Spear Magic (槍の魔法. Yari No Mahō) is a Holder Magic that involves the usage of spears and is considered one of the more widespread due to the availability of spears across the world. For it's easy usage, it is popular with it's uses from simple hunting to it's utility in warfare.
Description[]

A woman from Yamato using this magic against an army of bandits.
Spear Magic has long been used for a long time, ever since people started making tools from simple materials such as wood and bone. A type of pole weapon that consists of the shaft and the pointed head, it's common design allowed for the creation of numerous spears. This, combined with the addition of magical energy allows for a mage to apply their energy into these spears. It is not uncommon for a mage to add in some additional effects to their spears from the manipulation of telekinetically moving their spears to the inclusion of elemental magic and lastly to employ lots of magical energy to use in combat.

A known weapon of the infantry, spear magic is common in armies that are short of swords, as spears are very easy to make with the creation of even stone spears. The usage of spear magic can also be applied with hunting, as which direction the user throws it at depends if the winds are favorable. With numerous possibilities of this magic, it has become a common staple in most societies, as it can be easy to create with the available materials needed. This allowed for the creation of pole weapons which are modelled after the spear.
Having been used throughout the history of Earthland, the spear has become one of the most important tools used. It has become more used with the discovery of spear magic by a famous user named Arilich Nomau. Arilich found out about this magic while he was out hunting when he discovered on how spear when combined with magic can create results that range from harmless to downright destructive. Thus, he set out to master this type of holder magic until he was able to perfect it. From there on, he became well-known for his usage of spear magic and introduced it to many from his homeland to his teachings passed down from the people who they admire the most. In time however, there would exist different forms of spear magic, of which this magic would start to spread.

This magic is not without it's weaknesses. In sprite of it's longer reach, the spear can easily be broken should the foe have an opportunity to break it, even if it was imbued with magical energy. And much like many of the pole weapons, spear magic is not always useful in terms of weather conditions, which is why when it is thrown at a climate that is not so suitable, then the effectiveness that made it useful as a throwing weapon is thrown off of the window. It also depends on the user as well, as this magic is reliant on how the user can actually utilize this magic, as some user would act rather foolhardy with this magic.
