Victor Ravenclaw (ビクターレーブンクロー,Bikutaa Reebunkuroo) is the uncle of Diana Ravenclaw and the true current head of the family, manipulating his niece and various situations from the shadows. He is a corrupted human and the true villain of Fairy Tail:Light of Hope.

In his current form, Victor has the appearance of a middle aged man with red eyes, white hair in a ponytail and almost white pale skin and before his curse and him entering a state between life and death, his hair were black. He wears aristocratic clothes of deep purple color, long black trouser and shoes, a long deep purple cape whose part begins from and covers his shoulders while it has gold flame outlines. His suit is also deep purple and has a two part handkerchief with gold flaming symbols that and are held by four purple gems while he also has two white gloves. When in God Form, he has the appearance of a white faced youth with blue eyes and long whitish blue hair, a white robe that exposes his black torso and has two black stripes on his waist, while he has black legs and clawed fingers. He also carries a scythe that is mainly white but its blade is black while finally, two white mechanical like units fly near him that are actually four extra eyes contained in that form. His godly form has been described cold, lifeless, beautiful and even out of this world at the same time.

Personality[]

When he was little, Victor was a boy that had to put up with his family's cruel and oppresive nature and so, he became apathetic and as befitting of his upbringing and unusual nature , he became uncaring for human life and doing whatever he could to remain alone. At the age of fifteen, he apathetically learned that he would become a vessel for the family ancestor, however, not only he wasn't taken over, but he assimilated said ancestor's memories and knowledge, becoming more ambitious and cruel to the point of killing and torturing people and engaging in black arts in order to gather power and become a god. He became ambitious enough during his years of being a leading figure to the mage underworld that he even invaded the Lightheart Family, another of the Six Great Families, in order to plunder all their magic knowledge even though he knew that such an action could cause the second Aristocratic Wars, displaying apathy for the effects his actions might have.After he returned to action when his curse was broken, the only thing that remained inside his fragmented soul was his desire to become a god that became more magnified and made him even more ruthless and uncaring for life, commiting horrible acts and treating all his servants as pawns and stepping stones. He retained also his hate for George Lightheart, treating him as the one that both put a halt to his plans and cursed him, considering him his archnemesis. His resurrection also caused him to become obsessed with the Lightheart siblings, with himself believing that his dream will be realized if he absorbs their souls in order to obtain their lost magic.

Magic & Abilities[]

Immense Magic Power: Due to his lineage, experimentations and training, Victor has terrific amounts of power. When released, it could cover an entire city and attract hordes of ghost due to its nature and affinity while he was able to fight and overpower someone as powerful as Ashman Soulborn who has been compared to the current generation of Sorcery Lords. Upon becoming a god, even for a short time, his magic power became so powerful that those near him felt a crushing pressure while he claimed to have become the most powerful being in the continent and true to that, it took a Roxanne in Divine Overdrive with the essence of all the stones and being greatly boosted by Constantine while having the sorcery lords distract him in order to be defeated.

Expert Magic User: Victor has been described as a prodigious mage from his childhood, something proven true when he exhibited advanced control and usage of his now former darkness magic which was considered outstanding and profound. When he immersed himself into black arts, he mastered them in short time and even perfected his styles while also creating one of his own. He also perfected and completed Apotheosis Ritual, managing to become a god of chaos even for a short time.

Black Arts[]

Black Arts (黒魔術ブラック・アーツ, Burakku Ātsu lit. Black Magic Techniques) are a fighting style and a Subspecies Magic of Black Magic; one of the two major forms of Magic to exist – primarily offensive in nature, the Black Arts mainly focus upon granting the magician whom wields a magic associated with it sinister abilities and its forms of magic are centered around using magic to deal direct damage to the user's opponents, thus revolving around drawing immense power from the negative feelings of the user to invoke the manipulation of the essence of life and death, fashioned into the form of various kinds of forbidden arcane powers, typically utilized for evil and selfish purposes. Despite being extraordinarily powerful, the Black Arts have been known to have terrible consequences if one misuses or overuses them.

The Black Arts are an exceptionally dangerous set of magics which enables the user to manipulate the essence of life and death; a power considered forbidden ever since the Beginning of Magic as magicians wished to avoid incurring the wrath of the god of life and death known as Ankhseram; whom would punish those who broke the rules of life and death severely with a rather tragic Curse known as Ankhseram Black Magic, an extremely sinister ability which caused the afflicted to release deadly miasma which killed everyone around them while keeping the user immortal and forcing their minds to deteriorate from the contradictions of their existence. Despite this, some certain unsavoury individuals managed to master the Black Arts and create several forms of Subspecies Magic which were derived from the basic ability to manipulate life and death; as displayed by those given the moniker of "Black Wizard", harnessing the power of the Black Arts allows the wielder to bring forth untold calamities – indeed, Black Wizard Zeref has been said to have utilized the Black Arts to make the world a living hell for untold centuries, killing anything he wishes and creating life in the form of artificial demons to wreak havoc across the lands. In any case, like several standard forms of magic, the Black Arts are known to be powered by the caster's emotions, indeed taking the concept of magic equaling the feelings of the magician to its absolute zenith – but more in line with Curses, this demonic fighting style involves the user fueling their energies with primal negative emotions such as revenge, hate, greed, fear, aggression, and malice toward all living things, drawing upon the foul magic signature emitted by the Black Arts and its life-and-death-manipulation properties, heretical practices being manifest within the mortal plane to bring about a sinister power beyond all compare. Though it is not necessarily "evil" magic per se, the Black Arts primarily focus upon doling out untold amounts of destruction, harming, cursing and otherwise complicating the lives of other people while advancing the user's own state, embracing magical techniques and practices that would traditionally be viewed as taboo and are generally willing to go farther than most would even consider if it serves their ends.

Victor has tremendous mastery over black arts, having reached his various styles to their peak and has become a symbol of terror to the magic underworld while those who know him sudder upon recalling various of his feats, calling him Demon in Human Form.

Necromancy[]

Necromancy (黒魔術, Kokumajutsu)is a form of magic that manipulates the souls of the living and the deceased. It is widely considered a form of Black Magic and often used to conjure malevolent spirits from the beyond, bind these spirits through ritual magic, and commune with and command legions of the dead. Though regarded as an evil and dark art, necromancy like any form of magic is not bound by the coils of morality. It is an expression of the One Magic, and to those who would learn its secrets become capable of transcending past their mortal bodies.

Necromancy is a broad category of magic, that allows the practitioner to utilize various black arts to manipulate the souls of the living and the dead. Unlike the magic that dominates Fiore, Necromancy is a type of Holder Magic; much of its power is drawn from communion with the dead, utilizing sigils, and various symbols to establish connections with dark powers beyond the scope and understanding of mortal comprehension in this realm and the next. This makes Necromancy very similar to Death Magic, though according to most users, necromancy draws much of its power from negative energy an energy that exists in an "outer realm" beyond the fringes of the universe, that seeps into our world. It is called the source of all evil magic. Using necromancy, Victor is capable of summoning forth negative energy as a means of attack and defense. He is also able to conjure the spirits of the dead, typically for information, at other times to be used as ghostly scouts, or to haunt and terrorize a populace. These spirits can be also implanted into organic matter; corpses and such, showing elements of Living Magic. As a truly powerful necromancer, he is capable of creating powerful, sentient undead monsters, with unique skills and abilities.

Victor is known as a fearsome master of this magic, having utilized it to escape death and revive various individuals in order to serve him, but he can also do things such as absorbing souls and vitality and controlling ghosts which he can upgrade to wraiths.

Spells

Dead Field (デッド・フィールド Deddo Fīrudo): A spell in which Victor gathers spectral energies in his hand which he channels on the ground, creating a barrier of green magic energy. While active, anything living has its vitality and magic energy slowly drained and any undead being is restored and strengthened while it also attracts spiritual beings which he can either allow inside or block their entrance.

Calling of Underworld (アンダーワールドの呼び出し Andāwārudo no Yobidashi): A spell Victor came up with upon reading about a certain goddesses' spell. He begins by gathering spectral magic energy and chanting " residents of the other side,you roaming in world infernal, come and enlighten the living about bliss eternal" and finishes by clasping his hands and touching the ground and then, a sick green mist comes from the ground beneath one or multiple targets. This mist is composed by numerous souls that envelop and barrage the target and try to remove their souls by channeling into them the feelings of peace and bliss each one feels on the other side and if it proves successful, the target's soul is removed from the body and joins the mist which then disappears.

Spectral Lock (スペクトラル・ロック Supekutoraru Rokku): Victor extends his hand and does a grabbing motion, with numerous spectral chains erupting from the ground and restraining all spiritual entities in his field of vision. The chains are impossible to be broken and the more a spirit or soul struggles then the tigher they become while Victor can also make the chains and their prisoners follow him and become invisible in the process.

Sigil of Spectrer (亡霊の印章 Bōrei no Inshō): A cursing spell. Victor begins by gathering magic power in his hand which he shapes into a mini magic circle and chants into a long dead language. Then, he tights his fist and points his index finger towards his intended target, from where a green magic beam is fired and once it hits a living being, a magic circle with unknown symbols appears on their body seconds before it disappears. This sigil is a curse for the body, making wounds unhealable by natural or magical means and it wears off vitality every day while finally, it makes the ones cursed being able to see and attract ghosts. It can be dispelled only by powerful holy magic.
Spectral Awakening (スペクトラル目覚め, Supekutoraru Mezame): A spell that in order to work, Victor must implant a lacrima that contains spectral energy to one or multiple targets who then say the spell's name, with the lacrima shattering and unleashing the spectral energy inside. Those using the spell become living zombies, ignoring pain and fatigue while possessing increased physical and magic output but after a while, their bodies turn to dust and a portion of their power goes to Victor.

Malice Furnace[]

Malice Furnace (マリス炉, Marisu-ro) is a form of Black Arts created by Victor after spending time changing bodies and staying as a soul which allowed him to analyze his own essence and he considers it the avatar of Black Arts' dark and corruptive nature. It allows Victor to generate a pitch black aura with purple hue that is the very darkness inside him. While the lesser Darkness Magic is about channeling one's negative emotions into their magic energy to produce spells, Malice Furnace is the complete externalization of his negative emotions. When he activates it, he is surrounded by a faint black flame which generates pitch black magic energy which he can freely manipulate its form and intensity like unleashing omnidirectional dark waves, unleash beams or creating constructs etc. However, the reason it has this name is due to the fact that the more his negative emotions swell then the more powerful and intense the dark energy becomes, which is logical since it's his dark side externalized and weaponized while it can also become stronger via absorbing the negative emotions of those near him. Victor can also transfer some of the magic's energy to others which ends up magnifying their darkness and raising both their power and Malice Furnace's own when utilized by Victor. This magic's dark power is so potent that it could be rivalled and defeated by Roxanne's Holy God Slayer Magic .

Apotheosis Ritual[]

Apotheosis Ritual (神格化の儀式,Shinkaku-ka no Gishiki) is a Caster Magic, Forbidden Magic and a form of Enchantment that bestows deification on a user.

Description

A ritual that was once created by the royal family of the now Desert of Statues at the height of their hubris and continued defiance of the gods. In order for this magic to be used, a user first needs even the slightest divine magic energy, such as the magic of god slayer magic, and inject it to their body. Then, a monstrous amount of magic power coming from an untold amount of individuals must be gathered and stored in lacrima as to not be wasted and be used only at the necessary moment. Finally, one must create a circle made from their blood in which they will stand at the center which has a yin-yang symbol while the rest of the circle has rune symbols such as Phoenix, Ouroboros, Earth, Sky, Life and Death and once its made, the user intakes both the godly magic energy along with the one gathered from an untold amount of people, with them becoming a god if it succeeds or crumbling to dust if they can't withstand it and when a user becomes a god, they gain unimaginable magic power that rivals dragons and awakens specific magics. What's interesting about this magic isn't just the transformation of a user into a god, rather, it can make the user a specific type of god, a phenomenon that occurs by having those whose magic power is extracted from possessing the feelings and belief that the user is a specific type of god. When Victor Ravenclaw partly succeeded in the ritual, he became a god of chaos, all thanks to the belief of the followers he gathered the magic power from through the ages that he is a god of chaos, controlling creation and destruction which resulted in him manifesting Creator's Eye in exchange of losing his other magics.

Creator's Eye[]

Creator's Eye (創造者眼, Lit. Sōzōshagan) is a very ancient and powerful Caster-type Lost Magic that was awakened in Victor after becoming a god. This is a Subspecies Magic of Eye Magic that enables him to exert his "reality" over an immediate vicinity of an unknown range. Among even Lost Magic the Creator's Eye is consider truly old magic and said to be one of the foundation magics that results from The One Magic. When activated, Victor's eyes become white and while active, he can control anything in a radius close to half a country, being able to control reality via his imagination in various forms except imagining someone dead or bringing someone to life unless he wants to die himself, but he had a way to get past that latter taboo.
