Moon Wolves are an advanced species of wolves, known for their strength and intelligence.
Overview[]
Moon Wolves have pure white fur, with red eyes and black sclera, and black markings around their eyes. They are much larger and smarter than normal wolves. They are mostly known for their fighting skill and power. Also they are the only creatures capable of teaching the Lost Magic Lycanthropy to humans, but due to them rarely involving themselves with humans, only two people have learned this magic in the current era.
Moon Wolves are considered to be some of the most powerful creatures in Earth Land. Their considerable power made their pelts very desirable, but no man has still managed to claim a Moon Wolf pelt. As the teachers of this magic, Moon Wolves are also capable of using Lycanthropy themselves. Due to this, Moon Wolves are normally nocturnal, hunting only at night when their powers are at their fullest.

Moon Wolves are split into various tribes. Each tribe of Moon Wolves have their own sub abilities and customs.
Lupin Tribe[]
The Lupin tribe is the Moon Wolf tribe that Jack Lupin belongs to. They are much more physically powerful, and larger than ordinary Moon Wolves. They focus on physical might, and agility as other then their enhanced strength, they possess no unique abilities. Moon Wolves from this tribe are much kinder than most however, as they took in Jack as a baby to raise him. They also are more prone to avoid humans then pick fights with them.
Mist Tribe[]
The Mist Tribe is the most savage of all Moon Wolf tribes, and the one that Armin Fenris belongs to. Their unique ability to turn into a mist, and use it both offensively and defensively is what gives them their name. This tribe's feral nature is attributed to their willingness to hunt any animal for food, even humans an other Moon Wolf tribes. It was this attitude that they passed onto Armin Fenris, and why he is a cannibal.
Mars Tribe[]
The Mars Tribe is known as the strongest Moon Wolf tribe. Unlike most Moon Wolf tribes, the Mars tribe utilizes a red energy instead of a blue one. Their unique ability is to absorb energy directly from the sun, instead of just that which comes from the moon, making them at full power all hours of the day, and the only tribe to switch between night and daytime activities. Their red energy is similar to fire, and allows them to burn enemies as well as use the Moon Drip ability. The Mars Tribe is led by a Moon Wolf named Romulus, the strongest Moon Wolf alive.
