Biography[]
Appearance[]
Kasumi is a tall young man of average stature with light blue, wavy hair that was swept back to flow upwards above his head resembling a cloud with two shorter, ear-length tufts left hanging downwards to frame his face. He usually wore an expression of excitement, possessing a large, teeth-bearing grin and semicircular, inward-tilting blue eyes that were often squeezed shut. His clothing consist of a closed dark blue martial arts Gi, secured by a black knot-tied obi over his waist, boots, and black fingerless gloves. He also wore a black undershirt and a dark brown aviator jacket with white fur lining, and, on his head, a blue aviator hat with large mufflers and an opening that allowed his hair to protrude from the top. His guild mark is located on his left hand.
Personality[]
Despite his cheerful appearance, Kasumi is a stoic and straightforward person who is always dozing off and acting exhausted when awake. He is constantly sighing and refrains from tiring work. Kasumi is apathetic, and hardly ever outwardly expresses how he feels. When he does, it's normally done in an impassive-seeming manner as well and thus makes it seem like he's mature at best and emotionless and uncaring at worst. Despite being exhausted all the time, Kasumi shows a surprising dedication to maintaining his lifestyle and daily routine. Surprisingly enough, and despite his usual cold demeanor, he has proven countless times to be a very sensitive, considerate and understanding person. Despite his apathetic nature, Kasumi has shown on certain occasions that he is not devoid of all his emotions such as happiness or humor, often smiling and laughing around other guildmates after they have amused him or he has played a trick on them.
Magic and Abilities[]

Heat Immunity: As an steam dragon slayer, Kasumi is immune to heat magic and hot temperatures, with the prior powering him up and healing him while the other can rejuvenate him.
Steam Dragon Slayer Magic[]
Steam Dragon Slayer Magic (蒸気の滅竜魔法 Jōki no Metsuryū Mahō) is a Caster Type Magic, Lost Magic, Ancient Spell and a type of Dragon Slayer Magic that allows the user to utilize the element of steam.
Spells[]
Basic Spells[]
- Steam Dragon's Roar (蒸龍の咆哮 Jōkiryū no Hōkō): Steam Dragon's Roar is a Steam Dragon Slayer Magic Spell,it is the Stream Dragon's exclusive Dragon's Roar which incorporates the element of steam itself. The user begins to suck the air eiter gently and slow or very hard and fast as they gathers air inside their mouth and will then release that air at his target's direction creating a quite large horizontal steam like hurricane which is capable of pushing back, slicing, burning and bursting the opponent away pretty much like a heated tornado. Much like other Dragon Slayers, The user is capable of doing this spell in two ways, the first way the user does by putting their right hand before their mouth before he releases the compressed steam which now will need to pass through his fingers, the air is expelled as a compressed gust of corrosive mist thin enough to pass the user's fingers, this version is shown to be capable of cutting things far more easily. The second version doesn't require any hand or pose at all therefore the user will simply burst the corrosive mist out of his mouth in a large and powerful misty hurricane, it is shown to hit more targets than the first version as this one is bigger albeit its power is not too much concentrated, however upon practice, the user has been capable of manipulating his roar in a variety of ways by manipulating its shape, range and even the course the spell can take.
- Steam Dragon's Corrosive Fist (蒸龍の腐敗拳 Jōkiryū no Fuhai): Steam Dragon's Corrosive Fist is a Basic Steam Dragon Slayer Magic Spell and is considered one of the user most used spells despite being an simple one. The user will start it by gathering steam around their own arm, compressing it around such limb causing it to gain an transparent-like skin. They then punch straightly or move towards their target in order to hit him/her preferably in the torso or the face, upon collision the corrosive mist will be decompressed as an impact of sorts to the target, this plus with the force of the user’s punch. If the user is not near their opponent, users can opt to launch their punch as an stream of corrosive mist and as it will go towards the opponent, it will gain more speed and force resulting in a more devastating blow which can break through many hard surfaces.
- Steam Dragon's Claw (蒸龍の鉤爪 Jōkiryū no Kagitsume): When performing this spell, the user engulfs his foot with high-velocity corrosive mist, rotating and controlling the direction of the steam gathered upon their foot long enough to levitate themselves off the ground and remain in the air for as long as they wishes to maintain it, before proceeding to assault the opponent with a powerful steam-enhanced kick, with the winds greatly augmenting the power of said kick. The user can also create steam from their feet, greatly enhancing speed and allowing him to jet-propel in any direction that he wants. This makes it easier for thr to get close to opponents that he wishes to engage in close combat. Steam Dragon's Claw can be used for a variety of purposes: they can fly around freely at high speed, cross long distances in short times, remain out of enemy's range and evade their blows, as well as reach otherwise unreachable places via the propulsion that is gained when utilizing this spell.
- Steam Dragon's Wing Attack (蒸龍の翼撃, Jōkiryū no Yokugeki): When performing this spell, the user rushes towards their opponent; while doing so, he produces a large stream of corrosive mist from each of their arms, which, when it comes in contact with the foes, shreds them through the high-velocity wind, and at the same time sends them flying away behind them and burning them due to the blunt force and corrosive aspect of the mist which is manifested. The corrosive mist takes the rough form of a pair of Dragon's wings, thus the name of the attack. This spell can also by employed by the user first grabbing the targets' heads and then producing the corrosive mist to strike them, as they jumps into the air, and then unleashes two streams of mist from their hands, subsequently swinging such streams at the opponent and blowing them away.
- Steam Dragon's Crushing Fang (蒸龍の砕牙 Jōkiryū no Saiga): A melee spell in which the user covers one of their hands and then moves it before him in an arc, striking with the finger tips, and hitting the enemy and leaving a wake of corrosive mist behind as they does so. This spell is very similar to the Fire Dragon's Crushing Fang spell as displayed by Fire Dragon Slayer Magic.
- Steam Dragon's Propulsion Blow (蒸龍の推進吹きJōkiryū no Suishin fuki): The user creates intense, bursting steam from their elbow, boosting the striking power of the corresponding bare punch, which they then use to strike the target, who is then sent flying (at least) several meters away from the user.
- Steam Dragon's Twin Wings (蒸龍双翼 Jōkiryū Sōyoku): While using this spell, the user coating their fingertips with boiling hot steam and attacks their target with their burning claws, the claw attack is followed with a corrosive mist right behind it.
- Steam Dragon's Steam Rolling (蒸龍の蒸気圧延 Jōkiryū no Jōki Atsuen): The user jumps in the air and, when they are upside down, gathers steam on their legs and kicks the opponent while rotating. This spell is highly similar to the Dragon's Claw Spells employed by several other Dragon Slayers.
- Steam Dragon's Eruption (蒸龍の 噴火Jōkiryū no Funka): The user forms a ball of steam in their hand and throws it at the ground, where it bursts into a geyser of corrosive mist that hits the target from underneath, throwing them into the air, whilst simultaneously damaging them.
Advance Spells[]
- Steam Dragon's Mist Bomb (蒸龍の霧爆弾 Jōkiryū no Kiri Bakudan): A spell, which can be used as a result of Corrosive Fist changed strikes or as a different spell. The user creates a compressed ball of corrosive mist by moving their hands together in a circular motion. The bombs resemble small white suns. These misty bombs tend to rotate around the user and can be freely controlled to attack the opponent. The explosion produced by the mist bombs can be used in different ways, being able to create smokescreens to blind an opponent or to burn them.
- Steam Dragon's Vapor Grenade (蒸龍の蒸気手榴弾 Jōkiryū no Jōki shuryūdan):A spell, which is serves as an alternate usage of Mist Bomb Spell. The user creates a mist bomb in the palm of one of their hands. The bomb will dissipate if it collides with something, even if it's an unintended target releasing a burst of steam that burns and damage the opponent.
- Steam Dragon's Boiling Medusa (蒸龍の 沸騰海月Jōkiryū no Futtō Kurage): Spreading their arms outs, the user creates a great magnitudes of grey colored jellyfishes. These medusas burst upon contact to anything releasing the heated steam within similar to the Mist Boms. Alternatively, they can combine them into a huge medusa that restrains targets and showers them with boiling hot steam and if they wishes, they can allow the boiling steam inside it to swell to cause an explosion.
- Steam Dragon's Shifting Cloud (蒸龍の漂流靄 Jōkiryū no Hyōryū Moya): A spell that severes as a mode of transportation for the user. The user starts by gathering steam in the center of their hands and shapes it into the form of a large cloud. Using this cloud, the user can fly around at high speeds and even use the cloud as some sort of shield or cover by covering themselves with the cloud temporarily blocking their opponent vision.
Poisonous Steam Dragon Mode[]
Poisonous Steam Dragon Mode (モード有毒な蒸気, Mōdo Yūdokiryū) When accessing Poison Dragon Slayer Magic, Kasumi enters a dual slayer mode known as Poisonous Steam Dragon Mode. This form of Slayer Magic combines the effects of both magics into a single form. Noteably, Kasumi undergoes a partial transformation mainly consisting of their hair turning a misty purple, teeth becoming sharper with noticeable fangs and the sclera and eye turning completely yellow in color. Another difference is that the steam he produces is now a deep rich purple. In this mode, Kasumi's magic is now heavier, resulting in even more blunt damage against his targets.
