Kinmen (金面, Gold Face), real name unknown, is a Mage of unknown origins and occasionally, Captain Marvelous' sidekick, assisting him when he is needed. Known as the Demon Eyes of the Forest (魔お目の森, Maome no Mori), he is a practitioner of Spirit Slayer Magic, particulary Wood Spirit Slayer Magic, having been taught by a nature spirit, whom he affectionally nicknames "Mother".
Kinmen primarily works on his own, apparantly being a good guy, judging by his actions involving fighting Dark Mages for no pay whatsoever, and occasionally a part time job at a store or restaurant to make some money. Known for his showy and distinguishable appearance, he is well liked by the masses.
