Markia(マーキア (Mākia)is the capital city of East Crest and the main location of the Rune Knight military training programs and the Magic Council Military Defense Line which is run by Blanco Quinten, who was a former Rune Knight. Blanco along with several other knights protect Markia, East Crest and several other cities and villages from danger, but not many of the cadets who go out to do damage control know magic. Blanco's main squad does not head out into battle unless consequences are extremely dire, but Blanco himself is almost always on the scene helping out. Markia is also home to a famous guild called Miracle Fish which is run by Jordan Strife and his sister Carly Strife, who were taken in by the Magic Council after their parents were killed in a devastating storm west of Markia.
