Ishvaria (アイシュワリヤ, Aishuwariya) is one of the largest countries located in an unknown continent to the north of Alakitasia. Not much was able to collected on the advanced civilization as they vast kingdom tended to keep to themselves except for the rare occasion of trading or travelling. It's considered the Ancient Country (古代の国, Kodai no kuni) due to being one of the main and original countries to have been founded 400 years ago. Despite having had a remarkably advanced society for their era, the entire population of Ishvaria was mysteriously left in the fragmented legends of neighboring countries. It was even thought that the entire race of Ishvarian people were wiped out as well, until they begin to steadily reappear and begin rebuilding their society around 200 years after its disappearance. Not many people know of the countries revival, which is why many doubt it even existed at all.
They are known for their extravagant architecture and opulence in designs, as well as their immense wealth and political power, giving rise to thousands of influences seen throughout lands such as even Ishgar. Ishvaria's popultion reaches to 143.5 million, easily surpassing the sizes of other countries, and earning it the title as one of the (if not the one) largest countries of Earthland. The sheer land size of the country reaches to approximately 17,075,200 mi² in area sq.km. to which a bast majority remains countryside and forestry, due to the peoples respect for nature.

It was formerly run by a monarchy government until it was overthrown by a new and corrupted government, led by the Sin Talán Avaric, also the leader of one of the biggest crime syndicates in the country of Ishgar. The Crown Prince is the only known survivor of the royal family, but has thus been exiled after they failed to kill him.
