the looks of things, Light Dragon's Piercing Shot can also be used to burn through human targets without a problem, as shown by Gul who had used this spell to shoot down countlesss targets charging towards him, however this kind of ability of the Light Dragon's Piercing Shot can only happen when the target is around ten metres within range of the Light Dragon Slayer, any further and the target will only go through the sensation of a piercing hot burn to the targetted area. This kind of attack can be preformed in short blunt shots sort of like bullets out of a firearm or a continous blast of light that doesn't stop until the caster chooses to. Uses for this spell include a whole lot of advantages such as being a conter blast to the notorious sword beam and other beam attacks and incomprehendible one shot ability against creatures such as shades due to it's overwhelming power concerning light. Against Darkness Magic and Shadow Magic spells, Light Dragon's Piercing Shot is the most effective attack as it is one of the most light pure attacks that counter the darker elements. A spell that Gul had learned by himself, he is more than dangerous when wielding this attack as he can utelise two hands to cast this spell when the only controlled way of doing this spell with is only one.
- Light Body (明り体, Akari Karada): While performing this relatively complex and useful spell, Gul integrates his Light Magic into his flesh and fuses it with his body. In doing so, he becomes a mass of photon particles. Once he has shifted into this form, he gains the signature intangibility of the elemental magics, which allows Gul to let physical and magical attacks pass harmlessly through his body while he is transformed. This form also grants Gul some traits typical of light; capable of freely moving around at light speed, being able to travel long distances and rapidly appearing at his destination as if he was teleporting. This can act as a boost to his physical attacks as well, in which he will typically shift into his photon form and travel with an insanely high velocity to his target, shifting back a mere second prior to impact. This will give his punch an amazing amount of force behind it, capable of shattering bones or concrete, as long as he reinforces and protects his arm with ethernano prior to contact with her target. With a bit of configuration and upgrade to the technique Gul has the ability to exert this Light body into a powerful burst of energy which is capable of forcing back opponents if he was to get near them and then release. This sudden release of energy is pretty dangerous to Gul's wellbeing and caan even cost him his own life if he does this kind of move too frequently, where he will reach the point of exhaustian and even further to which he will die from an increased heart rate, shown by massive fatigue and loud heart beats.
- Photokinesis (光化学 Kōkagaku) An extremely special spell taught to him by his master, Gul has been able to configure just a small amount of the magic so that it can still benefit him though make him weaker at the same time. Gul has the ability to manipulate the light all around him, which puts him at an advantage against other users of light magic. This also makes any fire based attacks rather useless as well. Because of the light dragon slayers ability to control light on the electromagnetic spectrum, this gives him access to manipulation of infrared light. Infrared is the unique wavelength of light given off from flames that can be felt as heat. This is because the photon emission from the combustion transfers the kinetic energy from the created photons to another body, which is what we feel as heat. Even thermal radiation up to 2000 Kelvin is 99% from infrared light. So most fire attacks are rather futile against her because Theia can choose to manipulate the infrared light produced by the flames reaction and cause it to dissipate. This does come with limits however, such as she can only completely cool attacks that run up to 2000 K, making it very useful against fire attacks, as they can get up to around 1800 K. It is useless against elements such as plasma and lightning, which can get into the hundred thousands, or even millions as far as temperature. There is also a limit as to how much light he can move. An attack that spans larger than 30 square feet (which is where the flaw of his configuration kicks in) would be too large to completely cool despite the original being 40 sauare feet, but he is able to reduce the temperature a bit to lessen the damage. Having been able to confugure it in a way to benefit him, it matters not about any fire damage that strikes him as even though he would still feel the pain from the strike, he will only be able to experience and attain half the damage striked against him.
- Light Dragon Dawning Sphere (ライト・ドラゴン・ドーニング・スフィア Raito doragon dōningu sufi) A powerful spell that should only be used when in desperate needs due to how much ethernano magic particles would be needed except since Gul is a skilled ethernano manipulator and can increase and intake more ethernano than the average human mage could, nearly matching the kind of power with the spirits though not as much and configuring and changing aspects and techniques of the Light Dragon Slayer Magic art. To start off the spell Gul must exert ethernano magic aprticles into his hand as well as combining it woth Light energy in order to activate the Light Dragon Slayer Magic, with this build up of energy into his hands he releases few particles by few as they start forming up into a sphere as they atrract to eachother in order to build up more intense and dense energy collection. This giant ball of magic blinding light can get as big as Gul wants it to be as it can even reach the size of some of the biggest wyverns living on Earth Land however this requires much more ethernano magic particles to imcrease the size, but it does increase the power and damage of the built up sphere of Light magic. Just looking straight into the ball can cause a temporary blindness due to how much light is collected into the sphere that last up to half to a full hour rendering the person who looked into it vulnerable as they have lost their ability of vision which makes them defenseless to any of Gul's next attack. Aside from it's blinding appearance, Light Dragon Dawning Sphere can also light up the night sky to mimic another bright day as it resembles the light and power of the sun which can also make the night sky blue as if it was daytime. Dawning Sphere's true power however can be utilized when Gul reaches in with both hands into the sphere and pulls it apart, releasing all the contained energy and blasting the area as a massive burst of Light Magic consumes the area, burning those that are within it's reach, slowly fading the less the particles are bunched together.
- Light Drive (軽いドライブ Karui doraibu) Light Drive, which was configured by just utilizing the lacrima inside his body in order to preform it, is initiated by harnessing the power of the Dragon Slayer Lacrima which is embedded within the user's body. Upon command, the Lacrima begins to distribute the Dragon Slayer Magic Particles stored within the crystalline orb at a swifter pace, accelerating the output and flow of magic from the Lacrima to the user's body in order to enhance all of their fortes, increasing the strength, speed, and potential that the user possesses tenfold, allowing them to take on even foes much more powerful than themselves; entering a state of enhanced awareness and peak physical ability as their element cloaks around them. While in this state, the user demonstrates heightened reflexes and extremely quick information processing, and it amplifies the powers of their Dragon Slayer Magic without exhausting themselves. This state grants the user the ability to perform new spells; as well as making their pre-existing spells far more powerful, with various users only employing several skills only while in Drive. However, in the hands of an actually capable Dragon Slayer, the Drive spell would be capable of allowing the user to dish out some serious damage. However, the uprise of magical energy could easily obliterate the user or severely damage their body, if harnessed for too long. Though he is only a Second Generation Dragon, Gul has found the way to utilize it so it does not only fit for Third Generation Slayers, which many say is exclusive towards, though from constant research and observing Theia entering Light Drive herself, Gul is very much capable of reaching this kind of power in order to take opponents down.
- Light Bend (ライトベンド Raitobendo) A spell that Gul has found only capable when using his Light Drive, Light Blend has been a manipulated and enhanced Light magic spell that requires the aura that Gul's Light Drive provide as well as his concentration and influence on the Light element magic particles around him, which originate from the sun's rays which light Magic has based itself from for many years. When having casted Light Drive as a bright yellow aura starts flaring up around his body the light particles around can be ordered to withdraw closer and closer into the aura once Gul has mentally programmed the summoned aura into a light particle magnet, drawing in large amounts of light energy into its trasp as it prepares for the next step of the Light Bend spell. When drawn in Gul is able to see what these particles are like and can feel that bunched up light energy particles feel prickly and spiky as if they were shards of glass that were bunched up to eachother. With this Gul proceeds to bend the light around him gathered by his Drive aura in order to replicate the light around him effectively making him invisible to the human naked eye, which is there he can take advantage of this useful move. The spell requires constant concentration on retaining the status of the light around him while he moves around and a single major disturbance to his thought can easily disable the effects of Light Bend sending Gul back visible for his opponents. Getting hit by an attack or concentrating too hard on both retaining the Light Bend whilst studying his opponent are ways that can disturb his train of thought on the spell, but as well as coming into contact with the target will also disable it, though any other movement is perfectly fine to sustain the disguise.
- Exploding Fist (爆発の拳 Bakuhatsu no ken) Just like how Light Dragon Fist requires magic energy particles to be exerted into the fist of the mage's hand/s in order for Dragon Fist to be activated where it greatly empowers the Dragon slayer's fist as the magic particles within it intenses and gives the strike much more power and damage as it collides with it's targets. A Dragon Slayer Secret Art magic it is an extremely powerful spell for Gul to utilize in combat as it can be useful for not just melee attacks, but as well as ranged attacks if Gul is able to form the contained magic into a compact projectile which he can proceed to obliterate enemies with. The magic spells starts off just as how Dragon Fist would, with Gul exerting magic particles of ethernano and Light energy into his fist/s which greatly empowers and intensifies the fist/s as they begin to strengthen with the combined energy for his attacks. Next Gul proceeds to compact the energy within his hands so much that there is no room for space to decompress the particles and relax them which would only cause the strike to be a normal Light Dragon Fist attack due to the laid back energy particles within his hand/s, so it is very important that there is no aspect he misses for the spell as this wouldn't work put too well if he doesn't follow the steps properly. The name of the spell comes from the devastating attack and effect that the spell does whenever it collides with a solid surface as the special technique and science behind this is quite simple. When the magic energy is finally built up and tightly compact within the fist the slightest disturbance can cause the built up energy within his hands to violently burst, which Gul uses to his advantage as not only the magic within enhances his fist/s' strike due to the amount of power inside but when knocked against a hard surface will cause the magic within to burst out violently as it decimates the surface it touches due to the disturbance of the compact energy.
- Heavenly Shooting Stars (ヘブンリー・シューティング・スターズ Hebunrī shūtingu sutāzu) If one is to meet themselves facing one of Gul's most dangerous and indiscriminate attacks it might be too late for them as no normal mage is able to withstand and survive the power of Heavenly Shooting Stars, basically a mass amount of target seeking projectiles that come shooting towards their programmed objective at the speed of light, which they basically are made from. Gul starts off by condensing pure Light energy within himself in order for them to attain and acquire the special properties of the element Light itself, such as it's blinding aspect as well as it's extremely quick movement that exceeds the normal human movement allowing them to quickly strike their opponent before they are able to do anything. The more energy that Gul concentrates on condensing within his body the more stars he will be able to summon and fire at his targets as well as improving the strength of the missiles, as he focuses more on increasing the size and amount of them which greatly affect their impact. To release this attack, Gul must twist his body to the left with one hand over the other as both palms touch eachother, before quickly turning to face the forward again opening up the palm to stretch outward as the numerous amounts of missiles will shoot out from his palms in a single go as the barrage of light missiles come speeding towards their target at the speed of light all at once. Heavenly Shooting Stars are like bullets as they cut through skin and muscles as well as metal and other materials with ease, leaving gaping holes where the surface was and can leave a very nasty burn as continuous sting where they had hit their target grievously. Heavenly Stars are not known to have any disabling feature unless one might have a dispel magic with them, which in any case is recommended that one should be able to avoid getting hit by Heavenly Shooting Stars by using obstacles that are extremely dense.

- Shining Moon: Star's Rejuvenation (シャイニング・ムーン:スターの若返り Shainingu mūn:Sutā no wakagaeri) A spell that only works in broad daylight, Gul can take in the light energy particles shone off from the sun in order to deliver a devastating blast capable of burning through numerous blocks of buildings all with the power of a single move. Meddling in the forbidden laws of magic and Lost Magic, Gul was able to formulate Star's Rejuvenation through the use of unknown devices and ancient knowledge, which he incorporated into his Light Dragon Slayer Magic to make himself much more powerful as to take out enemies extremely quickly. The spell starts off with Gul taking in light from the atmosphere particularly the pure light from the sun's rays which gives the spell it's burning effect as well as it's indescribable heat with temperatures that has never been seen before, making this sort of a combination of Light and Fire magic. The way that Gul releases the magic spell is pretty simple, as he forces the magic energy that he gained from the atmosphere and sun rays into both his hands as he points them to the enemy but the things is, when shooting it his fingers must be spread out to give the blast a much bigger radius when shooting as the blast not only comes out from the palm, but his fingertips aswell. As one could probably think from the name 'Rejuvenation' it would seem that this spell is just a healing spell using the elements of light to do so, but in fact this is just one of many offensive spells that Gul uses to take down extremely tough opponents, as the Sta's Rejuvenation aims to destroy so that new life can be brought up or whatever. The blast radius that Gul can reach with the spell can be the size of a wyvern found on Tenrou, an large comparison to the normal size which means that one must be very cautious when Gul begins the spell as there is not much room to run once the blast is coming their way, destroying everything in it's path before weakening and dying out to reveal it's path of destruction. One can see the power of Star's Rejuvenation by the black ash and still lingering fires that stay in place once the blast has died out as the path is completely destroyed.

Mystan Steel Sword (ミスタンスチールソード Misutansuchīrusōdo) are the standard issue blades given to all Mystan soldiers who operate in the country of Mys, and have no real magical component to them as the use of ethernano in Mys is rarely used compared to it's presence in Ishgar. All personnel within the Mystan Government are required to carry and own a Mystan Steel Sword which are created with steel alloys which pretty much most of the blade really is, with just a few added details there really isn't anything special about the Mystan Steel Sword. Nearing the hilt of the sword, the designs seem to be a absurd mix of both the Mystan Language and the Ethernano Spirit Language, which was one of the earliest known languages in the entire universe. According to Mystan translaters, the blade's mysterious etchings seem to say "Ever-lasting Life to Our Emperor", which makes sense as the production of the Mystan Steel Sword only started when Ulo Hogi, the emperor of Mys began his conquest to unite the countries of the continent for the Mystan Government to rule over, but it is uncertain on who came up with the etchings. Besides the double edged blade, users of the Mystan Steel Sword can also resort to using the hilt for stabbing attacks, as the design of the hilt has added spikes to the sides to not only act as a crossguard but to also act as a secondary stabbing weapon which is intended if the user is up close to his enemy. Moving onto the handle, the Mystan Steel Sword has a really good grip that soldiers can hold onto with ease without losing their hold of the sword's handle, which is done by making the grip of the handle a material known as Shagreen. The pommel of the sword which is the bottom of the handle can also be used for attacking as well, as the design of the pommel has made it so that it can be used for blunt attacks such as smashing over the head of a victim or similair good stuff like that. Many Mystan soldiers who had learned the Art of the Mystan Monks utilise both their magic in partnership with their blades, making an excellent combination as magic and steel clash against the enemy, with some even having learned Manus spells that have the ability of enhancing the blade's performance.
Physical Abilities[]
Skilled Eternano Manipulation: Once the user has mastered their own magic, they are capable of drawing in ambient ethernano from the atmosphere, and instead of absorbing it into their magical origin, they are able to manipulate the eternano for offensive, defensive, and supportive purposes in any way that they wish; allowing to them harness their magic power more efficiently and utilise it in a variety of different ways; all of which incorporate the focusing of magic power into certain areas in order to achieve numerous and highly varied effects such as increased attack, defence, and speed, or feeding extra eternano into spells to give them an enormous boost in power. Generally, a magician has an easier time collecting this stray eternano in environments with higher concentrations of it such as the area where a vicious battle between others has progressed. To a master of eternano manipulation, there is no difference between simple eternano and their own magical energy as a source of power. At the absolutely highest level, a master magician's eternano prowess functions as a defence against illusions due to their sheer mastery over it, making them all but immune to everything except the strongest of fabrications. Magic Power Manipulation is a method used by some magicians to control their own magic power for a large variety of different purposes ranging from offensive and defensive, to physical or magical upgrades. It is generally considered to be a magic based style of martial arts, and not a legitimate style of magic, due to the fact that it controls and focus magic power itself, as opposed to an element or part of nature, and can affect only the magic power of the magician in question.
- Combination Spell (二魔法の合コンビネーション・スペル, Konbinēshon Superu lit. Fusion between Two Magics): A Combination Spell is exactly as it says on the tin—it is a combination between two magics, not dissimilar to that of a Unison Raid; however, it is notably somewhat weaker than a Unison Raid thanks to the user being the only mage who unleashes the spell. A Combination Spell is forged when the user focuses their first spell upon one of their hands or one of their fingers, before doing the same with the second. When this is done, the user brings them together, either by clasping their hands together, or intertwining their fingers—this causes the eternano that composes the twin spells to interact in a volatile manner, exchanging numerous particles before instantly bringing both spells together, forging a fusion of both which the user then casts at the opponent like normal. While this does fuse the two spells in order to produce a far more powerful spell, the user is capable of mixing it up a fair bit—they can choose not to combine the spells, but instead, cause the spells to impact upon their target simultaneously, causing their effects to activate right after each other—this is done by moulding the eternano particles to allow them to surge chaotically; causing the twin spells to launch through the atmosphere, randomly crashing into one another to cause a violent surging rise of magical energy numerous times before striking the opponent with amazing power. With the Combination Spell Magic Skill, the user is able to combine standard magical spells of any type, whether it be elemental or otherwise, with any spell which they have forged by themselves, enabling the user to perform enormously powerful attacks and allowing them to create almost endless combinations, keeping the opponent guessing each time.
- Transfer Method (移式, Utsushiki): The Transfer Method is a special ability that involves the manipulation of eternano—with it, the user is capable of condensing their eternano which has been focused to cast a spell or strengthen a target, and transfer it to another target; which is any being or object that they desire, granting them a decent support role. Doing so strengthens and augments the target of the user's choice, granting them the aspects and power of the condensed eternano; meaning that they can utilise the Transfer Method as a booster or a way to open up pathways to all new spells. The transfer is initiated by forming a thin line of eternano between the user and the target, sending the condensed eternano along the strands almost instantly as to reach their target immediately; however, it should be noted if the Transfer Method is utilised against a foe, the user can use the lines to swing their target around. Some powerful Mages, or certain other magical beings, by using the Transfer Method, are able to pass on Magics, often the most rare, to other Mages for them to utilise. Doing this leaves a mark in the form of a tattoo on the Mage's body that seems to fade away if they don't have access to the Magic that was given to them.
- Magical Aura (魔力の霊気, Maryoku no Reiki) A Magical Aura is a common term given to the exertion of magical energy into a form outside of Gul's body that isn't used in the formation of spells. It has been demonstrated by various mages of varying potency, and is a common means of intimidation. A magical aura is created when the body's container of Eternano particles exceeds the limits of what it contains, or is purposefully released by Gul. Upon doing so, the magical energy surges around the body and is exerted outwards in the form of an aura, which holds considerable pressure surrounding it. Depending on the level of magical power one possesses and the control behind it, it can be used as a means to intimidate another individual, or as a preparation for a powerful spell. A single magical aura can have a wide variety of effects dependent on the power an individual exerts, which will be outlined in the following sections. A standard aura is produced by mages with a moderate level of magical power within their body. By exerting it outward, it forms a thin layer of pressure that can cause one to be intimidated if they aren't a mage, or if they are a rather weak mage. This is generally demonstrated by individuals of S-Class strength when they are holding back, or when standard mages are showing that they are entering their full reserves of power. It should be noted that the density of this aura, by a S-Class mage, can cause physical attacks to be repelled with notable ease. Gul has shown that his aura is terrifying in it's own way, as his aura appears to be a form of rising smoke that rapidly shoots up from the ground as Gai's eyes become gold as they peer through the darkness and straight into his enemies' souls.
- Defenser (魔関 (ディフェンサー), Difensā lit. Magic Barrier) is a basic magic spell, and one of the first spells any magician learns—it, along with Magic Ray, are the two defining powers of a magician. When performing Defenser, the user releases their magical energy outwards, utilizing Shape Transformation in order to mold their energy into the form of a hexagonal structure that surrounds them—before their magical energy reacts with the ambient eternano saturated within the environment, solidifying the structure, causing it to take the form of a hexagonal barrier that surrounds the user's body which acts as a shield in order to defend against the attacks of the enemy. The shield itself is similar to a geodesic dome, made of tessellating hexagons. The shield protects against magic, bullets, explosions, and other projectiles—however, enemies are still capable of passing through it if they nullify their magic. Also, if Defenser successfully guards an attack, it unleashes a spray of light around the dome that does damage equal to the enemy's attack power to anything hit by the light. In fact all attacks can be reflected, with correct timing. The user can manipulate the barrier into a number of relatively simple forms: rectangular planes, cylinders, globes, domes, cones, etc; it is an extremely powerful form of defense. The complexity of the shape is limited by the user's ability to imagine, as in, mentally visualize a particular form and keep it in sharp mental focus: not even the user is able to see the forms that they create. The size of a given magical force projection is also limited by the user's ability to imagine. The smallest force projection they can visualize and maintain the visualization is the size of a marble. The largest solid force projection they can visualize and maintain is about one hundred feet in diameter. The user can project larger force-objects if they are hollow. For instance, they could visualize and project a dome one foot thick about a mile in diameter (five thousand, two hundred and eighty feet) and a dome one inch in thickness the user can project for about three point two miles. Small objects at high speeds become missiles; large objects at slow speeds become rams. The user can make these objects grow or shrink as desired. In any case, the barriers can be very complex and elaborate barriers, or very simple shaped barriers such as circles or squares. These barriers can also hide the presence of the things it coats or even make the target invisible. However, Defenser is slightly difficult to use has it can only manipulate so many magical particles at a time and it required precise timing—despite this, once the user gets the hang of casting Defenser, it will be incredibly simple to harness it in any way that they wish. However, despite being far more advanced than any other barrier, it still suffers from magical draining. The barrier can only be used for a total of one hundred and five seconds and requires one hundred and twenty seconds to cool down. If the user has no other defensive measures this leaves a window of fifteen seconds where they have no defense against attacks. A special trait of Defenser is that with any Elemental Magic, the user is capable of infusing their element into the barrier, granting it special properties that make Defenser an extremely versatile spell.
- Defenser Counter: Defenser is also capable of being utilized as a form of counterattack, allowing the user to deliver damage to the attacker when the user is hit; essentially, it is just as it is labeled; a counterattack. When performing Defenser Counter, the user kicks Defenser away from them upon the moment of the spell being activated, before returning to them as magnetized. This serves not only as a reflector, but also as an unpredictable approach to opponents. If timed correctly, it will trip opponents, leaving them vulnerable to follow-up attacks. Upon contact with the opposing technique, Defenser reverses the opponent's attack, whether it be close-range or projectile, upon them, returning it to sender, causing the user to retaliate in any way that they wish as well. If the attack is a projectile, it will simply be deflected behind them and upwards at about a thirty degree angle. It's worth noting explosive projectiles can still explode and will still do damage if they are struck when the Defenser is dissipated. If the attack is a powerful spell such as a Secret Art, then the attacker will be knocked back at a ninety degree angle. The user is capable of leaping out of the counterattack, allowing them to take the opponent by surprise. Essentially, a Defenser, when used to counter, multiplies a spell or technique's damage by one point five percent when there is a successful counter. If a projectile is reversed several times, then this method of harnessing Defenser will be rendered null and void, as the user loses the energy to retain the stance, and the projectile just passes through the stance and damages the user normally. Defenser is capable of being used for regular offense, as with it, the user is capable of knocking their opponent downwards. Defenser, when used as a counterattack, weaker when used against airborne opponents, and doesn't become invincible. It can travel through enemies unhindered, though. However, since the user kicks it, they cannot hold it in place, meaning that timing is crucial in reflecting projectiles. Note that when Defenser comes back to the user, it can also reflect any projectiles back at any angle at the last second.
Second Origin Activation (二原解放, Nigen Kaihō) is a spell exclusively mastered by those mages who possess the control and power to summon their Second Origin without it passively inducing its effects. It was first shown by Erza Scarlet, though other mages had commenced the practice as well. The rumoured Second Origin (二原, Nigen) is, in fact, wrongly named. When considering the nature of the Magic Origin (魔原, Magen), the Second Origin and its activation is simply unlocking the full extent of one's Magic Origin and power. There are a number of ways one can go about unlocking it: it can be a natural process that takes a considerable number of ways, a sudden surge of willpower during a situation of crisis or accelerating the process through magic such as the Arc of Time. However, all of these cause the passive effects of unlocking one's Second Origin to be visible. In the case of Dragon Slayers, it appears to dramatically improve one's physical prowess, but also the intensity of their magical power. However, in the case of standard mages, it vastly increases the quantity of magic they may use in any given situation for a brief period of time, giving them access to magic and equipment that can potentially rewrite the laws of magic itself, though the claim itself is debatable. In order to unlock one's Second Origin without inducing its passive effects all the time, one must firstly impose a sealing condition onto the said portion of the Magic Origin. Due to magical energy being so closely aligned with one's willpower and conviction, this is done so through a rather unique method: the Pact (盟約, Meiyaku). The Pact, in this case, is one that the user makes upon reaching the full level of potential within one's Magic Origin, which in itself takes a considerable amount of time, or emotional upheaval, to achieve. When doing so, the Pact automatically causes this portion of one's magical power to be sealed in a series of magical seals that can only be unlocked with the fulfilment of the Pact; in the case of Erza Scarlet, it appeared to be when the life of herself and her friends were in mortal danger, which enabled her to wield the fabled Nakagami Armor. However, due to the strain of the sudden outpour of magical energy within the body, this state causes one to be heavily drained following its immediate use, despite causing a notable increase in the capacity of one's magical power. However, considering that the sudden outburst of magical power within one's body is caused due to the extreme sealing caused by the Pact, one is since unable to recreate the same seal due to the strictness of the requirements. As a result, the portion of magical power sealed is then assimilated to the natural reservoir of magical energy they can access within themselves. While this causes a considerable increase in their base capabilities, given that they can induce the passive effects of the Second Origin "state", they are since incapable of such a large outburst of magical energy through natural means.
Ki no Michi (木の道, Ki no Michi lit. "The Way of the Tree") is a martial arts style created by the monks of the Minstrel Mountains. It is said that the monks created it to be an integration of their martial arts practices and the personal expression of their philosophy to "live like that of a tree. Staying sturdy with deep roots, even in the face of a growing storm or scorching sun." This fast paced, flexible style of martial arts focuses on neutralising an attack early on or using Gul's momentum and predicted trajectory to dodge said attack for a counter. It emphasises a majority of throwing techniques and joint manipulations, although the use of a mages Ki, later realised to be eternano, is of great importance when delivering an effective block or counter. Also of particular importance is the timing of a defensive technique, either to blend or to neutralise an attack's effectiveness and to use the force of the attacker's movement against him. This means that a mage must be of fast body and mind in order to read an opponents intentions and movements in order to effectively block.
- God Cedar Cranial Descent (神杉頭蓋降下, Kamisugi Tōgai Kōka): Working best as in immediate counter move to follow an opponent's momentum, however, this move does require a great deal of strength to aid in the execution. As an opponent comes in for an attack, the mage will target the leading foot and scoop one the opponents thighs with their free hand. Using the opponents momentum to aid in their ascension, the mage will lift their opponent upside down so that their head is the closest point of contact to the earth. The mage will then proceed to drop to their side or back, driving the opponent into the earth on their neck and shoulders, or on the top of their head. If executed properly this move will follow one fluid motion and can leave the opponent with severe dizziness, a concussion, cracked cranium, paralysis, or even death if the opponent happens to land in such a way.
- Great Banyan Dance (大きなガジュマルの踊り, Ōkina Gajumaru no Dansu): Beginning with an ethernano pulse from a low rise kick to the opponent's sternum, a mage is effectively knocked up into the air. Afterwards, the practitioner's moves will differ based on the opening they see. They will typically swivel gracefully to land a kick to the left side of their opponent. This will shift the opponents centre of gravity on their fall to cause them fall on their side. On the opponents decent, a backhand strike to the face will shift the opponent's body to be parallel with the ground. It finishes with a ethernano infused punch to the gut upon the opponents impact with the ground. This final blow has been seen to break ribs, and never fails to knock the wind straight out of their lungs. Mages have been seen infusing their own magic into the hits to make this dance much more lethal and powerful.
- Jaya Sri Maha Kick (ジャヤスリマハキック, Jayasurimahakikku): Once the practitioner is able to see an opening, they focus a great deal of ethernano into their leg for power, while also maintaining their centre of balance and delivers a kick at the opponent's weak spot. The only major weakness of this technique is that Gul has to focus a great deal of ethernano into his legs, forcing them to lower the power given to their arms; this can be covered by an X guarded stance, or use the free leg to block as well. With the swiftness and power concentrated into the leg, this is easily break bones if an opponent holds no defensive protection. This is also a versatile skill that can be used to launch a practitioner into the air with a vertical distance of 45 feet.
- Jōmon Sugi Thrust (縄文杉の推力, Jōmon Sugi no Suiryoku): This technique begins with an open palm uppercut to the opponent's chin at close range. Once the hand is placed against the opponent's chin, the free hand is then used to strike the connected elbow. The force created from both hands is now behind a single point that's in contact with the opponent's chin. Since the hand is already in contact with the opponent's chin, they won't be able to evade the second hit. This is a skilful move to evade a grasp, as your opponent is within range and would not be able to stand the backward force to their spinal column without releasing their hold.
- Chankiri Revenge (チャンキリ復讐, Chankiri Fukushū): With one arm cocked back, and the other extended forward, the practitioner throws a punch from the drawn-arrow stance. The mage delivers an swift punch forward to the chest, using a pulse of ethernano to knock the wind out of the chest. A swift turn of the hips will send the other hand to dig into the heart with wrist bent and elbow facing downward. The end result can lead to cardiac arrest from blunt trauma to the heart. This move does take a great skill of precision to deliver the second blow through the spacing of the ribs. So a mage must practice on a multitude of targets before delivering such a fatal blow.
- Kannimara Chord Cut (カニマラコードカット, Kanimara Kōdokatto): while in a fighting stance, the lead fist is thrown straight ahead and the arm is fully extended. With fingers extended outward, Gul covers their hand in a coat of ethernano; at the moment of impact, the pronated hand is generally held in a horizontal orientation with the palm facing the ground. The power of this attack comes from it's ability to cut the vessels of it's opponent when executed with enough force. Using two fingers can cut off blood flow until the pressure is released, three can cause severe bruising, four fingers can cut superficial nerves and vessels, and 5 finger can damage muscle fibres.
- Tembusu Mania Blitz (テンブスブリッツマニア, Tenbusu Burittsumania): This strike follows a downward push of the target's own strike by applying fierce pressure to the joint's of the target's striking limb and causing it to lose it's consecutive momentum. Afterwards, fighter had to stiff his body to it's utmost limits on the moment of impact. When the practitioner uses it at the right moment in a strike, all of his joints will be fixed. Although difficult, if done correctly,they will strike with the weight of their whole body. When the strike is covered in ethernano, and comes in contact with the water that makes up the human body, it sends a shock wave through the body that can temporarily paralyse the target.
Piguàquán (, Piguakuan lit. Chop-Hanging Fist), also referred to as Piguàzhǎng (, Piguachan lit. Chop-Hanging Palm) is the name of a form of martial arts which is focused around the use of palm strikes and explosive, long-range power. Piguàquán is a martial art which revolves around the use of palm strikes. Piguàquán is more often than not initiated by the martial artist whom wields its power assuming particular fighting stances, such as bending their knees and diagonally stretching their arms upwards, allowing them to assault foes with great force and accuracy with whipping motions from their heavy hands which are augmented by using all of the body's mass. The majority of the power of Piguàquán is derived from the forward surging kinetic forces produced by the user's arms as they accelerate forth while rotating – the user allows the laws of the world, such as gravity and momentum lead their hands forwards, keeping their arms relaxed while striking as to give the user the feeling of being light as a feather whereas their hands are as heavy as steel. As a martial art, Piguàquán's main purpose is that of unbalancing, throwing the opponent off-guard and open to attacks through strikes, locks, grappling, throws, and takedowns – however, striking is more often not the best "weapon" in a user's arsenal.
- Dān Pī Zhǎng (, Danpaichan lit. Single Splitting Palm): Dān Pī Zhǎng is a basic Piguàquán technique which involves the user lashing out with a single palm strike. When performing this technique, the user focuses for the briefest of moments, before striking outwards with an open palm that shoots forth like a bullet with a relaxed motion that's also quite limited as to ensure that the movement of the palm packs such a velocity that very few indicators of it beginning can be perceived even by the keenest of eyes; and while being launched towards the opponent, the user's arm rotates rather swiftly, generating a powerful force that grants the user's arm incredible penetrative and destructive power while still deceiving the enemy through its movements being as free as a river, giving off the visage of a lashing whip speeding towards the opponent. The motion also causes a rather prominent upsurge of gravel and the like from below the user as an exemplary trait of its incredible power and speed – with the force produced by the technique focused upon the striking open palm of the user, the attack connects with the user's target, producing incredible power that deals an enormous amount of damage, commonly winding the opponent if not straight-up blowing them away. The Dān Pī Zhǎng, as a Piguàquán technique, is capable of being utilised in various methods, such as the stationary manner, when the user is advancing, throwing the opponent alongside the move, bolstering the move with an uppercutting motion, evading and then striking, and stepping around the enemy before striking.
Reduced Earth (縮地, Shukuchi) is a basic high-speed movement technique, developed long before magic became commonplace; effectively, through the user slamming their foot upon earth ten times in a split second, they are capable of kicking off the ground in the blink of an eye and live up to the technique's name of "reduced earth" as the technique shrinks the distance between the user and their target in a split second. When performing Reduced Earth, the user focuses the majority of their body weight to one of their legs of the briefest of moments, before stomping the foot where most of their weight is focused upon the solid surface of where the user is standing at a rapid velocity before shifting the weight back to the rest of their frame, generating enough thrust to propel the user forward at incredible speeds, at least akin to a master of High Speed and defying the abilities of Slowing Magic; accelerating at velocities that are almost untraceable to reach short or long distances near instantaneously- it should be taken into consideration that in order to perform the technique at all, the user requires a solid surface to kick into and thus produce enough thrust. When performing Reduced Earth, the user focuses the majority of their body weight to one of their legs of the briefest of moments, before stomping the foot where most of their weight is focused upon the solid surface of where the user is standing at a rapid velocity before shifting the weight back to the rest of their frame, generating enough thrust to propel the user forward at incredible speeds, at least akin to a master of High Speed and defying the abilities of Slowing Magic; accelerating at velocities that are almost untraceable to reach short or long distances near instantaneously- it should be taken into consideration that in order to perform the technique at all, the user requires a solid surface to kick into and thus produce enough thrust. According to the untrained eyes of those watching on while the user performs this technique, more often than not it appears as if the user has effectively teleported using sheer power and speed alone, moving faster than anyone is capable of following as they seem to reduce the earth between the themselves and the opponent in the blink of an eye.
- Afterimage Reduced Earth (残像縮地, Zanzō Shukuchi): A variant of the bog-standard Reduced Earth high-speed movement technique- Afterimage Reduced Earth, as the name would suggest, it allows the user to produce various afterimages while in motion. When performing Afterimage Reduced Earth, the user increases the amount of times they slam their foot down upon a solid surface from ten times in a row to fifteen- this produces much more thrust, which, while it doesn't increase the user's speed when inducing the technique as it logically should, it does have an arguably more useful function-the sheer thrust produced results in the user's swift physical movements instead form an intangible and transparent distorted decoy-like doppelgänger of the user that follows their movements in accordance, remaining behind them at varying distances for the duration of the Reduced Earth technique. By themselves, the afterimages produced by this iteration of the high-speed movement are incapable of acting out of their own "will" autonomously, but rather, are an indication of the velocity that the user is moving at despite no real change in movement speed- however, that's where its true utility lies at. The afterimages produced by Afterimage Reduced Earth are capable of confounding opponents who are unable to follow the user's movements; often, it is common for an opponent to attack an afterimage in the belief that the decoy is the real deal and they are about to land a killing blow, only for it to vanish and scatter harmlessly to the winds, whereas the actual user appears somewhere else, commonly flanking the enemy's side while giving no indication of their movements, allowing the user to counterattack instantly with very little opportunity for the opponent to evade the incoming strike.
- Water Walk Reduced Earth (水歩縮地, Suipo Shukuchi): Water Walk Reduced Earth is a variant of the normal Reduced Earth technique, which, as the name would ever-so-subtly suggest, enables the user to apply the Reduced Earth ability upon the surface of water, effectively allowing them walk, or rather, dash, on water just like some other guy used to do. When performing Water Walk Reduced Earth, the user, upon any body of water that appears as if it could support a person, allowing them to shift the majority of their bodily weight to one of their feet and kick down ten times in the blink of an eye before their body becomes submerged within the water, inducing a high-speed dash that propels themselves forward in the blink of an eye. When Water Walk Reduced Earth is activated, it effectively simulates the experience of simply performing the regular Reduced Earth on a surface, with the user's motions treating the watery body beneath their feet as if it were a solid instead of the actual liquid state that it is, calmly and swiftly moving across the water- while Water Walk Reduced Earth is engaged, anything across and below the water's surface is instantly repelled, as droplets and waves does not splash across the user's body as their motions step on the water, and any threatening animal such as a goddamn shark is knocked back down to the depths if it attempts to take a chunk out of an unsuspecting user; however, once the technique is disengaged, water physics return to normal and the user can be left vulnerable.

- Wavejet Step (本職使い瞬動・噴射高速蹲踞疾走ウェーブジェット・ステップ, Uēbujetto Suteppu lit. Professional-Usage Instant Movement Technique: Jet-Propelled High-Speed Crouching Sprint): The Wavejet Step is a very useful high-speed movement technique that is classified as a martial arts-based ability revolving around the user's steps that can be performed as long as the user has some sort of supernatural energy fuelling their movements, whether it be magical power, curse power, or even good ol' fighting spirit- but what Wavejet Step is, is a jump that is canceled by descending instantly so that the user never leaves the ground, resulting in a sliding motion that produces smoke at the user's feet and a freakishly swift burst of brief acceleration for three seconds. It is regarded as a high-level advanced technique that only those deeply engrossed with close-range combat that is superior to all 'traditional' forms of speed-enhancing powers such as High Speed and Slowing Magic because it allows the user to perform any ground action while moving horizontally on the ground. In any case, the Wavejet Step is performed by the user ascending to the skies in an extremely short hop that ideally shouldn't have them raise more than ten centimetres above the ground- from here, the user gathers and condenses their supernatural energies of choice upon the soles of their shoes/feet, before they shift a majority of their weight to their legs, descending upon the ground as swiftly as they entered the air, giving off the appearance of never having left the ground- but indeed, upon contact with the ground, the shock of the impact releases an airhorn-like sound as it transfers the momentum that the user had accumulated via briefly hopping into the air into a swift strafing movement of ground-based movement, sliding long the ground without walking or running; resulting in a sliding motion that produces smoke of varying colours at the character's feet. The length of time that a user slides by harnessing Wavejet Step is determined by a number of factors: by the angle at which they charged energies into their feet -with low angles yielding longer Wavejet Steps- how close to the ground they were before charging -the closer the user, the longer their Wavejet Step- and finally, the character's traction -low traction yields long streams of movements, while high traction yields shorter slides. One use of Wavejet Step by itself is not particularly useful; it is when the move is repeated rapidly that it becomes both impressive and supremely practical, and it is capable of being harnessed for a near immeasurable amount of purposes- it is useful for quickly escaping from close combat with an opponent, and it can get a user to the end of an area to the other faster than any other type of movement; the Wavejet Step can also be harnessed in order to avoid anything in the user's way that would impede their movements, enabling each and every one of their actions and movements while under the effect of the Wavejet Step being precise as humanly possible. It can lead into many combos and techniques; and because by harnessing the Wavejet Step, the user is technically standing as they slide, they can perform any ground attacks that could normally be performed from a standing position while retaining all of their standing defensive manoeuvres- a skilled user can use another high-speed movement while under the effects of the Wavejet Step as well. A skilled user can take the concept of manoeuvrability derived from the Wavejet Step a step further, harnessing the techniques to dodge enemy attacks and set up a counterattack; after a while, it becomes instrumental in characters' combos and their defence. Those who are slow can rely on the Wavejet Step in order to extricate themselves from difficult situations. Additionally, the concept of hopping into the air before descending instantly towards the ground provides a useful segue from a character's aerial combat to their basic ground combat. However, Wavejet Step can be interrupted, but mind-games and mix-ups can trick the opponent. All of this combined to make harnessing the Wavejet Step a very rapid mind-game aspect that is difficult to counter; generally, a fighter harnessing the Wavejet Step in rapid succession means that they possess above-average skills.
- Boundless Speed-of-Sound Reduced Earth (无疆音速縮地, Mukyō-Onsoku Shukuchi): Boundless Speed-of-Sound Reduced Earth is a variant of Reduced Earth- no, it is the highest point of progression for the Reduced Earth technique, being touted as the "supreme form of ultimate speed" without any drastic modifications to the technique; and can only be used by a true master of the ability of "Reduced Earth"; effectively, it enables the user to move at the speed of sound, leaving a sonic boom in their wake. When performing Boundless Speed-of-Sound Reduced Earth, the user assumes the position of crouching their knees, leaning forward before they induce the usual Reduced Earth motions by transferring a majority of their weight into one of the feet, before kicking down on a solid surface- only in the case of this version, the user only kicks down nine times rapidly; after this point, the user performs a small hop up and down, dragging out the noise released by their foot slamming against the surface so that the sound of their feet smashing upon the ground isn't heard until after their feet have left the surface once more. Once the sound lag has reached the pinnacle of its existence, the user leaps forward with what appears to be the normal Reduced Earth motions, producing a powerful sonic boom that results in a shockwave resonating throughout the area, destroying anything that the sonic boom comes into contact with, uprooting trees and demolishing everything that its area-of-effect touches, effectively destroying anything in-front and behind the user with a powerful echo. The motion itself propels the user at five times boosted the regular speed of Reduced Earth, almost invisible to the naked eye at a velocity that gives the user the appearance of a supersonic bullet shooting towards the enemy at the speed of sound as the name would suggest; propelling themselves towards their target at inconceivable speeds, dashing across the battlefield while gliding over the ground. Because when inducing Boundless Speed-of-Sound Reduced Earth, the user moves faster than the eye can see, the opponent won't be able to react until after the user has already hit them. Unlike other iterations of Reduced Earth, the velocity gained by utilising the Boundless Speed-of-Sound Reduced Earth technique also increases the user's strength considerably for the duration of the movement; allowing a user to defeat an opponent in one blow depending on the foe's strength level. This speed produced by this version of Reduced Earth is noted to be something completely different than mere speed-enhancing techniques; in fact, a "teleportation beyond teleportation".
Sword Pressure (剣圧, Ken'atsu): When performing the Sword Pressure technique, the user swings forward with their sword, swinging the blade so swiftly that it seems that the user is able to utilise air itself to slice enemies, focusing a current of wind to the point where it takes on a sharp edge, which the user launches at foes; sending it through the air towards the user's enemy. It is a powerful blade of pressure that appears as faint ripples of wind that is launched towards the foe at high speeds; this attack enables the user to assault things which are out of their sword's range, sending slashes which fly through the air itself; and can even remain floating in it until the right moment to slash. The person struck by the sword pressure is assaulted by countless invisible blades which happens so fast that they would normally be unable to properly react in time, carving up their body. Also, the strong wind power will blow away all incoming projectile weapons and will even make the opponent unable to stay on their feet; this technique possesses enough power to slice down many trees in a forest. This technique can deflect both physical and sound wave attacks and attack at the same time, making it both an offensive and defensive technique. These blades of wind possess incredible range and devastating power; and at its highest level of mastery, the sword pressure is capable of cutting through barriers of magical energy; and they can even remain floating within the air until the right minute to slash.
- Sword Pressure: Blade Concealing Gale (剣圧・刃隠風, Ken'atsu: Jinkakupū): A special application of Sword Pressure. When performing this attack, the user gathers and condenses their magical power into one of their swords, before using it as a magnet of sorts in order to draw enormous amounts of air towards it—using Shape Transformation, the user moulds it upon their blades, compressing multiple layers of wind into air of a super-high pressure onto the blade, which distorts the refraction of light and renders what's inside the multiple layers of wind invisible to the naked eye. The moment that the wind is moulded upon the sword, it takes upon the shape of the armament and renders it as an invisible weapon that emits no secondary effect—not even sparks will fly off of it, and no clashing sound will be heard. The technique itself is known to be exceedingly simple in regards to its execution, but that, along with its effectiveness in combat, for the record, the winds compressed upon the sword are not a vacuum, so the air which is always whirling around the armament grants it a rather notable boost in power. Due to the slicing winds surrounding the armament, the damage emitted is increased, and so is the cutting power—and it also has the side-effect of being more difficult to evade, as the winds can expand their range at a moment's notice. However, its true purpose is what makes it so deadly—due to the sword being, well, invisible; it is indeed extremely difficult to counter for people whom are unfamiliar with the nature of the attack, as they are left unable to successfully defend themselves from a weapon which cannot be seen. The opponent would fail to analyse or discern the properties of the armament, which would leave them constantly on the defence against the user, relying only on their movements in order to develop a proper counter for their strikes—this causes them to become confused regarding the user's attacks and defending actions, and thus, they are required to stay out of the user's strike range in order to stop themselves from being defeated rather easily. Lastly, Sword Pressure: Blade Concealing Gale makes it possible to manifest the multiple layers of wind on something other than the user's weapon. For maximum effectiveness, Blade Concealing Gale is best utilized with a weapon that is capable of shifting its size, or a morphing weapon, adding another layer of unpredictability to this spell. At any time, the user is capable of releasing the layers of Blade Concealing Gale in order to activate one of two special attacks, as listed below.
- Strike Gale (統帥風王の六重鉄槌ストライク・ゲイル, Sutoraiku Geiru lit. Indeed, the air pressure unleashed by releasing the windy layers around the user blade take upon the form of large yet immensely sharp blades of wind which not only possess a large amount of pushing power, but they move so fast that the movements of the blades are invisible, and it truly seems like the user shoots their opponent with a bullet from all directions, except that the resulting impact is not akin to an actual pistol, but to a small hand-held cannon and powerful enough to propel the unlucky recipient several meters away. The incredible speed both makes the strike far more powerful, and harder to dodge; connecting instantly with the target. This attack possesses incredible power, able to tear through non-magical armours with relative ease. The hit of this technique will have more of an impact on actual magical defences since it is sharper and larger than regular blades of Sword Pressure. It is a very useful technique that can connect rapidly and accurately, which works well with their impressive speed and agile techniques. Strike Gale serves as a medium-to-long range attack with a consistent amount of damage that isn't influenced by the user's physical condition of the magical energies left within their magic origin; while it is capable of being deflected normally, it is best defended against by using a high level of magical energy. What should be noted is that Strike Gale applies enough knock back to force opponents out of range and away from the user within seconds, and can then keep them away from the user without hope of getting near them due to how it doesn't cause flinching—though this will only last for a few moments. Interestingly, after unleashing Strike Gale, the user is capable of re-summoning their Sword Pressure: Blade Concealing Gale by compressing the surrounding air to reform the invisible barrier.
- Slipstream Accel (高速上空鉄砲弾歩スリップストリーム・アクセル, Surippusutorīmu Akuseru lit. High Speed Upper Air Gunshot Stride): Slipstream Accel is further extension of Sword Pressure: Blade Concealing Gale—when performing Slipstream Accel, the user assumes the position of crouching their knees, leaning forward, and holding one of their blades in a behind stance, with both hands grasping the sword's grip- in this position, the user releases the multiple layers of wind around the blade, causing the previously compressed wind to surge around their body chaotically; when this is done, the user does a short hop up and down, dragging out the noise so that the sound of their feet tapping on the ground isn't heard until after their feet have left the floor again. Once the sound lag is at its fullest, the user leaps forward with a powerful forward boost while the user charges forward, accelerating their towards their opponent, enabling them to move at thrice their regular speed, if only momentarily. This movement is known to be at exceedingly high speeds; almost invisible to the naked eye at a velocity that gives them the appearance of a supersonic bullet shooting towards the enemy at the speed of sound; it produces a sonic boom that echoes outwards for several meters, destroying everything in front of and behind themselves, propelling the user into their opponent at inconceivable speeds. Because they move faster than the eye can see, the opponent won't be able to react until after the user has already hit them. Slipstream Accel is excellent for getting the jump on the opponent. If working together with another person, the partner can use the vacuum left behind by the attack to immediately rush in behind it by using the surge of air taken in by the vacuum as a Slipstream.
- Heaven-Shaking Slash (動天斬, Dōtenzan) is a Sword Magic spell of considerable destructive power. The Heaven-Shaking Slash lives up to its name quite clearly; its a slash so powerful everything trembles in its wake. Unlike several Sword Magic spells, it can be utilized with any sword so long as the user is capable of manifesting the required energy to make use of it properly. The Heaven-Shaking Slash works by concentrating an excess of magical power into one's blade, creating surges of magical energy leaking out of the medium which the spell is being used from. From therein, the user makes a slash, generally vertical, against the opponent in question. The slash builds up an extraordinary amount of momentum from the movement that goes behind it, therefore releasing destructive shockwaves of kinetic energy which can slice through inanimate objects such as trees and even steel with some effort. While the spell is very powerful and effective, inappropriate use can easily lead to fatigue and unwanted destruction of the surrounding environment.
Immense Strength: Gul is extremely strong as he is capable to breaking through rock and stone with his bare fists. His strength allows him to stand against more powerful forces against him such as strong winds and extremely strong strikes against his position, standing firmly on the ground after having collided with such power. He has also shown the capability of break apart long blades and even magical firearms in half with ease, also using his strength to meddle and mess up internal mechanics and machinery inside machines such as robots and even bombs used against him. He displays this power usually through denting the ground, which many mages of incredible show by usually slamming their fist or foot onto the ground which causes a small shake in the ground and atmosphere as small gusts of wind weakly push against those around them. This can also shown through the powerful clap as Gul slams both hands against each other which can provide an extremely loud sound wave capable of eliminating another sound around his area, also eliminating any wind attacks coming his way as wind from the clap has the ability to cancel out air projectiles aimed at him. It also can clear out any gasses in the room, clearing out fog or smoke in just seconds if he finds himself blinded by dense collections of gas around him.
Superhuman Agility: A term referring to the combined aspects of Gul's extreme speed and his gracefulness or flexibility, Gul has shown that he can be quite vastly skilled with this as he uses his agility in the battlefield to quickly dodge incoming strikes to his person to avoid getting himself hurt. His agility helps him cross the battlefield with such ease that it is almost like he is a ghost, moving through the combatants on the field without a bit of worry expressed on his face, moving silently and gracefully across the field as he dodges the strikes. His agility also allows Gul's reflexes to become extremely better as he can react to instances in a flash, being able to catch shots as well as dodge speeding bullets must he be able to realise them before they get too close.
Immense Stamina: Along with his infinite like magic supply, that stops Gul from going tired too quickly Gul also has an increase in stamina, making him less tired from a constant use of physical activity. With this enhancement Gul can outlast a standard melee fight against his opponents, without getting tired from throwing punches and dodging throws from the challenger.
Extreme Endurance: Gul can take in several hits and strikes to body as much as he wants as due to intense training that Gul had put himself through, he can take nearly anything to his body without reacting in pain, which he has shown countless times during many battles. From both Magical and Physical strikes, Gul can go one fighting whilst still receiving strikes from left, right and centre all at the same time as he makes his way to the enemy, but attacks that prove to be far too deadly for Gul do seem to be the only attacks that get through and actually hurt him, though Gul does try his best instead to show no pain even if it is going past his limits of excruciating. Gul is able to show that he can catch a strengthen punch with one hand, a feat accomplishable to many extreme wizards who have trained their body enough to face such matters.
Keen Observation: With eyes like a hawk, Gul look around the area to know if anything has been changed and misplaced, using the changes in the environment in order to sense any potential threats to his wellbeing. His keen observation also makes well with his gun arm as he uses his precise eyes in order to shoot devastating shots right at the enemy, with many of these shots either aimed to the head or heart. His keen eye also allows Gul to study his opponents carefully in order to learn something new about them so that he may use it to refer to future businesses with them must he need to. This gives him the chance in order to prepare an attack must he see that the opponent is too also getting ready for an attack of their own against Gul, as Gul can counter the attack must he see fit.
Immense Durability: Besides his immense strength and stamina, Gul's most identifiable aspect is his immense durability which allows him to take in several hundred hits to his body before breaking down in pain, allowing him to last longer in fights and outmatch his opponent must they share the same pain. This immense durability allows Gul to easily stop incoming missiles of magic with just his body as well as high speed projectiles which he can stop with just the catch of his hand, creating the appearance of a god-like figure that is immune to pain. With this aspect Gul can fall from several feet from the air and get back up as if nothing happened, allowing him to get back into the fight quickly as he brushes himself off from the fall. This Immense Durability can allow even all mighty powerful attack beams collide into his hand continuously as he carried on to stand firmly on the ground against the powerful attacks, even going as far as to stand well against the mighty force of a Dragon Roar, only having been pushed back a few steps before gaining footing, showing how well Gul has trained his body to be able to cope with situations like this.
