A man put the cup in the table as he had finished his drink, he was wearing a long black coat with various golden-colored smiles printed through it's entirety, a blueish-colored pants with several black points in it, his shirt not visible, Damon fixed his thick bill hat as he asked the waitress for another drink, the woman confirmed and went backstages to grab a bottle. Time passed, Damon's Partner ate a piece of his chocolate pie with a happy smile on his face, Damon frowned and looked at the balcony's direction seeing Exceed and brother complaining about the long wait, the cat had grown a lot these last years, he could stand in that Big Form of his for a long time.
"Oi oi! Where is our food and drinks?" Reggie asked to a man who was in the balcony, maybe he was the Waitress' boss or his husband, judging by how they hughed each other early.
"If you don't want to wait for it? Get out!" The man said annoyed, that was one of the many complaints on the same hour, he couldn't endure it anymore as he had a bored expression on his face.
"What? We've been waiting one hour for it!!" Reggie shout at the man with an very angry face fault, the man replied back with an shout too, sparks going out of each's eyes "Damon! Can I punch this jerk? Where is the lovely lady anyway?!" Complaining once more, the lady appeared in the balcony holding the demanded and the two calmed down rushing back towards Damon's & Shiro's table "You got your ass saved by now!" The woman could only giggle as she put the food and drinks on their table, grilled chicken, rice, wine & juice.
Damon grabbed the chicken's leg as he tore it off and took a bit, after swallowing it, Damon turned at Reggie "You know, we only waited for one minute right?" Damon said a bit out loud as the man in the balcony's ear suddenly got bigger. Shiro trying to hide what Damon said coul only laugh out loud despite he got some gagging but it was not because of the swallowed food.
Before Reggie could say anything, Shiro shout at Damon "Oi Boss!! I sense someone coming up here!" He shout despite he was at Damon's side, Damon frowned at it and closed his eyes just a bit.
Suddenly, the sound of what seemed to be boots was heard out side the bar, Clop, Clop..... The sound instantly stopped, as the door of the bar was opened by a young man who seems to be on his early twenties, he had hazel eyes and a pale skin which resembled snow itself. He had silver hair which was very noticeable, he was wearing a black coat and red pants along with black boots which made the sound the lads heard.
"A drink, please" he said politely as he sat next to Damon. Without even looking at him or Shiro, Takeshi asked "I assume you sensed me lads, then you know why I came for right?" his hair covering his eyes as he looked down, leaving only a shade visible beneath his eyes. The woman came with the drink, "Thank you, darling" Takeshi told her as he drank his whole cup in a few seconds, now looking at Damon. "So when do we start?" he asked.
"Ohh my bad boss, he noticed I localizated him" Shiro said to Damon with a smile "Sorry if my echolocalization disturbed you, Shihahahaha!" Shiro laughed "So are you the Taiyū then?" Shiro asked with a wide smile as he was excited to know his boss' opponent.
Damon put a hand in front of Shiro's face "Mate, leave the talk to me" Shiro sit down again as he went back to eating his pie "So are you Takeshi Apollyōn The Vanquisher? If yes, let me say, we can begin whenever you want" Damon kept his calm face as he looked with a sincere smile towards the gray-haired man.
"Huh? I guess everyone does know my aliases, yes I am The Vanquisher and the Taiyū" responded with quite calmness. "Before we start, I have a question for you, Are you worth to fight?" he asked with a smirk on his face, while removing his mop of white hair from his eyes and slides it a little bit to the right, leaving his eyes finally visible.
"Good, we should start then!" Damon gets up from the chair as he tosses a bunch of money to Shiro & Reggie "You two, pay it" Damon turned his head to the exit and procceeded to go towards it as he grabbed his Pythias "About your question if I'm worth or not, I don't know, never fought myself" Damon said as he left the bar.
Takeshi sighed as he rose up from his seat, raising one of his silver eyebrows, now walking to the exit "I hope he is worthy to fight because if he's not then fuck this tournament" said Takeshi as he followed Damon outside of the bar. As both of them were now at a safety distance from any buildings, Takeshi told Damon "Proceed if you wish, you can have the first move" he got into his fighting stance prepared for the battle that was now going to start. "Good luck" he whispered to Damon knowing the slayer would be able to hear it due to his Enchanted Hearing.
"Good luck to you as well mate" Damon said loud once they've reached a plaza, there was a crowd there mostly due to the good shops and places the plaza had, their fighting location was near the middle of the city which was quite big, this city mostly known as Nagoya was quite of an developed city as it had shops, hotels and many other stuff, it was highly recommended for someone to spend their day here. It was night time, the crowd there noticed the two mages quickly recognizing them, gave them some space so they could solve their things.
Damon looked around, analyzing the place, some plants there, some statues here, it looked quite nice, truth was that Damon wasn't wanting to win but he was wanting a good fight. Quickly in the blink of an eye, Damon took his Pythias out of it's sheath, making it morph into it's smaller form while at the same moment transferring a bit of his fire magic to it, giving it the shape of an large hammer. Then after making his Damon swallows up shadows as he run towards Takeshi who readied himself "Shadow Dragon's Roar" Damon releases a whirlwind-ish roar, but instead of hitting Takeshi, it did hit a plant nearby him Once the shadow dragon's roar hit anything, I can make it explode Damon thought as continued his run towards Takeshi, once the plant was hit though a large black smoke covered almost the entire plaza which make the Solar Slayer lose his sight temporarily for a few seconds, then although it was still hard to see through the shadows Takeshi could see the large hammer emerging from the shadows trying to hit him frontally.
While Damon was reading himself, Takeshi had charged his blade with magical power, solar energy to be exact this was called Nova Blade and when the large smoke covered the entire plaza, Takeshi simply pinpointed Damon's location by sensing his magical aura, reason why he could sense Shiro sensing him. When, Takeshi saw the large hammer he simply deflected it using Nova Blade with his sword. As the hammer and sword clashed, Takeshi charged his free hand with solar energy and on top of that added Lightning Make: Gauntlet charging his solar fist with electricity, his fist now having the strength to match a Dual Mode Dragon Slayer's Fist technique. Takeshi attempted to punch Damon as the lad was wide open now, while doing this Takeshi engulfed his feet on solar energy, just in case Damon dodged.
Damon who saw the gauntlet flying at him, needed to avoid it somehow, yes he was open for an attack but not so as Takeshi thought, when he launched the hammer, Damon's arms or let's say hands were very near his chest, the Shadow Slayer had an idea, he quickly covered both his arms with hardened shadows and procceeded to do so with the rest of his body, as the Gauntlet was about to him Damon used his left arm and tried to deliver a powerful punch to it, as they were to collide Damon suddenly opens his hardened palm stretching it so it could grab the gauntlet, once the gauntlet collided with his palm, his enemy would expect a stun but it didn't happen as looking closely Damon hardened his entire body with shadows making it like an skin-armor which protected him against most of the damaged delivered by the gauntlet.
While he did so, Damon jumped on the air towards Takeshi as the Dual Slayer was covered in shadows, he tried to smash the gauntlet by closing his palm causing an shiny explosion which temporarily blinded the two, Damon however could protect his eyes using shadows and could act faster. With his right leg moving forward as he continued his assault, Damon prepared to hit Takeshi's stomach with his stretched punch while the Solar Slayer just recovered from the sudden explosion.
Since the explosion was basically light, a property which the sun has and Takeshi was unaffected by any of the sun's conditions. He could see everything normally as if the light didn't even blind him at all. As Takeshi saw Damon's stretched punch aimed at him. Takeshi punched the floor with his solar and lightning enchanted fist, this causing a large explosion in the plaza which certainly harmed the environment, Takeshi did this with the purpose of sending Damon away, as the smoke started to rise Takeshi activated one of his Ice Magic spells Glaciar Edge creating mini ice-spears that covered his body to protect him from any further attacks.
Damon tried to stand still during the explosion, he had a great resistance to heat so it wouldn't blast or burn him away while the lightning was weakened by his shadow defense, even so Damon was pushed a few feet away. As the smoke rised, Damon got this as a chance, his enemy was preparing a spell and with this he WILL need to focus on said spell or else it may be uncast or weaken what means Takeshi won't focus on Damon for this little while, Damon could quickly stretch his arm and jumped forward Takeshi as he appeared in the front of the latter who had just cast his spell.
Just as then Damon tried to break through Glaciar Edge, he wasn't caring about the cold since he is accostumed to lots of temperatures, using his now concentrated hardened shadows around his arm Damon tried to break through the spears with extreme force, he continued pushing on them and this within a second he tried to use flames in order to help with the spell destruction, as he continued with his punch which was now engulfed on fire Damon increased the fire's temperature to a certain level as he saw the cracking ice now beginning to melt, it was not like he couldn't do it with brute force, but sometimes Damon didn't like forcing himself for something he didn't need. Finally breaking through the first part of the ice spell, Damon continued while the flames disappeared and his shadow punch was a few inches away from Takeshi's stomach.
While Damon was trying to break through Glaciar Edge, Takeshi was reading himself, He had activated his Solar Dragon Slayer Magic, Solar Dragon Blazing Path. Takeshi's feet were engulfed by light and fire basically, solar energy. As Damon broke through the ice spears, Takeshi had noticed his hardened shadow punch coming a few inches coming rapidly towards him. Takeshi moved from his current location, leaving a path of flames behind him. His speed augmenting, he ran in a circle thus creating a tornado made out of solar energy itself.Solar Dragon's Flare Tornado! Takeshi shout as a tornado approached Damon fiercely. Takeshi didn't stop here, he made 4 replicas of himself using Solar Dragon's Creation. Which all confused Damon by running at high speeds with the spell Takeshi had used initially.
Damon smirked a bit as the clones tried to distract him "I would be a bit impressed if you used the clones before, but you didn't" Damon noticed as Takeshi's clones run around him in amazing speeds while the tornado approached him, with one foot in the ground Damon started to spin his body completing 360º degrees many times while doing so his righ arm was hardened with shadows and his left arm with flames, after a blink, those elements started to shroud the spinning Damon forming then a powerful dome of said elements "Shadow Flame Dragon's Dome" Damon said while continuing the proccess.
Several cuts made by the spinning shadows were given to the ground and nearby objects, while some of them were engulfed in fire, as the clones approached it they got several cuts along them while fire didn't affect them much, at the least they would be dispacthed by the powerful cuts. As all of them were cut into several parts since they came close to the spinning dome, Damon forced himself a bit more in order to continue the spell as he clashed with Takehshi's tornado, the fire of each one cancelling each other out while the cutting shadows intercepted the blunt effect made by the light, after increasing the force of his spin Damon was finally capable of stopping Takeshi's Tornado.
Damon stopped the Dome after it very quickly however he didn't stop himself from spinning, Damon used his rotation in order to move at an flicking-speed as he tried to catch up with Takeshi, once he saw the latter Damon appeared in front of him with amazing speed and a bit of sweat as he moved to try another attempt at punching Takeshi's stomach with hardened shadows, plus the launching or rotation would boost up the impact's effect as the punch was inches away again from Takeshi's stomach.
Takeshi with a single movement clashed with Damon's shadow punch, he was able to match the fierce of the punch as Takeshi had gained impulse from all the running he had previously done along with this, his feet were engulfed in solar energy itself. As both techniques clashed, more smoke seemed to rise, Takeshi created ice wings, which derived from his Ice Magic, this was a simple improvised technique, though Takeshi showed a great control over it. Sensing Damon's magical power, Takeshi once again repeated his solar dragon slayer magic spell Solar Dragon's Creation and created a replica of himself which had his same ice wings. Both Takeshi's pinpointed Damon's Location and proceeded to use the spell Lightning Make: Thor's Hammer both Takeshi's tried to smash Damon from each side as the smoke cleared. Both Hammer's inches from Damon's body.
Damon covered his legs in flames so he could keep up his speed without tiring himself physically as they served as a booster, he then took sight as another big mass of magical energy was created and took form, he tried to foresee their movements somehow but couldn't as the two Takeshi's quickly appeared from each of his sides, Damon who had his legs engulfed in flames thought of something, as the two hammers were to smash him, Damon changed the boost direction from horizontally to vertically or in other words, in the subsequent moments instead of going forward and slamming into a small Damon fire-rocket'ed himself with insane speed towards the midair in an attempt to dodge the spells quickly. Everything happening in slow motion, the hammers clashed one against other provoking an impact which hit Damon sending him a bit up in the air.
The impact sended Takeshi and his clone flying backwards, but as he saw Damon's strategy of propelling himself upwards, Takeshi engulfed his legs in flames and light and rocket'ed high in the sky towards Damon, the lad and his clone took impulse the clone attempted to kick Damon his leg almost making contact with the Shadow Flame Dragon Slayer. While the real Takeshi appeared behind both the clone and Damon and proceeded to use the classic and most basic spell of all Dragon Slayers, Takeshi inhaled heat and light within his mouth and expulsed a large blast of solar energy towards his opponents, the blast was glimmering because of it's blinding light. Solar Dragon's Roar Takeshi thought on his mind.
Damon grins a little as the Solar Clone tries to kick him, with his good eye-sight, he could see the two were trying to make a combo or in other words the original is gonna blow up him along with the Clone. As the clone tried to kick him, Damon covered his leg in shadows as he stretched it and making it wrap around the clone's leg stopping it with brute force, with it, Damon grabs the clone's arms with his own, as the Solar Roar was going after them, Damon quickly took impulse and jumped towards the roar while holding the clone which would take most of the roar for him, as he was engulfed with it, Damon resisted the heat due to his natural resistance against it and with shadows he could resist some of the blinding effect, and with the clone taking almost the entire blunt effect from it, he and the clone came closer to Takeshi, Damon using his force pushed the clone in the original what stopped Takeshi's roar and also temporarily stunned the mage. With it, Damon took the chance, hardening his fists he created average-sized fireballs which could nearly fit in his hand, the flames though had a little darkish tone to them, Damon fired them at Takeshi aiming for his head, as the balls were to hit him Damon quickly took impulse and reappered much more close to Takeshi, with his knee bent even though he is in the midair, he covered his left arm in shadows & flames, and with his right Damon threw another fierce punch towards the Solar Slayer's face.
As the Solar Slayer saw Damon's punch coming towards him along with the fireballs, Takeshi shot multiple solar beams towards the fireballs seconds before Damon approached him. Now looking at the Shadow Flame Slayer's punch, he countered it by using his sword in an attempt to clash with Damon's fierce fist. Once again, Takeshi covered his fist in solar energy and threw a mighty, firm yet powerful punch towards the black haired man. "Not so cocky now?" Takeshi asked Damon with a grin as his fist was almost making contact with Damon.
Damon not losing the smile on his face, Damon increased the force within his right punch using it to forcefully push the sword away although they were still clashing, and with his left arm covered in both elements "Seems you didn't notice, let me say it now...Not so cocky after this right? Shadow Flame Dragon's Dome" The rotating dome emerged from Damon's left hand which successfully stopped his opponent's punch although the speed of it made Damon's hand back up slightly despite the protection, with Takeshi's punch stopped and holded by the dome, it began to rotate itself an action which damaged Takeshi's arm due to the solid-part of the shadows and incredible speed of the rotation, with his force Damon forced-opened Takeshi's arms one with the impact of his right arm and the other due to the grasp of the Dome, and then with another impulse in the air Damon brought up his bent knee prepared to deliver a powerful blow right to Takeshi's nose.
Takeshi smiled as Damon's knee approached him. "You are the one who hasn't noticed" he said as he used a new spell Lightning Make: Shield a shield out of lightning protected Takeshi against Damon's powerful blow and temporally stunned the mage for a few seconds. In this short amount of time, the solar slayer before beginning to fall towards the ground created two dragons, one of light and another one of flame. Solar Dragon's Twin Dragon's Fang! shouted the silver haired boy as he rode onto of the Flame Dragon which was approaching Damon at high speeds along with the Light Dragon. Takeshi stretched his arm a bit, "I've got to admit that was a good move over there" he said with the same cockiness as always.
"You are half the full way...finally used an strong spell, though you could do better!" Damon grinned with his now hardened-shadow-knee colliding against the shield while making an aerial shockwave, the lightning trying to stun his body entirely, with a smirk Damon's shadows blocked most of the lightning coming although it did damage his knee almost paralyzing it completely "Shouldn't it be the shadows, I would be completely stunned now. It's a nice spell, protect, 'attack' and stun." Damon looked at Takeshi who had preformed another of his spells, the Solar Slayer launched two elemental dragons, a shining one and a flaming one, with the silver-haired man riding the fire dragon as they came real fastly against Damon "I need to be quick too" Thought he while looking at the shield.
Damon looked at it with a frowned face, he grabbed the lightning shield with his hardened hand as it was still active and leaped in the air against Takeshi who was above the flaming dragon, Damon saw it as a chance, he went towards the Light Dragon's direction, but then with another impulse in the air he turned towards the flaming dragon & Takeshi, taking hold of the flame dragon and with his mouth he took a bite off it, said action was enough not only for a piece of the beast to be eaten, but it's entirety flew to Damon's mouth as he ate and forcibly digested it, the light dragon was about to hit Damon's side but the Shadow Slayer predicted it, after all he rushed and dodged it, knowing such living constructs follow it's targets, of course the dragon would follow him.
As there were no more flame dragon, Damon knew Takeshi didn't have an transport but yes he could move away with the use of any thrusters or another spell, something quite easy to figure out "From Dragon to Dragon, I give you back your words, I have got to admit that was a good move over there, but not enough" The shield in Damon's hand was starting to feel a bit painful again, he transferred more eternano to it although he didn't know how to manipulate much of it properly, as the Dragon tried to hit him, Damon blocked it using the Lightning Shield and also with his force, the dragon trying to pierce it but Damon was faster and moved the shield at Takeshi's direction with great force successfully throwing the dragon at the man's direction while also taking off his grip from the shield which would now disappear to the time limit.
Seeing that the dragon was returned to him, with a smirk, Takeshi who was using solar energy as a jetpack to continue gliding in the air flew a bit higher and landed on the dragon the second it reached the silver haired boy. "That was a mistake of mine, pardon me Damon" he said. Approaching Damon quickly. While coming closer to the black haired man, the dragon thrusted multiple light blasts at high speeds towards Damon, this was merely a distraction as the boy knew Damon would react to them somehow. Takeshi manipulated the dragon so that they could descend and land upon ground making the dragon gain impulse so that Damon could not block it with another shield again. As the dragon and Takeshi were close to the ground the Solar Slayer backflipped and landed. While the light dragon dug underground and then ascended towards Damon with incredibly fast rate and power. Takeshi did not stop there but he prepared himself by covering the floor in ice and creating ice spikes ont top of the ice floor through the plaza in which they were fighting just to be ready if his opponent landed on the ground. The ice wasn't exactly durable but it could still do some damage. "Clever move you did but, I expect more and you know it" thought Takeshi while awaiting his opponent's reaction.
Still with an calm expression, Damon noticed as he was falling in the ascending Dragon's direction, said living construct was flying at an amazing speed in the Slayer's direction, in case it did hit him however Damon still had his dome which was not active but was evidently preformed in his left arm, by bursting in the air using flames erupted from his right arm, Damon got out of the way of the Shining Dragon althrough barely and with another burst he sent him down to the ground with an amazing speed, but since the construct was created to follow him, the dragon indeed turned back in the midair procceeding to follow Damon.
He saw that his opponent had covered the plaza's ground with ice and various spikes through it's layer, Damon didn't stop falling, instead he continued while the construct just followed him, with it's speed the Beast almost caught up with Damon but yes, they were about to hit the ice layer and it's spikes but then Damon raised his head a bit looking at Takeshi with an usual smirk, with this Damon turned his body upside-down in a backward motion grabbing the Dragon's horns with his hardened hands and making fire boost out of his feet, with his grip on the Dragon's horns Damon pushed himself away in the air again with a thrust impulse, the scene happened in quick seconds.
With Damon's two impulses he leaped back into the midair, the second impulse which he used his hands though had enough force to push the dragon ever further than he was, giving it more speed and momentum, then it hit brutally hit the ice layer while breaking through some spikes finally hitting the the main layer, the impact due to the momentum, speed while also counting the blunt force and destructive part of the light; caused an powerful explosion which covered almost if not half of the plaza, it's heat was enough to melt the ice created by Takeshi and the Dragon's body had dissipated due to the power and collision, the dissipation caused the light to flown away violently causing said explosion. Damon kept himself in the air as he would begin to fall again, luckily the explosion didn't cause much smoke since it was just a dissipation.
