Yanjin (炎堇. Honōkin) is the wife of Jiang Zhihao and a general of the Xiang Dynasty. Born as one of the barbarian women from the Lóngshé Tribes, she is from the Hanzhu Clan of the Zhenbai Tribe. Throughout her childhood, she is told that she is descended from the tribal warrior Hanzhu Qiangwei, and her mother, Hanzhu Yanzheng, is the thirtieth descendant of that great warrior, as such, Yanjin is from a family of warriors, expected to fight on proudly, thus her name is Hanzhu Yanjin (韩祝炎堇. Kanshu Honōkin). This is the reason why when Jiang Zhihao first met her, she was very determined to duel him in a one-on-one duel, to which both of them are tied. Impressed by his might, and with Jiang Zhihao also complimenting her skill, both of them realized that they are practically made for each other as a power couple.

Fighting alongside her husband, she shows off her great swordsmanship skills, and her tactical prowess as well, being able to lead her husband's armies in the Battle of Yancheng, and also participated in the war against the state of Taizhong with Shao Mengsun even dueling her at one point. From there, she is known as the "Southern Demon" (南魔. Nánmó) due her heritage coming from south and because of battle prowess, which isn't that accurate of a demon. Her other title, "Conqueror of the Jungle" (丛林的征服者. Cónglín De Zhēngfú Zhě), refers how Yanjin is able to defeat the other warriors of Huangxia with only her sword and her fire magic, which she is skilled at.

In the terms of her appearance, she has olive skin from being outside, pink hair that is at shoulder-length, blue being her eye color, and stands around at her forties. However, while she is at the age of forty, her physical appearance is still beautiful, suggesting that she may had have done something to keep her appearance looking more youthful as a teenager. Due to this, it is often common knowledge or a legend that she may have discovered the potion of youth, drinking it so that she may still be as beautiful as the flowers. Either way, her physical appearance is what also can keep other men from trying to marry her even though it's painfully obvious that she's already married to Jiang Zhihao.

In the terms of her clothing, on her head, she wears what appears to be a headdress, with thigh highs, detached sleeves, and a light-red dress. Sometimes, Yanjin didn't really gave out an answer or even an explanation about the clothing she wears, saying that she got them by stealing from some Huangxian noblewoman whilst she's not looking.

If her family being a bunch of warriors didn't say anything, then it is to say that Yanjin is very hot-tempered, and often seeking to fight in a battle where she would show her strength and courage against her foes. This show of bravery and boldness against an enemy is what made her very feared by her foes, as they would silently weep for that day that Yanjin would appear in battle. This is matched with her intellect and her great sense of patriotic mind, saying that while she is of Lóngshé blood by her ancestors, she is also a Huangxian by where she lived throughout her whole life.

In battle, she shows forth her leadership on how she can be capable of commanding her husband's army with her cunning and her strength of being able to take down multiple enemies at will. Further shown is during her duel against Shao Mengsun when she is able to duel him for three hours without tiring, only stopping as she is shown of her limits in a fight. Other than her tactical leadership, she is unexpectantly harsh towards soldiers, especially recruits from a city, as she sees them as a bunch of sissies who never seen blood and would do her best to turn her troops into veterans of a war.

In secret however, she also has a more timid side of her, and is a bit of a pacifist, a very stark contrast to the more hot-blooded and strong side of her. Her timid personality is because she prefers to have a more quiet way of life, and is in secret, lacking the courage to spill blood, her more courageous side of her being but a façade. And her pacifist side of her being because she wishes for a more peaceful way of thinking, as she believes that while it is hypocritical of her to glorify war, she wishes to settle things in a more diplomatic way. This is further shown when Yanjin is able to diplomatically use her thinking to prevent two rival villages from attacking each other. All of this is showing of her low self-esteem, she thinks that she is simply not worth it as a warrior, that she wants to be loved by people, and that she simply no worth in her life.

As she, in secret from other people, prefers pacifism, she values the lives of others, which is evident when she is within civilian grounds, showing that she is kind towards people, and that is what made her well-known for the less fortunate people of Huangxia. This can come in the form of her singing songs of happiness and of peaceful times before war. This is even shown as she often cares about children, and with Jiang Zhihao's personality of using diplomacy and peaceful methods of showing that he seeks more or less a ceasefire, both of them become popular with the common folk.

Sword Magic

• Sword Beam: (魔力剣波. Maryokuken-ha. Chinese: Mólìjiànbō. Lit. "Magic Sword Wave"): Sword Beam is one of the most basic and highly used spells of Sword Magic. The user channels their magic power into their blade, condensing and empowering it until a chosen moment in which, with the swing of their blade, they unleash a torrent or beam of energy towards their foe. The beam can travel at any speed, ranging from slow to fast.
• Shatterguard: (備壊攻撃. JunbiKōgeki. Chinese: Bèihuàigōngjī. Lit. "Breaking Attack"): Shatterguard is a basic yet excellent spell of Sword Magic that is most commonly used to combat other swordsmen, though can also be used as a plain attack or defensive maneuver. The user channels their magic power into their blade, positioning it so the entirety of the blade is forward towards their target, then the user charges forward, as energy forms in eight lines around the blade, wrapping into a blunt battering ram of sorts.

Spellblade

Spellblade (魔法煎剣. Mahō Ni Ken スペルブレード. Superuburēdo): Spellblade is a specialized Subspecies Magic of Sword Magic which is easy to perform for almost any Sword Magic user with any experience; Spellblade is a powerful hybrid technique combining both sword skills and magic.When initiating this style of combat, the user infuses their raw magical power within their blade, giving it elemental properties, in addition to unrestrained cutting power. It was originally designed as a magic technique which creates an exceedingly thin layer of eternano capable of cutting through almost anything. The eternano can easily be switched to their spells, ensuring the cutting power remains; but also allowing the user to utilize their own individual style. When the user's blade is infused with their raw magical power, it replaces the hard, metal blade of the sword with a blade of light, similar to a laser. When Spellblade is in effect, it turns the user's attack into a power on the physical and magical side. This makes it incredibly useful for fighting demons, who do not have physical bodies and therefore can only be hurt with magic. It can also be used against foes whose magic bodies are sealed off or missing, and thus are immune to most magic. The Spellblade is powerful enough to destroy lesser demons in a single blow if the wielder can manage to hit them. Even middle-ranking demons can be seriously wounded or killed by this attack. High-ranking demons such as the Primordial Demons, however, often display near immunity to the weapon's power, requiring more powerful techniques to kill.

It enables the user to break down the basic elements of various spells and then focus them upon their blade; this essentially combines magical energy with their sword in order to cause various effects, in addition to merely strengthening blows. The size and length of the blade appears to correspond with the amount of the user's raw magical power that they poured into it. At its fullest, Spellblade can result in a long blade of light, while when exhausted from magical energy, the user creates smaller, sometimes flickering blades. Due to the blade now being composed of magical energy, Spellblade can also be used to channel and amplify spells, increasing their power as they are released from the blade. The sword can also absorb spells to become stronger for short periods of time; and the magic itself can also be controlled and fired at opponents from the user's sword, resulting in powerful explosions of pressurized magic. Especially skilled practitioners can control the influx of magical energy, making even lower-leveled spells potentially fatal when directed through the user's sword.

Fire Magic

Fire Magic (火の魔法. Hi no Mahō) is a Caster Magic, Holder Magic, and a form of Elemental Magic which grants the user the ability to create and manipulate the element of fire. This type of magic allows the user to control and manipulate the kinetic energy of magical particles to generate, control or absorb fire, being able to manipulate it for general purposes.

• Fire Whip (火の鞭. Hi No Muchi): An extension of a fire stream, this continuous stream of flame has a semi-tactile quality and can be utilized as a whip.
• Fiery Blast (炎の爆発. Honō No Bakuhatsu): The user creates a blast of fire that hits a target.
• Burning Barrage (燃える弾幕. Moeru Danmaku): A volley of small fireballs are hurled into the enemy. The number of fireballs may range from one to five.
• Burning Head (燃える頭. Moeru Atama): A cackling visage, wreathed in flame, appears before the user. With a final screech of glee, it bounds towards the enemy. The effects of this spell can range from harmful to life-threating, and the effects are the it can possibly scare the user to flee.
• Firewall (防火壁. Faiau~ōru): The user builds a wall of flame as protection. The wall of fire can extend to the height of a tree, but it can be easily removed by a mage specialized in Water Magic or Wind Magic.
• Fire Bullet (ファイア・バレット. Faia Baretto) is a Fire Magic Spell that allows the caster to fire a bullet-esque sphere of flame towards the target. Fire Bullet is known to be exceedingly basic in execution and it tends to be the first spell that those who take up elemental magic learn; indeed, it is near universal to the point that more often than not, any fire-elemental mage who possess it within their arsenal of fire-magic spells. Fire Bullet itself harnesses the very fundamentals of spell formation to result in what could be considered an embodiment of what it is to make a magic into a spell. In any case, when performing Fire Bullet, the caster expels their magical energies from their body, causing the eternano in the vicinity to be drawn towards these energies like a magnet, resulting a the typical fusion of eternano and magical energy- from this point, the caster harnesses the Shape Transformation in order to knead these energies into a sphere of varying sizes, typically as big as the user's upper body before using their Fire Magic to excite and speed up the motion of the magical energies through willpower alone, manipulating the kinetic energies of said particles to ignite them, resulting in the formation of a smoldering sphere of flame.
• Piercing Bolts of Fire (ピアスの火のボルト. Piasu No Hi No Boruto): The Magic user summons forth a flurry of incandescent flaming missiles. The number of missiles can vary from one to five, but each of them has a very powerful effect on the target.

Five Fireball Attack.

• Five Fireball Attack (五火の玉攻撃. Go Hinotama Kōgeki): The user, as the name suggests, creates five flaming balls of fire to hurl down upon the target of choice. By positioning their hands at the size of a ball, the user would then throw it at a random angle to create a highly destructive explosion.
