Team Nightfall (新曙の黒騎士団(ティーム·ナイトフォール), Tīmu Naitofōru; lit. "Black Knights of a New Beginning") is a group of "stupid and clueless, yet somehow impossibly powerful" teenagers headed by the current Leo Symbiote, Undine Hoshikagumi. It's neither classified as a guild nor an organization by the likes of the Magic Council, but rather as an independent faction which works in the shadows. While its unknown when they were officially formed, they're known to be incredulously influential — having taken up higher positions in society in order to enact their goals. Interestingly enough, all of them use Soul Armours — created by their oh so intelligent leader, classifying each of them as a Soul Armour Knight (神鎧纏最高戦士 (ソウル・アーマー・ナイト), Sōru Āmā Naito lit. God Armour Clad Supreme Warrior).

Apparently, the naming for this group came from Undine's mouth, seeing it as their foil Team Daybreak" — whom she sees as their greatest adversaries, despite the latter knowing little of their existence altogether. Sometime after the destruction of the Zodiac Knights, the group became more open with their intentions, which led to their evident demise some time after at the hands of Tsuruko Sejren and her compatriots. After giving up on their goals and wanting to find a new path in life, they secretly ally themselves with their former nemesis in hopes of bringing on a better future.
