The House of Xava (ほゆす おうふ ざば Xava no Ie) is a powerful, extremely influential, and notably infamous family. They stand alongside the House of Vista as one of the most famous and powerful noble families in the Kingdom of Fiore and the continent. The Xava family has a historic pedigree of legendary mages, and can trace back their history as far as 400 years. A defining trait of this family is that all its' descendants are born with a high aptitude for the magical arts and abnormally strong magical power. However, the Xavas are known to have an aura of darkness around them and have made countless enemies as a result. They are not popular among the common people, as they respect only power, reputation, and status. Unknown to most, the Xavas dabble in the criminal underworld, and hold great influence among the underbelly of the world of magic. Though they still take out dark guilds that threaten the common peace and stability of Fiore.

The Xava Manor is set up into various levels. The lowest level is has an archway and a small tower, the second one has another archway, this time sporting a clock, and the third and final level is where the actual palatial residence is located. All three levels are in a solid chrome color. The interior of the mansion is elegantly decorated and very beautiful. There is a swimming pool with a large lion turtle statue located next to it. There is also a obstacle course of sorts located far into the mansion's grounds, this is meant for training.

Behind the Scenes

Simply put, the Xava family is more or less the moral opposite of the Vistas. Majority are snobs of some sort; don't care about flaunting their money around. I wanted a mage family that danced around the line of good and bad-- it's a fine line, as they say. They're not rivals per se, but they can be political opponents of the Vista at times. While the Vistas are a family of heroes, the Xava are a family of snobs, misfits, assholes, and a few heroes. They were partly inspired by the Zoldyck family in Hunter x Hunter and the Yato Clan in Gintama, at least that's where I first got the idea for them from.
