Sameshiga (鮫歯牙 Sameshiga) is a Dark Mage from the Seraphim Order guild and the leader of Team Grand Chariot.

Appearance

Sameshiga has blue eyes, purple hair, which resembles tentacles hanging down, pale skin and a light blue "crown" in front of his forehead. His attire includes a purple jacket over a maroon shirt and blue pants with white shoes. Like other members of Team Grand Chariot, Sameshiga wears a necklace with a charm, shaped like a Seraphim Order's guild crest, hidden underneath his shirt.

Sameshiga's Bahamut Soul.

After using his signature Take Over magic - Bahamut Soul, Sameshiga takes the appearance of a bipedal white shark with light and dark blue-coloured scales across his entire body. He also grows four fins on his back and four dark blue fins on his head. Sameshiga becomes more muscular, gaining large, sharp teeth, light blue pads on his arms, yellow claws a tail and various shark-themed markings on his body.

Sameshiga can be classified as a typical loner, being indifferent and cool about most things, usually sporting a stoic face or scowl. He prefers to be alone and doesn't follow a crowd. Despite that, Sameshiga has a soft side, but has only shown it to his sister, Hakuhyō. He is shown to act ruthless when in a battle, but is respectful to his opponents, as he prefers fair one-on-one battles. He values his friends, Team Grand Chariot, very much and he would do anything to protect them, even if it would mean risking his life and the lives of others. When transformed into a shark, Sameshiga's blood lust raises substantially and he would, more often than not, accidentally kill his opponents, even if the missions would require to capture them alive. However, he manages to sustain himself in fights against his team-mates.

Magic and Abilities

Take Over (接収, テイクオーバー, Teiku Ōbā): Sameshiga's skill in this particular magic made him known as the Rebellious Shark of the Sea. The Dark Mage can perform both partial and full-body transformations, both of which take the form of a shark, and are called Bahamut Soul (バハムートソウル, Bahamūto Sōru). After using such transformations, Sameshiga can obtain various new abilities, like enhanced strength and defenses, the ability to breathe underwater, as well as an boost to his Water Magic.

• "Sharkskin Drilling Strike" (鮫肌穿当て身 Samehada Sen Atemi) — Sameshiga transforms into a shark and jumps into the air. Then, he starts spinning in a drill-like fashion, using the created air pressure to stay afloat long enough for Sameshiga to launch himself into his opponent, delivering a very powerful impact.

Water Magic (水系各種魔法, Mizu Kei Kakushu Mahō): Sameshiga uses this magic as his primary source for combat. He can generate water in areas that have little to none of it, showing highly advanced skill in this magic. While in Bahamut Soul, Sameshiga's abilities in Water Magic are highly enhanced, to the point where he can create a huge water prison, big enough for Sameshiga to freely swim inside of it as well as trap his targets.

• "Coral Palm" (珊瑚掌 Sangoshō) — Sameshiga strikes the opponent with a powerful physical blow, causing a large formation of coral to quickly grow from the initial point of contact, which can then solidify and restrict the target's movements. The substance continues to grow up to the point where it covers the target's entire body.
• "Megalodon Shark's Lance" (メガロドンシャークのランス Megarodon Shāku no Ransu) — Sameshiga creates a makeshift shark-like lance out of water, which can be launched at the opponent or be used as a short-range weapon.
• "Rough Sea Splash" (荒海飛沫 Araumi Shibuki) — Sameshiga creates a large volume of water, big enough for both him and his opponent to plunge underwater. Then, he transforms into a shark and rushes after the target, grabbing and thrusting them out of the water. Sameshiga then engulfs his fist or leg in water, jumps out of the water and punches or kicks the opponent, causing serious blunt damage.
