True Form (真のフォーム Shin no fōmu) is a form of Take Over and Black Arts magic. It originates from the Realm of Dusk and is a form that reveals the true appearances of disguised demons. Half-Demons are capable of having this form if it is given to them, which is exactly the case for Gia Alabaster, but is not the case for Haru Soto.
Gia's True Form was initially supposed to be her strongest accessible soul but due to her magical sealing somehow ending too early, it was unable to cross-over to the "dimension" where all of her transformations lie.
Among the Organization, the thirteen members should have this ability, but Zagreus is greedy and wants every ounce of power for himself. However, he was persuaded to give Makonen this ability after he proved his loyalty by killing the the thirteenth member upon its summoning.
Magic & Abilities[]
This spell varies for the type of Etherious. In the case of a full-blooded Etherious, they won't retain any human features but since they are purebred they can access this form at will and retain control over themselves while in said form.
Compared to that of a half-demon half-human mix, the user can only access it when they are in distress and do it unconsciously. Once they access this form for the first time, they will be able to find ways to tap into it more easily, much like a purebred.The power of either in their True Form is unspeakable, but definitely beatable.However, it is much easier to defeat a half-demon in their True Form opposed to a purebred. They will not have as much control and quite literally lose their sanity. For a half-breed to be able to transform, they would have to experience a deep and emotional trauma or an overwhelming anger.
Regardless, both have strengths in Black Arts, which is basically the main type of magic used in the Realm of Dusk which is where all Etherious reside. Demonstrated by Hades before, an Etherious in their True Form has an automatic weakness to Light Magic and Fairy Magic.
There is no specific or "normal" way one would look in their True Form, but a telltale sign would be glowing red eyes.

- This side of Gia does not have an official orgin like most of her souls, such as Medusa Soul and Persephone Soul. However, this side of her is confirmed to be also a female.
