Hyperion is a Celestial operating along the edges of the multiverse. Brother to Order, Chaos, and Presence, he is one of the original beings; considered ancient even among his fellow Celestials. Among his race, he is known as the progenitor of light: be it manifest, concept, or even theory. As such, he maintains a high degree of influence in the present universe, often walking among the worlds and realms of creation to see what they have to offer. Be it to offer counsel to those who sought him out, giving his blessing for those he favored, or smiting those who earned his ire — his continued interest in Creation would make his presence in the multiverse a continued one.

And yet, as eons passed and the universes continued to expand and develop, so too would his interest deepen. As a young woman caught his attention, desire came to be and it would not be long before he sought out to make her his lover. In the end, the love affair would culminate in the birth of a daughter who bridged the divide between mortal and celestial. However, the joyous occasion would be made into a cautionary tale as his newborn child proved herself as inheriting his might, and incinerated her own mother. While he managed to save her soul, the damage was done and he soon realized just what it was that he'd brought into being. Taking the soul of his beloved, he fled; retreating and leaving his daughter to face her fate on her own. Since then, he has led a solitary life on the outskirts of the multiverse, cloaked even from his siblings.

• His name comes from the Hyperion of Greek legend, the Titan of Light who fathered Helios, Selene, and Eos.
• Appearance wise, his avatar is based off of Grand Lancer Romulus from the Type Moon franchise
