Yaeko Blorez better known as Chinkon's Kirin is a Cubare-Kirin Hybrid who is one of the original members of Nurarihyon'sguild. After being controlled by his demon form during that infamous parade she stayed out of respect of his power. It was later revealed that both her demon half and kirin half respect him. Her demon half due to his power and her kirin half as she views him as a benevolent ruler, which is how she got the alias. She serves as Chinkon's Head of the Diplomat Department making Lilith Demonblood her direct superior. She was put in charge of the department after Nurarihyon recommended her to Lilith. While her guild members think it is because of her abilities she inherited from her kirin parent the true reason is because of her skill with norlat.
As a cubare Yaeko's appearance can vary drastically, but normally Yaeko is an individual that takes after her father, a storm kirin, a bit more than her mother. She has her father's disarmingly peaceful smile. A smile that could stop an army and make them reconsider if violence was really worth it. This is accompanied by a bearing that inexplicably makes people feel relaxed and drawn to her like moths to a flame. The latter being refined by her mother's side. Eyes often seem to follow her when she is around far more than is common with members of her father's side of the family. A hint that while she undoubtedly is her father's daughter she still has some family resemblance to her mother. She isn't just a kirin.
When first meeting Yaeko the first thing that catch most people's eyes is her single horn. The six inch horn that sticks out just behind the center of her forehead is blue at the base and gold as it approaches the tip of the horn. Demons should take care not to touch the blue horn because it is where her purification abilities are at their strongest. Archdemons who have accidentally touched it have been drastically weakened by the horn's purifying abilities. Should Yaeko run a demon through the heart with the horn its purifying power is potent enough to kill one of the Nine Demon Gates instantly.
Yaeko has snow white hair reminiscent of her father that extends to her waist. On the way down the strands part around her ears so that the strands in front of her ears end at below her chin to frame her face. Her bangs hang over her forehead to completely conceal it then fall down a bit further to end slightly above her eyes except for strands between her eyes that instead end between her eyes.
People can't seem to agree on Yaeko's figure. What everyone can agree on is that Yaeko has a very attractive figure as though her powers are making slight adjustments to her figure so that she will appear attractive to whoever looks at her. For example Gyūki Hoori has said she has a very athletic build reminiscent of the wife whom he loves dearly while from Nurarihyon's perspective she has a graceful figure with pleasing curves reminiscent of Tsuki Uintā for the same reason. Even what age she appears to be is subjective based on the beauty standards of whoever is looking at her. If Yaeko were to look in the mirror she would find a woman in her mid twenties looking back at her. A woman with defined abs, hips that are the same width as her sloped shoulders, full thighs that have slight definition, slender arms, and slender ankles and calves.
Unlike with her figure Yaeko's powers do not change what her clothes look like to adhere to the preferences of the people looking at her. Instead, her powers change the impression her clothes give. If she is wrapped head to toe so that barely any skin is showing and a person who is looking at her likes revealing clothes they will think the outfit is revealing despite how it isn't. In contrast to how she looks more like her father, Yaeko's clothing choices are more in line with her other half as she prefers clothing that draws attention to her physique over the as she would put it "boring robes" kirin wear whenever they are in their human form. She is normally seen wearing a black skintight outfit with sparse gold decorations on the outfit. The sleeves of the outfit end just above her elbow and below that she usually wears gloves to avoid harming her demon allies with her purifying touch.
Personality[]
Yaeko is known as a very hyperactive person who seems to always be enthusiastic about whatever she is doing. Or at least trying to be enthusiastic. Often speaking so fast, running everywhere, and using her arms and hands to gesture wildly while speaking. Her guild mates often joke that Nurarihyon would be able to power Chinkon on just her excess energy. Despite her attitude no finds her annoying possibly because of natural charm. The way her demeanor makes people feel comfortable around her makes people ill prepared for her hyperactivity and because of this it is very easy to be swept up in whatever Yaeko wants to do. One moment a person is sitting quietly in the guild hall and the next moment they could be racing with Yaeko. Completely unsure of the events that led up because of swept up they were.
Her enthusiastic personality has a tendency of leading people to underestimate her. Thinking that she is a stupid woman who is incapable or unwilling to take a hint. In reality this cannot be further for the truth because Yaeko is a very observant person. That's the problem she is too observant. She always seems to know what to say and how to act to ensure most people she interacts with will be too busy living in the moment to stop and think. She is like a tsunami. Crashing in and sweeping people off their feet before they know what hit them.
Part of her charm is how open she seems to be with her emotions making her appear as an honest person. She is open with her emotions, but she uses context to disguise how feels. If she is forced to be around someone she hates she will be in a bad mood around everyone else in the group. She is in a bad mood because she is forced to interact with them, but the context and how she goes about it makes it seem as though she doesn't hate the person and is instead having an off day. This makes it appear as though she loves being around everyone and there is no one she hates when in reality this isn't the case. She like everyone has preferences. In contrast to her hyperactivity she has enough self restraint to make that nearly impossible to spot by hiding it in plain sight.
Under the surface Yaeko is a very calculating person who rarely does something without thinking at least when it comes to socializing. She has developed the skill of thinking quickly and on the fly to help hide this borderline manipulative side of her. In the example of the aforementioned race the person she chose and the activity was not chosen whimsically. She did it because she felt that guild member was letting themselves go too much and hoped that soundly beating him in a race would make him realize this on his own. Especially when that guild member was once known as the fastest member of the guild apart from the S-classes and the guild master.

Purification Curse[]
The Purification Curse otherwise known as the Kirin Curse despite how absurd it may seem does indeed do what it implies. It allows Yaeko to use a combination of curse power and Magical Barrier Particles to purify a target. Yaeko can transform curse power into holy energy, make an ordinary weapon into a holy sword, or purify away demonic energies. Unlike normal purification as is seen with her purifying touch this curse also turns morality on its head. Aiding creatures it should harm and harming those it should aid. It is as thoug stuff purified by this curse views demons and the like as benevolent and angels as well as creatures like them as benevolent. Yaeko can indeed purify away magical barrier particles from humans, but instead of aiding them the purification will intensify the symptoms and add new ones. Yaeko can create holy energy, but this holy energy will harm angels not demons. In fact, Yaeko can use holy energy to aid and heal demons. Possibly most frighteningly of all Yaeko can purify a holy being to turn their very existence against them so that their own holy powers slowly kill them. Although, due to how Yaeko has yet to completely master the curse a strong enough holy being can resist provided they realize what is going on. Yaeko has also been known to use this curse in combination with her other curses allowing her to create holy lightning with the Electro Curse or holy winds with Sylph that is very dangerous to holy beings, which due to their purpose is often referred to as demon holy lightning or wind. One should not confuse the effects of this curse for corruption as the things it purifies can be consumed by holy-based Slayers. Chastity could for example consume the holy energy this curse can turn curse power into.
Electro Curse[]
The Electro Curse is a curse that revolves around using curse power to create and manipulate lightning. While Yaeko's skill with it is nowhere near the level of the Thunder Goddess her skill isn't laughable either. She can channel it through her body to electrocute people with a touch, call down lightning to smite enemies with very little warning, and unleash various other attacks with it. It also allows Yaeko to use magnetic fields granting her some control over metal. Lastly, the curse gives her an immunity to lightning as well as the ability to absorb it.
Sylph[]
Sylph is Yaeko's third curse and it allows her to create and control wind currents as well as air polluted with Magical Barrier Particles. She use wind to for offensive, defensive, or supplementary purposes such as unleashing a Fire Bullet sized tornado from her hand, create a shield of wind, or unleash blasts of air from her feet to boost her movement speed. Just like with Air Magic she can use Sylph to create pockets of air which can explode, suffocate enemies, or even suspend an opponent in the air. Lastly, Sylph makes it impossible for Yaeko to be harmed by air as well as give the ability to absorb air.
Wrath of the Wind Demon: Wrath of the Wind Demon is a jinx that allows Yaeko to enhance the destructive power of her unarmed attacks by unleash a burst of air whenever a punch or kick connects with the target.

Blessing Magic is a form of Caster Magic and a cosmic type White Art that serves as the White Art equivalent of Enchantment. It allows her to create inner azoth to bless a target to grant various positive effects. As with all kirin it is a magic she was born with and has an innate talent with it allowing her to increase a person's luck or grant wishes so long as it isn't her own and the wish isn't to grand. How long the wish remains in effect depends on how grand a wish it is. Granting someone their wish of getting home before it rains for example is likely to remain in effect for a few hours. In contrast a grand wish such as wishing for a lot of wealth is likely to only last a minute for the money vanishes.
Demon Hybrid Physiology[]
Remarkable Physical Condition: Yaeko's physical capabilities and attributes are on a level far above that of a human making them comparable to a demigod. She can leap over several buildings in a single bound, superhuman reflex barely fast enough to snatch a speeding bullet out of the air, send a one story building crumbling to the ground with a single punch, and move fast enough to appear as a blur to anyone who doesn't have enhanced sight. Then there is her durability. She has a kirin's absolute invulnerability that is reliant on her being peaceful. She loses this invulnerability the moment she goes on the offensive or isn't on her vegan diet effectively making her invulnerability useless in a fight because it won't be there. In a fight Yaeko's durability and endurance is great enough that she can be dropped from a three story building and stand up with only a few bruises to show for it.
Divinity: Due to the origins of kirin Yaeko has a lot in common with gods. Demigods in particular due to how she is only part kirin which as a result has given her a part divine part demonic body and biology. Her divine nature is the source of her superhuman physical abilities and many of the abilities from her kirin half. Her transcendent nature is also the reason for why her succuba abilities are as potent as they are despite being a hybrid.
Unique Immortality: Yaeko's immortality is a unique blend of a kirin's and a succuba's. Like both races she is blessed with an indefinite lifespan and eternal youth. In addition to this, like her kirin parent Yaeko essentially has absolute immortality under most cases. However, unlike a kirin attacking people doesn't weaken her gradually until she can be killed, but rather attacking someone instantly makes her vulnerable to Devil Slayer Magic and the other weaknesses found in cubare. In practice, due to how Yaeko doesn't have the same aversion to combat as a full blooded kirin does this only makes Yaeko invulnerable to assassination attempts and other surprise attacks. This is because while kirins are willing to remain on the defensive Yaeko is more than willing to fight back thus removing her absolute immortality for a day. Unless Nurarihyon has ordered her to stall a Devil Slayer doesn't need to worry about her absolute immortality and even if he has due to how her best way to stall is by not attacking a Devil Slayer would hardly be at risk. Her two halves don't always blend so well together though. As a succuba she has a preference for subsisting on life force though due to her kirin half procuring her food of choice makes her vulnerable so Yaeko usually tries to stay on a vegan diet for as long as possible though she occasionally will cave in and take a cheat day.
Slightly Enhanced Mental Capacity:
High Social Intelligence: Yaeko possesses a supernaturally high social intellect granting her enhanced social skills and turning her into a master at socializing. She is able to interact and befriend most people and can apply her social skills in any situation. Her skills with reading people is nothing short of godly making it extremely hard to hide things from her to a point where it can seem as though she can read your soul. She uses this to great effect by combining it with her ability to sense negative emotions to allow her to get a full picture of a person's current mental state to know exactly what emotions to nudge with norlat to get the desired outcome.
Manipulative Combat Prowess: Fighting Yaeko is physically, mentally, and emotionally draining. She is a grappler and one that relies on her shapeshifting ability and inherent charm to win. Using her shapeshifting ability to maneuver out of holds and gain better positioning. People have commented that she is as slippery as an eel in part because she can actually turn into one and in part because of her skill with getting out of holds. Once she has someone in a hold her weight and strength are the least of their worries. The very close proximity inherent in grappling forces opponents to experience the full force of her alluring presence to put their resolve in a hold as well. This is why fighting her is as draining on the mind as it is the body. If an opponent is weak willed they won't just stop resisting, but make it easier for Yaeko to put them in a hold. Strength, weight, and skill mean nothing if you are grappling against someone who wants you to put them into a hold. If an opponent's willpower is strong enough to resist the close proximity forces them to put constant and continuous into resisting her inherent charm. Not everyone has infinite willpower like the Pure Mother so unless an opponent can complete break away at some point their willpower will be exhausted. The question is if that happens before Yaeko's stamina runs out. She is a shapeshifting grappler who is constantly trying to get you to want to be put into a hold. Sometimes if her inherent charm is not she will begin to talk to use norlat to begin nudging on the opponent's emotions. While skill is the least of an opponent's worries against such a fighter, Yaeko hasn't ignored training. She as spent a lot of time learning how to grapple having mastered many grappling styles like wrestling, judo, aikido, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Skill she uses to keep an opponent's attention on the physical side of the fight to give her inherent charm the opening to work. Yaeko refers to her grappling style as Way of the Corpse Flower. Just as corpse flowers use their smell to attract pollinators so to does Yaeko use her inherent charm to draw opponents in and help her subdue them.
Negative Emotion Sensing: Negative Emotion Sensing is an ability seen mainly in the kirin that call Earth Land and it originated from Chastity. It allows her to sense hostility and other dark thoughts from the people around her. Kirin in Earth Land normally use this ability to stay away from violence and determine what lands are ruled by a benevolent ruler. Yaeko, however, uses it for combat normally as a means of gaining a vague idea of how an enemy will attack next because unlike full blooded kirins she has no reservations about combat beyond how it makes it possible to kill her. Outside of combat she uses this ability to help her read those around her and use the knowledge to help aid with her unique use of norlat. Using the ability to pick out what negative emotions a person is feeling and using the voids that surface on the sixth sense when a person is having a positive emotion and the feel of those blanks to figure out what positive emotions someone is feeling. The way she figures out positive emotions can be compared to how a person can figure out it is dark by how they can't see and can differentiate that from not being able to see because of a thick fog.
Purifying Touch: While Yaeko's purifying abilities is nowhere near that of a full blooded kirin she still nevertheless has the innate ability to purify to remove evil forces and negativity. For her though she can only purify things she comes into contact with thanks to her slightly holy body stemming from her kirin half. This is very different from a full blooded kirin who can not only purify anything they touch, but also can instantly purify large stretches of land with a thought. Judging by how she is always wearing gloves to avoid harming her demon allies it is an ability she is incapable of turning it off. Whenever she needs to fight demons Yaeko can make her Electro Curse and Sylph very lethal to demons by cloaking her body with lightning or wind and due to how unlike with the Purification Curse this ability purifies things normally it turns the elements into normal holy lightning or wind.
Peaceful Presence: As with full blooded kirin, Yaeko has the ability to induce a feeling of peace and calm with her mere presence. People are more relaxed and at ease around her, which unfortunately makes them far more vulnerable to norlat or her innate cubare charms as more often than not they are too at ease to resist. Her peaceful presence does more than make people relaxed, but also makes it slightly harder for those around her to get angry or to have violent thoughts.
Norlat: Norlat (ノーラット, Nooratto; lit. "Lovespeak") is an ability derived from a cubare's inherent charm that allows Yaeko to use her words to charm individuals. By cubare hybrid standards her words are unusually effective because of how the ability was enhanced by her divine nature that she inherited from her father's side. If she tries hard enough she can even cause her words to sway one the Four Great Generals though only if they aren't expecting it. Due to her kirin heritage norlat becomes vastly more effective when used for the purpose for diffusing conflict. If Yaeko wants peace there are very few people who can deny her of that wish once she uses norlat. In fact, after experimentation it was discovered that the only person in the guild that can resist Yaeko when she is using norlat to diffuse combat is the guild master. The experiment also revealed that to gain the boost in effectiveness she must truly want peace. She won't gain the boost if she tries to use it to lower a person's guard or if she is trying to be deceitful in any way. All that has been mentioned is under the assumption she uses the ability as a hammer with no tact or skill. Yaeko never uses that way except to convince people that she does so they aren't looking for how she truly uses it. Yaeko's skill with norlat is ridiculous and more than makes up for its lack of power. She rarely uses norlat to completely charm someone, but instead to make tiny adjustments to a person's emotions with enough subtly that few full blooded cubare can spot when she is using it. So subtle that there are times Yaeko herself is not aware she is using it. Yaeko, unlike her brethren, has rarely been called a tempter or silver-tongued snake because most falsely believe she is one of the trustworthy ones who don't use the ability. In a way she isn't. She is worse. She is an artist. Narlot her paintbrush. People her canvas. Instead of painting she convinces the canvas to paint itself. Getting people to manipulate themselves into doing what she wants to leave her guilt free. Making constant very tiny adjustments to their emotions very frequently until the person is subconsciously making those adjustments themselves because of how their brain now sees those adjustments as normal. Overtime this leads a person to unknowingly do what Yaeko wants even if she isn't there and the best part being they think it is there own idea. There are people who Yaeko has not seen for 50 years who are still living their life how she wants them to. Furthermore, on the off chance someone is strong willed enough that she can't even nudge them her relaxing demeanor done for the purpose of making a person less likely to want to resist paired with how her overwhelming hyperactivity leaves little room for the person she is interacting with to think has a tendency of making weak willed individuals out of people who are normally not. Aiding this is her family resemblance to her father. People think of her as a kirin hybrid first and a demon hybrid second. Thinking that there is no way a kirin hybrid would play with people's emotions thus lowering their guard further. It is true she cannot affect everyone so instead she subtly weakens the resolve of people to a level where she can. Her power may not be enough to charm everyone, but she doesn't need to charm a person to get people to do what she wants and few people have enough self awareness and willpower needed to resist how she uses this ability. It takes far more than willpower to fully resist for how can one resist what they don't notice. This rarity is secretly the reason why Yaeko respects Nurarihyon so much and why she swore loyalty to him. The combination of his strong willpower and how cunning he is allowed him to notice the nudges and thus resist making him one of the handful of people who can not only resist, but notice when she is trying.
Dreamscape: Dreamscape is the second ability inherited from her mother's side and it allows her to enter someone's dreams typically as a means of procuring food. Her divine nature augmenting the ability to grant her the ability to control another person's dreams to adhere to her wishes. While normally used for the purposes of getting food she can also use it to help others for example to help Otohime with her nightmare disorder.
Shapeshifting:
Yaeko in her true form
Shapeshifting is an ability she obtained from her mother's side and it allows to change her appearance. In the past Yaeko used to use this ability a lot to make drastic changes to her appearance, but now as a member of the Hyakki Yagyō she uses it less often preferring her hybrid appearance around her friends and comrades. While Yaeko can shapeshift into a wide range of forms two stand out among others. These two forms stand out because of how the change effects not just her body, but biology as well. The first is what everyone believes to be her true form. The form where she is equal parts kirin and succuba as a symbol of how she loves both parents equally. Although Yaeko considers this to be her true form it isn't. This isn't the form she was born with. The second form is her actual true form. The form she was born with. The form where she is almost entirely succuba shown by the disappearance of her kirin horn in exchange for two pairs of wings that grow one pair out from her shoulder blades and the other pair out of back of her waist. In her true form she loses access to the Purification Curse, loses access to Blessing Magic, loses her unique immortality, loses her kirin abilities, loses most of her family resemblance to her father, and her defensive physical attributes like durability are lowered to human levels. In exchange though her curses receive a drastic boost in power to make up for losing Blessing Magic, her cubare abilities become far more effective, her strength and speed are enhanced in proportion to the decrease of the physical abilities, and she gains a stronger family resemblance to her mother. Her true form isn't any stronger than her hybrid state. Instead, it is a form where abilities are exchanged and weaknesses are exchanged. It is less of a heightened state like Etherious Form and more of an Offensive Form in contrast to how her hybrid form is more of a balanced form.

Yaeko has a lot of curse power in her possession shown by how she once summoned a bolt of lightning that destroyed a three story building. In any other guild this amount of curse power would be more than enough to make her an S-class, but she isn't in just any guild. As impressive as Yaeko is the Four Great Generals have power so absurd that it makes her seem like a joke by comparison.
