Transmutation (錬成 Rensei) is both a Caster and a Holder Magic that relates to the chemical and biological transformations of another beings or objects

Description[]

Overview[]

Transmutation is a rather unique kind of magic that is very similar to Transformation in nature. It can be resumed as the magic to manipulate and warp the matter and giving it a new form. However, this is a rather complex proccess and is a hard form of magic to master

First, the use of Transmutation occurs in three stages: First, the user must understand the matter they are going to transmutate, and in extreme cases, even the atomic composition of it must be known to the user. In second, the user destroys the matter in order to give it a new shape. The last and third step is the re-creation of the matter itself into a new shape and form

This is a rather complex process and the user must have some intelligence and aptitude in order to use it, as it requires the user to undergo a study of chemistry and physics in order to known the properties of the materials they are going to transmutate, and the transmutation itself falls into a set of laws

Laws of Transmutation[]

The first and most basic law of Transmutation is the conservation of energy. This means that nothing can be created out of thin air or destroyed in a subatomical level. When you transmutate something, you're transforming it, just giving it a new shape. Thus, if the user transmutates an object of one gram, the result must be an object of one gram, or at least, several objects which the sum is one gram. This brings us to the second law: The shared properties

This one determinates that all transmutations must have the same properties. If someone transmutates a biological being, for example, they can't create an object, only another living system, and vice-versa. This works to everything. For example, no one can transmutate water into fire, but they can transmutate water into ice, and ice into water

Trivia[]
