- "What delightful agony will I inflict today?"
Ponos (ポノス Ponosu) is one of the servant mages of the Ravenclaw Family and a member of the Raven Talon Knights, a team of mage knights that are the strongest among the family's mages, being the one that retained it as one of the Six Great Families and their disappearance caused the family's now ruined state.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Pono's past except that he made a name for himself by hunting magic creatures and one day found a black wyvern, a type of wyvern born once a century as a result of mutation, that proved to be the strongest foe he ever faced. During the battle, he managed to kill the beast in exchange of most of his body's functionality, but he had others create an armor from the beast's body parts that bonded with him and with which he could walk again while he became famous for the bloody red spear he had created from the wyvern's bones. His fame eventually gained Victor Ravenclaw's attention who after subduing him in combat, made him join the family and the Raven Talon Knights.
Appearance[]
Ponos has the appearance of a black hooded man with an exposed, tanned upper body with various red symbols and light red eyes with red markings beneath them. The rest of his body along with his hands is encased in a black and red armor that sports black and red spike protrusions along with a tail. Finally, he has shark like teeth and a black cape with red feathers on the top. He always carries a scarlet, barbed lance with three spikes on each side of its top.
Personality[]
Ponos is a bloodthirsty individual, feeling alive in the heat of battle which he always seeks. He is also an attention seeker, wanting to have the attention of allies or enemies and even has created a small squad that exists to praise and cheer him in every fight. However, his defining trait is his sadistic nature, doing anything to inflict as much physical and psychological pain as possible to those he faces before killing them gruesomely.
Magic & Abilities[]
Great Magic Power: As a member of the Raven Talon Knights, Ponos possesses great amounts of magic power. He could use his spells numerous times while his magic power is red in color and feels like draining the blood from those near it.
Master Spearmanship: Ponos is an incredibly skilled spear user, with him using it all his life. His skill is such that he can use it to deflect projectiles or weaker spells and use it to do aerial maneuvers by using it as base while he could fight against Roxanne and Diana with ease even though they themselves are skilled swordswomen.
Requip[]
Requip (換装 Kansō) is a Caster Magic and Spatial Magic that allows its users access to a personal storage vault of sorts inside of a pocket dimension, allowing them to contain items and equipment within. Ponos uses it to bring out or store his spear.
Equipment[]
- Black Wyvern Armor: A black and red armor that sports black and red spike protrusions along with a tail made from the body parts of the black wyvern slain by Ponos while there is a blood red spear with spike protrusions on its top and bottom.
- Blood Magic(血の魔法, Chi no Mahō): Thanks to the wyvern having devoured a lacrima with blood magic, Ponos can passively absorb the blood of those he touches and access some spells with his armor and spear.
- Blood Frenzy (血狂い Chi Kurui): Pono's strongest spell where he gathers magic energy in his spear and pierces the ground, filling the area with blood spears that suck the blood of those they pierce.
- Bloody Swipe (血まみスラッシュ Chimamire Surasshu): Pono gathers magic power in his hands and creates extended bloody claws with which he slices targets.
