Troy Mariner vs. Atlas is a fight fought between Fairy Tail Mage Troy Mariner and the King of Atlantis Atlas.

Prologue[]

Troy finally awakens and saves Bradley from being killed by Atlas. He tells the others to flee to a safety while he fights, to which they reluctantly agreed, but promising to return with reinforcements.

Battle[]

Troy charges at Atlas in an attempt to hit him with his Water Dragon's Iron Fist but Atlas effortlessly stops it with a single hand. Atlas then kicks Troy in the stomach and sends him flying backward. Troy recovers in mid-air and lands on his feet but Atlas instantly appears behind him and punches him hard into the ground. The Atlantean King attempts to stomp on Troy's head but the Water Dragon Slayer quickly recovers and uses his Water Dragon's Talon on Atlas's head. Completely unfazed, Atlas grabs Troy's leg and swings him around before throwing him into one of the pillars.

Atlas taunts Troy by calling his Magic weak, provoking the Leviathan into using his Water Dragon's Grand Splash on Atlas. Atlas smirks as he drinks the water of Troy's attack, revealing himself to be a Sea God Slayer, trained by the Sea God Neptune himself. The two then charge toward each other and clash their water engulfed fists, creating a strong shock wave that pushes Troy backward. Atlas traps Troy in a spherical prison of his divine water. Troy attempts to drink the water but is unable to and begins to suffocate.

Atlas violently forces the water prison into the ground, creating a powerful explosion upon impact. The severely injured Troy struggles to get on his feet but falls to his knees. Atlas, satisfied with things, unleashes his Sea God's Trident upon the kneeling Troy, creating an massive explosion of divine water upon collision. The blast sends Troy flying straight out of the top of the Parthenon and crashing into a temple blocks away.

Aftermath[]

Upon seeing the sight of the grievously injured Troy falling from the Parthenon, Natsu Dragneel becomes enraged and easily defeats his current opponent Thesus with a powerful fiery explosion. Atlas comes down from the Parthenon and is then charged at by the fired up Natsu.
